I purchased my wedding gown from Catan's. My experience there was wonderful. My first trip in went very well--so well in fact that I found my wedding dress! My coordinator helped me & my mom look through the thousands of dresses they had and pulled ones with the sleek profile I was looking for. She also let me puruse the Couture sections even though she knew everything in there was out of the budget! After trying on a few dresses that I had approved and coming up short, my coordinator gave me one that wasn't exactly what I was looking for in texture, but told me to try it--it ended up being the ONE! She then moved me to one of the Couture dressing rooms to have a more glamorous feel and picked the most perfect veil for the dress that I ended up purchasing. more

Their wide selection can't be beat, and they provide a large range of wedding needs, including accessories and bridal party outfits. more

Everyone was great at the store they look at what you like and then have you look around the store the girls will pull dresses as well as let you pick out dresses you like. The help you figure out what looks good on you after you start trying on. They are also very knowledgable on most of the dresses and give suggestions for changing dresses such as added capped sleeves or a row of buttons. They are also very nice about explaining the size chart of the designer before they measure you and tell you what size you need to order since every designer has his own size chart. One of my bridesmaids dresses was sent wrong by the designer and Catan's took care of making sure a new dress came in on time. more

I purchased a beautiful dress at a reasonable cost from Catan's Bridal. My experience trying on dresses was fantastic. The woman we worked with was patient with my indecisiveness and attentive in just the right way. more

Their selection for plus size brides were limited, but I applaud them for having ANY plus sized dresses to try one. Most bridal salons have none. They at least have a plus sized section. more

The staff was always nice and helpful. I found my dress the first trip there. The price was cheaper than I expected. My mother and mother in law both found beautiful dresses as well. I found just what I wanted for the bridesmaids and flower girl. more

I told her my budget and she gave me a great deal and helped me pick the perfect dress and I found a gorgeous pair of earrings!! more

I have known the owner of the Bridal Store for 9 yrs. She is mean and angry. In all fairness to her employees even the cranky ones, she is a tyrant. The best time to go into Catan Fashions is when Mrs. A is not there. I was there a few months ago with my maid of honor. She received a complaint from a customer about a girl in the bridesmaid section. She walked over and started yelling at her and demeaning her right there on the floor. The customer service is bad because she creates a hostile work environment. I went in there with Godzilla there and the staff was so nice and funny. The tension in the atmosphere was gone. She screams at staff so much she can barely keep them. That is why so many things get messed up. Her new staff are probably not properly trained because she is mean, they leave before they learn, or they get screamed at for making little mistakes. I went to David's Bridal and yes they leave you alone alittle more they should but they were excellent. I think Mrs. A should stop coming into the store so that it runs properly. And every member of management at Catan Fashions, Darice, and Pat Catans needs to take a business management course, anger management, and customer service courses. Hobby LObby and Michael's have the same items as Pat Catan's. David's Bridal and Dora's Bridal have the same services as Catan Fashions. I would suggest avoiding any Catan's Family people if you want decent customer services. This is not a competitor. I am a concerned citizen for the employees of these business. In the time of a rough economy, should we really give money to people who do not care about other people? more

Pretty much all of our wedding attire came from Catan Fashions including my wedding dress, veils (yes, I had two), accessories, bridesmaids gowns(5) and our mother-of-the-bride dress. Clearly we were loyal customers. more
