I have known the owner of the Bridal Store for 9 yrs. She is mean and angry. In all fairness to her employees even the cranky ones, she is a tyrant. The best time to go into Catan Fashions is when Mrs. A is not there. I was there a few months ago with my maid of honor. She received a complaint from a customer about a girl in the bridesmaid section. She walked over and started yelling at her and demeaning her right there on the floor. The customer service is bad because she creates a hostile work environment. I went in there with Godzilla there and the staff was so nice and funny. The tension in the atmosphere was gone. She screams at staff so much she can barely keep them. That is why so many things get messed up. Her new staff are probably not properly trained because she is mean, they leave before they learn, or they get screamed at for making little mistakes. I went to David's Bridal and yes they leave you alone alittle more they should but they were excellent. I think Mrs. A should stop coming into the store so that it runs properly. And every member of management at Catan Fashions, Darice, and Pat Catans needs to take a business management course, anger management, and customer service courses. Hobby LObby and Michael's have the same items as Pat Catan's. David's Bridal and Dora's Bridal have the same services as Catan Fashions. I would suggest avoiding any Catan's Family people if you want decent customer services. This is not a competitor. I am a concerned citizen for the employees of these business. In the time of a rough economy, should we really give money to people who do not care about other people? more
