Castle Party Rental LLC

Watch out for Terri Silverman and Bari Izenstark. They may be using the screen name ""Larry B"". They are deceptive, manipulative, and in essence cons. They tried to rip Castle Party Rentals out of $5,177.00 by doing a chargeback with their credit card company. They failed to meet the 50% deposit requirement, which should have been a warning sign from the beginning, however, we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Their equipment was delivered on time, despite them giving false information. They told us that there were no stairs leading into their venue (which incurs an additional charge), but sure enough it was a lie. They failed to provide payment at the time of delivery, so we charged their credit card as outlined in the rental agreement and credit card authorization. They are blatantly lying when they say that we did not deliver the day of their party. You can even call the banquet manager from Highland Park Country Club. Luckily, we also took pictures of the equipment being all setup so we were able to show that to the credit card company as well as testimonials from the five staff members that were on the delivery crew. After the event, they tried to get us to refund the transaction, saying that one of them wanted to pay part of the bill with check. We said that's fine, but we needed to either first be given a certified check or money order or if they chose to utilize a personal check, we would need two weeks for it to clear. They disrespected our equipment, damaging/staining several pieces of white lounge furniture. They also stole/lost a $100.00 remote that controls our light up tables. They made the crew move the furniture back and forth several times yet they did not pay for setup. To this day, we have been unable to collect the incurred fees for setup, carrying heavy furniture up stairs, damaged/stolen equipment, etc. After the event, they would constantly call and threaten to write a bad review if we didn't give them a discount. It is ashame that people have to stoop down to such levels and lie blatantly and try to take advantage of others. I stand behind Castle Party Rentals 100% and can provide positive references by the hundreds. I hope no company ever has to deal with these two individuals. more

RUN, RUN, RUN...AWAY from doing business with Dan Stanek at CastleParty Rental. this company is SHADY! they make promises but do not follow through with the delivery on the day of your party. Don't believe that Dan is always busy working on HUGE events. Mom Sandy is answering the phone and making up lies and excuses. They don't have the capablility of following through on contracts and delivery. DON'T SIGN THE CONTRACT. Once you give a deposit, that contract binds you to paying in full even when they don't deliver the day of the party. more

Castle Rentals has a great selection of rental items for any occasion. I hosted a baby shower at my house for my daughter. I was able to get a beautiful tent, lounge furniture, heaters, flatware, stemware, linen, etc all at their place. I didn't do much shopping around, but the pricing seamed very reasonable. What I liked most is only having to coordinate this with only one company. It really made everything simple. I recommend Castle for their nice products, helpful service, and reasonable pricing. more

This past weekend was my first experience with Castle Rentals and it will not be my last. They have so much cool stuff that it was hard selecting activities for the kids. We have spoiled the children at our company's picnic for the last five years and it was great to be able to spoil them again with some neat new attractions that they have never seen. The equipment that Castle provides is one of a kind. We do a casino party every year and decided to give these local guys a try since we are in St. Charles and so are they. They delivered the tables ahead of time before everyone got there and it was nice knowing that everything was set and ready to go. The dealers showed up early to prepare and were great. They've got some great staff and I definitely had a good experience. more

I would like to thank Castle Party Rentals for all their help with our ""March of Dimes"" fundraiser. This was the first event that I ever planned and am forever greatful for all the insight, advice, and input that they provided me. We more than reached our goal and at the very same time were able to enjoy a wonderful array of attractions and entertainment. We hired Castle Party Rentals for our fundraising event and on behalf of our planning committee, I must say we were extremely pleased with the service that we received. Everything that was delivered looked great. They made some great recommendations such as the Catepillar Crawl Obstacle Course. It was an attraction that really catered to the little kids and hence my fear of bigger kids trampling over the smaller ones was put to rest. Delivery and pickup was prompt and the staff was very personable. 5 stars for this company! more

Our marketing agency recently used Castle Party Rentals for air hockey table rentals in Las Vegas. Our client wanted to setup up a tournament and Castle had just the quality that we were looking for. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Dan from Castle Party Rentals. He invited me to his office to view linen samples, but since I am a teacher and an after school track coach, that did not quote work out. So instead he offered to bring the samples to our house. He had this huge binder with every color, pattern, and fabric possibly immaginable. I was so impressed with the selection. more

We hired Castle Party Rentals to entertain over 100 neighborhood children this past Sunday at our annual Halloween celebration. Their staff did a great job managing our rowdy kids and kept them under control. The Adrenaline Rush was an absolutely huge obstacle course and even the older kids thought it was the coolest thing ever. Thanks again and see you next year or hopefully before that! more

We recently tried Castle Party Rentals for our school carnival and it was the best thing that our PTO has ever done. They were so much better than the company we had been using the past several years. Not only were we able to get a lot more games than last year, but we also saved a ton of money. Last night I attended our company party. There were large beautiful tents, elegant linens, fun games for the kids, etc. While the kids played outsite, I enjoyed some time at the Castle Party Bar and then made my way to the dance floor where Castle Party put together a spectacular light show. The two delivery guys were really hard working and I would recommend their products and services. more

I have used Castle Party Rental to provide bouncers and tents to my block party for the last 3 years and they have always come through with flying colors. Always delivered what was ordered, on time and in great shape. I can't recall the gentleman's name who has come to set up the equipment but the first year of my block party he was so helpful in helping me figure out where the best place for all the items were and we have followed that format each year since. We rented a Claw Machine for the McDonald's yearly convention at the O'Hare Hyatt Regency. The event has over 2000 people attending which makes us extremely difficult and high maintenance customers. Castle Rentals was extremely professional, helpful and patient with us the entire time, answering all of our questions, sending pictures and dimensions in a timely manner. The actual rented machine came right on time and was in great shape, and the delivery men were very friendly and polite. Our event was a complete success and Castle Rentals was a huge part of that outcome. I asked the company about the other reviews on this site before renting with them, and they happily explained the situation and ensured there would be no problems. As promised, there weren't, so ignore the other comments, we will definitely be using Castle Rentals again in the future. Do not rent from this company. They are beyond unprofessional. We had ordered a full-day water slide rental and they never delivered! Talk about disappointing the kids! They made excuses (traffic) and promises (will get there at 12:30) and then just stopped taking our calls! I wish there was an option to rate them a -10! more

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THESE REVIEWS. I ORDERED A WATER SLIDE IN JUNE FOR A JULY 2010 BLOCK PARTY. IT WAS 95+ DEGREES ON THE DAY OF BLOCK PARTY AND I WAS TOLD THE SLIDE WAS GOING TO BE DELIVERED LATE. IT NEVER SHOWED UP AND THE COMPANY DID NOT EVEN ANSWER MY PHONE CALLS AFTER THE 3RD CALL. OVER 50+ KIDS WERE TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED BY THIS COMPANY. NOT A RELIABLE OR A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY. Pros: Nothing Cons: Does not deliver, does not communicate no response more
