Excellent Trustworthy 12/1/2016

I've been going to Ice Cold Air for years. It's hard to find people you can trust that actually locate the real problem and fix it without adding on a bunch of unneeded repairs. I can't count the times that someone said I needed something that Walt or Jim said I didn't need or fixed for much less. If I can I always go there first. If I can't go there first I always get their second opinion. I've saved hundreds of dollars using them. more

Good quality service 10/24/2016

I have been taking my car to Casselberry Auto Service for a while now. The last time was to have the brake pads replaced. They also put a new serpentine belt on because the air conditioner was making an awful noise. They always do a really good job for me. The mechanic keeps me updated with his progress. The customer service is always great. They have never charged me more than the quoted price. I recommend them to anyone. I will use them again. more

Ice Cold saved me $3000 9/29/2016

The AC in my 2011 Impala was blowing hot and I was getting a tapping sound behind the dash. Firestone in Sanford quoted me a little over $2000 for a complete replacement AC system plus a little over $1000 for five new actuator doors. Took it to Ice Cold for a second opinion, who discovered the problem was a broken wire on the compressor. They charged me $85 for the wire and $140 to fix one (not five) actuator door, a saving of nearly $3000. Made my day. Friendly, honest, expert people, which isn't always the case with the big chain shops! I took some satisfaction in taking the car back to Firestone and getting a refund for their "diagnosis." more

Fast and efficient. 8/23/2016

Casselberry Auto Service replaced my AC compressor and I liked them because they were really fast and efficient. This was my first time using them and will reach out to them again, sure. more

Mixed feelings 3/21/2016

I took my car into this shop in order to charge the A/C system and have it searched for leaks. They did a good job so far concerning the A/C system. They didn't find a leak but it works for now. However, while my car was there, they said my radiator needed to be flushed out. I've had to have that done previously so I agreed and they flushed it out multiple times. When I got the car back my car started overheating. I called the shop about it and they were very unhelpful. They didn't offer any useful advise other then I might have to take it in. In the end, I eventually found out that the radiator wasn't filled with coolant properly. So I had to go buy more coolant to add to my car myself after I already paid them for their coolant. This ruined my opinion of this place. I would only ever go back to have them work on the car's A/C. more

I'll never go back 7/27/2015

Either these people don't know what they are doing or they are not honest. I took my car in because AC stopped working. They said compressor needed to be replaced and quoted $1,000. We called a mechanic who does our other car repairs and he said he would be able to replace the compressor for around $600. When he actually looked at the car it took him about 5 minutes to figure out it was only a fuse. He charged us $50 to fix and my AC works great. And this is a mechanic who does not specialize in working on AC. more

fast and cheap 4/27/2015

Diagnosed and fixed multiple problems with air conditioning. Actually spent more time re-configuring fuses and tightening hoses and fittings without changing for anything but time for a diagnosis and resupplying coolant. The mechanic actually thanked me for the challenge. He was serious.....I think : ) more

I GOT SCREWED 3/10/2015

TOOK MY 2006 DODGE TRUCK IN FOR A/C REPAIR. WAS QUOTED FOR THE COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT AND PAID $862.90 AS I WAS QUOTED. A/C WAS COLD FOR 2 DAYS. TOOK IT BACK AND NOW THE EVAPORATOR IS BAD AND THEY WANT ANOTHER $700 TO REPAIR THIS. WHAT A RIP OFF! I PAID WHAT I WAS QUOTED AND NOW THEY WANT TO DOUBLE CHARGE. more

Reliable Service at a Fair Price by Friendly Staff 12/10/2014

I had a heater core issue and the new part didn't match the old one (apparently Chrysler redesigned it, because there were so many malfunctions). The mechanics prepared me for the worst regarding cost of labor, but were able to make it happen in the original time-frame and at the original cost. They really know what they are doing and I will be going back every time I need a repair. more

No car repair is fun but ICA Repair was recommended by a friend. I have found through several years that they are friendly, prompt and do good work. Most importantly they are honest. I asked Walt about a repair on one car that was getting close to the end of life. Should I repair it or look for a new car? He said he'd look for a new car. It was the right decision. He also took the time to look at a used car I was planning to buy. Definitely a good place to go. more

We have been using Casselberry Auto Service for about 8 years. We have car/van/truck all 1999 or 2000. They help us keep them running without paying for work/repairs we do not need. They are always friendly and very informative. I was looking up their # to refer a friend when I saw the previous reviews. I had to stop to take the time to put my review in. more

Totally honest 10/21/2013

I've brought my car and a couple mini vans to them for many different reasons. I've never ever had anything but great things to say for them. I just took my minivan there today and they were extremely good. I can completely trust them, in fact, I left a nintendo 3ds on my seat by accident, and never had a second thought about it. They're good man, but more importantly, they are honest. It's really hard to find that in an auto shop these days, trust me! more

Great Service 10/17/2013

Took my 2004 Vibe to Firestone for an estimate on the Air Condition not working and they tried to sell me a whole new system for $1400. So I was refered to Casselberry Auto by my boss and they relaced a single part for 1/3 the cost and my car is ICE COLD. Great Job!! more

Just because I drive a Corvette, everywhere I go they want to rip me off, NOT at Casselberry Auto Service! These guys can work on anything, they are thorough and you get to talk to your mechanic form start to finish. They are very fair in price and honest people, that is the only shop, the entire family will take our cars to! Finding an honest mechanic is just as hard as finding an honest lawyer, you will find the best mechanics and best service at Casselberry Auto Service!!! more

My poor car 9/7/2012

i have an older car and new to the area, i have spent a lot of money on this car over the past year but with the economy the way it is it is still cheaper to keep it. I recently had an electrical problem so I took it to the dealership and they wanted $500 to replace the alternator and another $100 to diagnoss to make sure that was the problem. i have a friend that has been going to Casslberry auto for a long time and suggested I check them out. I called and took my car there the next day, it was fixed in the time they told me it would be and for $200 less then the dealership. When I got there to pick it up I was nervous because the hood was up and they had it hook up to the machine. They (at no charge) just wanted to make sure everything was fine. VERY HONEST PEOPLE!!!!!
