Yesterday I went to Firestone and they quoted me over $1300 to replace an A/C compressor on a 2001 Saturn L200 series. Today I went to Casselberry Auto Service (Ice Cold Air) and they quoted me around $1000 for a brand new compressor installed. Casselberry Auto just saved me $300! The office staff is friendly and the technicians know what they're doing. I was actually able to speak to the technician who worked on my car before and after the repair. Definitly recommended. more

Came in with an after market compressor needing to be replaced. I was surprised they had a compressor in stock. They were very knowledgeable about converting the system to the latest freon now being used. Totally satisfied. Explained everything that needed to be replaced, the price, and service was quick. I have been taking my car to Casselberry Auto Service for about 10 years. Every time I have gone, they honestly assess the problem, will not recommend work if it is not needed. The repair is done once and done right, never had to return for repeat service on the same issue. Pricing is very fair and reasonable. more

About a month ago we took our car into Pep Boys on 434 and 1792. They put in a compressor and dryer for the A/C, that was $825.We went ahead and put tires on too, so we just spent a total of about $1,300. It blew sorta cold. So we took it back. They said it was the A/C dashboard control and was gonna charge $200 for the part and not charge for labor. We got the part did it ourself and saved $100. Still didn't blow cold. We had been back 3 weekends in a row, finally they said it was the evaporater, which is another $900. Joe at the front desk said he could do it for around $775, since we were such patient and a great customers. I asked if they were sure it was the evaporater, yes, Joe was positive it was, and when did we want us to bring it in. Well, since we had already spent all that money we decided to get a second opinion. A friend told us to take it to Casselberry Auto. We dropped of the car early in the morning by early afternoon Walt knew what the problem was and fixed it. It wasn't the $900 evaporater that Pep Boys for sure said it was. Walt saved us about $800. Not only that, but Pep Boys left some very important caps off and Walt replaced them. Their are still honest people out there and Casselberry Auto is one of them. Thank-you so much!!!! more

When my a/c stopped working, I brought my car to a big chain franchise mechanic shop. They told me I need my a/c replaced (compressor,condenser, and low side hose) total cost of $1700. Since my car was only 5 years old I didn't believe it. Casselberry Auto Service came highly recommended from a co-worker, so I brought my car to them. The owner, Jim Savage, has a friendly and professional staff who work well together to make my auto repair visits as enjoyable and convenient as possible. I have an older vehicle that recently was driving me crazy. I had already replaced several parts myself trying to fix the miss in the engine and the poor performance.
