Go here all the time. Never get tired of the service or the food and the ambiance is delightful. Been going for years

Hamburger was great, salmon was suppose to have a rice and cucumber salad but it was a carrot salad. The server (tall black guy) didn't want to be there and should find another j...

I had the tuna appetizer with sea weed salad. The crab crusted mahi, the crab cake, and the risotto with (you guessed again) crab... Everything was very tasty ( i corrected the salt and then it was great) a good value for your money and the atmosphere was very nice. Not a lot of decoration on the plate but you can tell they used high quality ingredients. I wish the wine list was a better. more

Food was good, got the escargot and the friend alligator tail, both were good, but nothing fabulous. The chili dusted scallops however were something special. Very very good! The service was sub par though. Barely saw my waiter, waited far too long to order and with an empty water glass throughout the meal. :/ more

Had dinner twice here in a 4 night stay. The appetizers, salads & entrees were all very good. Forutunately, we were able to sit outside to enjoy the view both nights. We also had the same server both nights and he was very good, especially on the 2nd night when we wanted to take advantage of the view/atmosphere and have a very long dinner. Highly recommend Casablanca, although may not be the best spot for a larger group. more

Pretty good. We have been coming to Casablanca for years. The chili dusted scallops were very good. The tiger shrimp with ravioli was good but a little salty. Presentation could have been improved. Overall worth a visit. more

The Caribbean Lobster was delicious, and my wife loved the chili-dusted sea scallops. Great service and a great view, watching the street scene as folks left the beach. It's busy and noisy, but fun, with a nice selection of fresh, creative appetizers and entrees. Highly recommend. more

Uninspiring food. The caesar dressing was bland, as was the crab risotto. Go for noise and crowds. I do have to compliment our waiter, who was trying hard. more

Food takes an hour, if you complain the "manager" will ask you to leave. Mostly cause he is trying to pick up some of the male customers, and has no sense of what a restaurant manager should do. If you wait for an hour thru the insults your food will be cold and soggy. - FOR YIUR OWN SAKE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! more

The good - beef carpaccio & alligator tail was good The bad, both of our entrees. New York steak was requested as med rare and it came fairly done at 5% pink. The pasta of the Linguine del mar was overcooked and all stuck together. Sauce was nothing special - felt as though anyone could make this at home. You would think if the dish contained 3 mussels and 3 clams (plus other fish), they would pick 3 good ones - 1 of each shell were bad as they didn't open when cooked I'm surprised that this place got such good ratings - perhaps all these ppl had only gone for appetizers ? more

I just returned from a wonderful evening at Casablanca. The atmosphere, food, and service were all outstanding. Their chili dusted scallops were probably the best I have ever had. Best meal in Fort Lauderdale so far. more

This place has an electric atmosphere and a romantic feel. The food was phenomenal and artfully presented. I highly recommend dining outside. The view of the Atlantic and nightlife is beautiful! Definitely try the veal ravioli! more

We visited the Casablanca cafe for an early dinner. We started with the which was very good. It was served with a variety of fresh fruits and lettuce. For dinner we ordered Tiger shrimp with four cheese Ravioli and a Moroccan Fish stew. The flavors were great! The service was slow. They didn't have a kids menu but they do make pasta, chicken fingers and grilled cheese for the kids. more

food was OK, but overpriced for what they offer. Service was good. Sitting outside was very nice, maybe a little loud as the restaurant is on a main street. The best part of that dinner was the piano man at the bar, he was very good. Either then that, not a restaurant I would go back to. more

Pros: The food was amazing! We had the Chili Dusted Sea Scallops & the filet... Both were delicious with generous portions. Cons: We had read this was a great place for a romantic date, however, it was painfully LOUD - we were seated upstairs in the dining room area (the bar was downstairs) we could not have a conversation and communicating with the waiter was extremely difficult as well - due to the noise overflow from below. The decor, location & food was great - the noise factor cut the evening short. more

The location of this restaurant is right in front of the beach ( very nice view), they offer sittings inside, in the terrace and the second floor balcony as well. They do not make reservations and on weekend it gets pretty crowded so it would be smart to call and check their waiting time. The service was always very good (my boyfriend and I went there quite a few times while in vacation), the drinks we had were amazing and the prices were very reasonable ( we had caipirinhas and sangria); the food was very good with two exceptions ( I tried the seafood pasta and the fetuccini w vodka sauce which I found them both just ok) any of the fish dishes were really good and also the surf and turf was really good. We only tried one dessert ( key lime pie) which was very good if u have a sweet tooth. I would recommend this restaurant. more
