CAUTION!!! Do not do business with this company. The owner does not stand behind the business deals they make. They sent a tech (if that is what you could call him) to set two to...

Top choice 12/11/2008

We are a international commercial business and have multiple sites in the Raleigh area, we have used this firm for large jobs $6,000 and lots of smaller ones - completely satisfied, they are now are sole source for all plumbing needs Pros: ownership more

Bad experience; very incompetent; overcharged for service 8/28/2008

They sent two inexperienced guys out who shorted out the wires on my new water heater and told me that I needed to call an electrician to have it fixed. I had to then call managent for a return visit. They also did not install the disposal correctly, and another guy came back again the next day. They did not offer to reduce my bill or offer any alternative compensation. It was a traumatic experience for a single girl. Stay away!!!! more

Helped me a lot during a disaster 7/21/2008

I recently had a water heater expansion tank leak while I was 2000 miles from home. (Town of Cary cut my water off.) Cary Plumbing responded immediately after hours (someone local was watching my dog, and alerted them), worked with me long distance, and replaced the leaking expansion unit. Then, when I got back, I had them move the water heater. They didn't charge me for the temporary expansion unit replacement done while I was away. My experience with Cary Plumbing is that they saved me from grief, when I needed them most. They were fast and competent and their plumbers are honest, polite and very responsive. more

Sent inept plumber 7/21/2008

The plumber they sent caused my water pressure to pop my water heater expansion tank. Dialed it up too high under the house. Pros: Responsive, competent Cons: none that I can think of more

Don't waste your time 5/15/2008

I called Cary Plumbing to setup a next-day appointment and they told me a plumber would show up between 10:00 and 12:00. My company manages several properties so it is of utmost importance that schedules be met: there is a lot of coordination that goes on behind the scenes (with tenants, with owners, with contractors, etc) and when somebody slips, any planned logistics are lost. Cary Plumbing called at noon to inform me that the plumber was tied up with another job and that he couldn't make it to my job site in time, that he'd be there at 1:00 PM. I talked to the actual plumber who was delaying everything and he said he was having LUNCH! Cons: They are a simple dispatcher! more

Great service 3/4/2008

I have used Cary Plumbing on several occasions and they have always done great work at a fair price and have been very friendly to work with. I would recommend them highly. more

Car Plumbing 11/15/2007

Tried to really overcharge my neighbor because her hot water heater leaked on a weekend. Estimate was so high she chose another company. They charged her anyway for just looking at it. This was a single older lady, and they had her in tears.\r \r I made an appointment with them. The were supposed to call before they came so I could meet them, but they didn't. Then, when the plumber arrived he didn't want to do any work because it was too late (3 pm?) If you call the office to complain it falls on deaf ears. Call another plumber. There are plenty others who are more customer friendly. more

Didn't call didn't show 7/12/2006

Not a whole lot to say other than they didn't bother calling me to tell me they'd be late. I called them after waiting for 15 minutes and they said they would find out where the plumber was and call me back. I called back again after now a half hour, was put on hold, and then they told me that some guy was on the phone and would call me back. Never heard from them. A big waste of time!! Use someone else. Pros: If you're looking for time to burn and for pretending like someone cares, these are the guys for you! Cons: Poor project management and customer satisfaction skills. more

Pretty good service 11/2/2005

Overall I was happy with the service provided. They were a little late for the appointment time, but I guess that is to be expected during a busy day. I suppose the thing I was most shocked about was how much the hourly charge was. One piece of advise, make a list of other things they can work on, since they charge you for a full hour whether you need it or now. more
