I've been using Carpet Giant of Ossining over a period of fifteen years, and I have always been very happy with their service. I like that they're very honest and they come in when they say they will. They also have quite a selection of carpets. The people they send over are great, and we've never had any problems. If anything needs to be adjusted they come back right away. I'm always satisfied with their results, and I would highly recommend their service. more

I've been using Carpet Giant for all my life. The service is good. The material is great. They are on time, professional, thorough, and courteous. Call them once and you're done. I probably won't need carpet for the rest of my life because they have done such a good job. My carpet is great; it's in top shape. If I need carpet, I would call them right back. I highly recommend Carpet Giant. more

Fair to middling 4/22/2015

We got what we paid for. We are not happy with the floor. We don't like the way it was laid, but I guess that's our problem and not anything they did. The guy who laid it was very nice. He was here a long time, it took all day. But I don't think he did a great job, the curbing was very poor at the doorways. They came back and looked at it, but it was too late to fix it. We can live with it, but it doesn't look good. This was our first time with Carpet Giant, they were recommended to us by a neighbor. more

Good People, Good Product, Cleaning Problems. 4/21/2015

I have worked with Carpet Giant of Ossining on a number of occasions. Their workers are always kind and their pricing is quite reasonable. However, I've had a few problems recently in regards to cleaning the laminate they installed about a year ago. I had most of my apartment done, and I must say that most of it looks great. However, my kitchen sees a lot of traffic and I started getting very difficult to remove scuff marks on it. At first I used the laminate cleaning product they recommended, but when that wasn't working I gave their support line a call. The rep that I talked to said that the laminate product that I was using left a greasy undercoat (something I had not been told earlier), and that Windex would work better. Since then I've switched to Windex, but I still get difficult to erase scuff marks. In short Carpet Giant provides quality flooring but there can be issues with long term care. more

Major problem. 3/24/2015

Carpet Giant of Ossining was great when I first had them install carpeting for me a while back, but things have changed since then. The carpeting had started to pull away from the wall, so I needed them to re-stretch it. The re-stretching had caused a major problem. I had two lamps on a dresser, and they had failed to remove one, so the lamp fell off the dresser and broke during the process of re-stretching. They denied that it had happened, which was not very professional. more

I had a great experience with Carpet Giant of Ossining. They responded quickly after a flood damaged my carpet and flooring. They removed the old carpet very quickly. They installed the new carpet within a week. The installation crew arrived on time, and the installation was neat and efficient. My sales experience with Carpet Giant was also good. Robert took his time with me, and didn't rush me to pick my carpet. He was even able to work with me on the price. I would recommend their service. more

Fair. 1/30/2015

We went to Carpet Giant of Ossining when we were looking to purchase new carpet and, overall, they were pretty good. The guys did a good job at installation, and, for the most part, were professional and prompt. My only issue was that we had to bring them back in after an insurance claim error and I wish that Carpet Giant had been more thorough in their follow up with me. However, I would still recommend them. more

More than expected. 1/26/2015

Carpet Giant of Ossining did much more than we had expected. The previous owner of our home had put carpeting down in both of our bedrooms downstairs. We noticed the wood floor underneath was fine, so we contacted them to remove all the carpeting and take out all the staples and nails. It was a last minute job, and they came in the following day. They finished it in two hours, moved the furniture and put it back, and did everything wen wanted and more. I would highly rate them for that. They were fantastic and I would highly recommend them. more

Great experience once the correct carpeting arrived. 1/15/2015

My experience with Carpet Giant of Ossining wasn't perfect at first, but at the end I was happy with their work. When the carpet first arrived it was damaged, so they had to take it back and reschedule an appointment. That was disappointing because I had moved everything to prepare for the original appointment. When the work was finally done, though, everything was great. The men who put the carpet down were absolutely lovely. They were punctual and neat, and cleaned up after themselves well. They were quick and did a very nice job. I would highly recommend them. more

I bought a small carpet area from Carpet Giant of Ossining. I rate them 3 stars because I did not love the sales guy - he was fine but not great and was a little pushy. However, the purchase turned out very good. I would suggest that it is easier to shop around instead of asking someone. more

Nice people but disorganized... 12/20/2014

The people in the store are nice as are the installers. It took 2 visits to install because of their mistake on measuring and the order. Also I am unhappy with the carpet installation on the stairs-it looks shoddy and cut wrong. Additionally where the previous carpet was cut and finished under the baseboard hear, this was left unfinished and just tucked in. Had I inspected this more carefully, I would have reconsidered the tip I gave the installers. more

CARPET GIANT OF OSSINING took my requests promptly and gave me a lot of ideas for new carpets. Choosing carpets are usually very time consuming, but they were very patient with me. Once I made a decision of what I wanted, they filled the order promptly, and even added a few extras. I thought that was a very nice gesture. more

I like supporting my local businesses, and Carpet Giants of Ossining, are in my own town. I've been with them for 16 years, and I completely trust them for all my carpeting and flooring. This time around, I just left my town house keys with them and they put in the new floors to my satisfaction! Mr. Rossi always stands behind his work and I have never experienced a complaint. The owner and his people give you what you want. If there is any product they don't have, they'll be happy to get it for you! more

Very accommodating 9/22/2014

Over the years, Carpet Giant of Ossining sold me various area rugs and runners but had not installed anything wall to wall. I installed everything myself. What I like is that the owner is a nice guy and they've cut paths for me in being very accommodating. more
