Best

My first stay @ Bellagio was very comfortable and dream-like. The staff was very nice and attentive. It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it ...

Worst

My wife and I recently stayed at The Bellagio. I have stayed at multiple hotels on the strip, and as far as the room, and the bed, The Bellagio is about as comfortable as stayin...

First Rate Hotel, However.... 7/5/2007

The hotel is truly deserving of its 5-star rating. The rooms, even the basic ones, are spacious and the staff courteous (evern the cleaning crew make it a point to acknowledge your presence), which along with the casino's location made our trip quite memorable. HOWEVER, as with all the five-star hotels these days, the Bellagio felt it necessary to nickle and dime you to death. For example, a bottle of Dasani costs $4.00, the LA Times is 2X its regular price, and you must pay $25 each day you want to use their weight room. FORTUNATELY, the shops at the Planet Hollywood hotel accross the street has an ABC store where we found near-normal prices for water and liquor (which we brought to the pool, which is excellent). AND GO GAMBLE SOMEWHERE ELSE (unless you're a high roller, you won't find a table under $25 at night and everyone I spoke to agreed that they didn't win there). Pros: Venue, courteous staff, pool Cons: nickle and diming of patrons, and gambling not for players with average $ more

Worst valet experience ever! 6/25/2007

This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel and I have never witnessed worse customer service when it came to the valet. I attempted to use the valet service 3 times in a recent trip to Bellagio. Every attempt there was more than a 15 minute wait for an attendant to even acknowledge we were there. I opted to leave the valet line for self parking every time. On more than one occasion I had to drop people off at the main entrance. Once I had finally reached the appropriate spot to let them out of my vehicle they had to walk across 3 lanes of constantly moving limos and cabs. Luckily no one was hurt. During my last encounter a passenger had to get out of my car to move a pylon so we could escape the valet area. There were at least 6 employees standing there doing nothing but apparently that was more important than helping us maneuver out of their horrible valet. Pros: nice casino and guest rooms Cons: valet more

Love it! 6/12/2007

Overall the best buffet! Love love love their french toast! A bit pricey, but totally worth it! A must splurge! Pros: Yummy Yummy Yummy more

The creme de la creme!! 6/12/2007

Best place and only place to stay at in Vegas! Gorgeous design, beautiful, elegant decor, amazing rooms! A must see and stay hotel if you ever go to Vegas. 7 pools/jacuzzis. Scrumptious food- love Cafe Bellagio and there's an amazing pastry place w/ an unbelievable chocolate fountain! Also gotta love the shops-Chanel=) Overall, breath taking!!! Pros: Beautiful, breath taking, elegant more

Recommeded every Vegas visit 6/11/2007

They have the top food quality of any buffet I have been to. The fish is always fresh and the food different and tasting great every time I visit. Its worth the little extra you pay over the other buffet options in Vegas. There is a large assortment of foods that would allow any choosey food eater to be happy. I would recommend going a bit early for dinner or a little later for lunch, as the line could be long. I usually go for the lunch around 1.30/2pm. Pros: the food Cons: the line more

Watch your wallet here 6/6/2007

Man, I didn't think it was possible to lose all my money that fast. I got no play for my money here. Out of all of the casinos I was in, this one was very nice, but does not pay out that often. Pros: Nice Place Cons: Poor Payouts more

King Crab on weekends 5/24/2007

The crab alone is worth the price tag(about $37). I see all these reviews about prices going up in ""recent years"". I've been coming to Vegas since 1996 and do remember the 99cent shrimp cocktails, 2 for $1 burgers, and other cheap eats. That was over 10 yrs ago! Since 2001 I haven't seen a single 99 cent shrimp cocktail anywhere! The cheap deals are definitely gone from the strip..they've BEEN gone for years now. Now.. you get what you pay for. You can pay $8 for a buffet at the Orleans that will send you racing for the john...or you can pay a little more to eat here or the Wynn. Pros: King crab, Kobe style beef, Desserts Cons: Looooong wait more

Prices have skyrocketed on the Strip,(no deals apparent anymore)..Sad.:( 4/25/2007

Being from the west coast ,I am used to fresh sushi, this was not that animal! At $20 it would be a good deal,as other items were decent,But @ $35.00 it is not!!. Vegas buffet prices have skyrocketed in recent years and the attraction of a great tasting, good quality buffet at a reasonable price no longer exists on the Strip. Very sad. more

The price of The room is ""Not WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD."" plus the hotel has poor service. 4/14/2007

The room is small and the plumbing in the bathroom emitts a high pitch sqeal from neighboring visitors. The toliet also makes loud noises when flushed. But the bed was comfortable, and you can adjust the temperture. However, the hotel service was not good. The first two hotel representives we had encountered had negative attitudes and poor customer service. If Megan is your service representive, you should move on to the next clerk. The only benifit is you can check out at 12PM. Pros: Soft pollows, late check out Cons: extremely poor service, small room. more

Don't expect too much taste!! it was just okay. 4/14/2007

My boyfriend and I stayed at Bellagio and ate at the buffet. The service was extremely slow for the paying patrons, but service seemed quite good for the patrons who were invited by the hotel, probably because they spent a lot of money in their casino. The food was bland and plain, compared to Wynn Buffet (highly recommended). The food wasn't very fresh and seemed quite poor for the $30 per person charge. Wynn was the best buffet we have ever had and the price was only $7 higher ($37 per person). Service at Wynn was superior because they treated everybody equally, whereas Bellagio only treats you well if you are rich. more

Beautiful Hotel that Caters to an Older Crowd 3/8/2007

The Bellagio is a beautiful hotel, one of the nicest looking, if not the nicest on the strip; however, it targets an older audience. If you are in your 20s or 30s, you may have a better time at The Wynn, The Hotel at Mandalay Bay, or possibly the Palms; if you're above 40, this is the place for you. I must say though, it is a gorgeous hotel at any age. Pros: Great Service, beautiful rooms Cons: Caters to an older audience more

One of nicest hotels on the strip 2/6/2007

A fantastic hotel, albeit somewhat expensive as most high profile Vegas hotels are. But its worth the money since its on the main strip. The rooms are nice sized and the hotel is immaculate. more

Very Classy 1/18/2007

I've been to Vegas a few times and this was my first stay at the Bellagio. My girlfriend and I stayed for the week after Christmas. This place is first class all the way. The interior was beautiful, especially the Dale Chihuly glass in the lobby. Very, very upscale shops and restaurants (get a table at Prime if you can). The room was large and had a terrific view of the fountains with the Paris hotel in the background. I do think i'm a little too young (28) to be the Bellagio's target demo (read=older, richer, european, asian). On the upside, its central location makes it the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the strip. On the downside, its central location makes it extremely crowded. One tiny thing that did bother me was that someone from the cleaning staff left a half finished snapple in our room. For my money, I would rather stay at the Mandalay again, but I definitely understand the attraction here. Pros: Lakeview rooms, very classy Cons: overcrowded more

It was just ok 12/21/2006

I went to the bellagio buffet for dinner on 11/29/06 and i was disappointed with their selection and freshness on their sushi buffet...just california roll and tuna sashimi. I was expecting high quality from bellagio and more selections. Their other entrees were typical of any buffet. Their desserts were pretty good though. \r I recommend it...the food is good but bellagio buffet doesnt live up to its hype nor the price.\r more

Best of the premium buffets 11/22/2006

The Bellagio buffet sets the standard for high quality Las Vegas buffets. Everything is top notch and is sure to please even the fussiest people. We particularly enjoy the seafood entrees, salads and desserts. I prefer to not think of it so much as a buffet, but as my personal tasting menu. Pros: High quality buffet Cons: Lines are long more

A fantastic attraction 11/22/2006

The fountains at Bellagio at night is the single best free attraction in Las Vegas. We are frequent visitors and never miss a walk along the sidewalk at night watching the fountains and listening to accompanying music. The Christmas holidays are particularly nice when they add a number of seasonal songs. Pros: Spectacular free attraction Cons: Does not operate when it is windy more

Best Buffet On the Strip 11/21/2006

If you don't usually like buffets, you might like this one. It's not the cheapest, but it's the best. The food quality is superb. It tastes more like cooked-to-order restaurant food than a buffet. Everything is fresh, and the ingredients are top-notch and well-prepared. There are multiple cuisines on display, including American, Italian, French, and Chinese. Seafood and meat are plentiful. The dessert selection is also top-notch. Pros: HIgh quality food, wide variety Cons: A little pricier than some buffets, can have a long line at times more

Imaginative, high quality buffet 11/19/2006

The buffet at Bellagio consistently gets high marks if you're a buffet type, and for good reason. Although it's not one of the cheapie buffets in town, the quality, variety and imaginative dishes more than justify the cost.\r \r If you want to check it out at without breaking the bank, try going for lunch. One of the little things that make you know this is a quality place is that the shrimp aren't little peel-and-eat Sizzler types. They're large and already peeled and cleaned. \r \r Numerous choices for salads, entrees, and desserts. You'll have a hard time deciding what you want to try, but there will be many more than you can possibly even sample. Without exception, everything was very, very good. Well-prepared, attractively presented, and continuously refreshed.\r \r Like lots of casino restaurants, you do have to trek through the casino to get to it, but it's worth the trip. Pros: Variety, Quality Cons: A little pricey, but worth it. more

selection selection selection 11/17/2006

great food and a really good value , dont feel like you have to stuff yourself silly just to get a good value. Pros: very nice selection at a good price. Cons: what to choose more

The hotel is undeniably elegant. Love the gardens and the pool. 11/17/2006

The room was very nice, had a suite overlooking the fountains where you could watch the show and the music was piped into the TV. The bath was huge and built for two. Splurge a little and get a suite, its way nice than the regular rooms Pros: fountains, gardens, safety, Cons: a tiny bit stuffy more
