My first stay @ Bellagio was very comfortable and dream-like. The staff was very nice and attentive. It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at SweetHotelDeals.us They usually have some pretty good deals on there! more

Bellagio is one of the best hotels in Las Vegas as it offers affordable room rates. I never regret my stays in Bellagio because the massages are free and the staff are so friendly. more

I have stayed here a few times. It is always beautiful. You shouldn't be scared of spending a fortune. You can get some good deals for nice rooms if you do your research carefully. It is by no means cheap, but if you're going to pay for any place in vegas, this is well within the bal park of the other casinos around, plus you have the luxuries of a nice place. And still, whenever I stand looking at the fountains in front, I feel just like Danny Ocean at the end of the original. (you know what I'm talking about!) more

Not only is this place beautiful, it's clean!! I had relocated from another hotel that was pretty skeevy when I found that there was a cancellation at the Bellagio. The Bellagio has quite a lot to do and see, not to mention the amazing fountains in front of the hotel.. this made my stay in Vegas memorable. I have to say, the service, the rooms and the food made a long week of work quite enjoyable. \r \r Thank you!!! See you in two months! \r more

I got married at the Bellagio Wedding Chapel in December 2010. The chapel is pretty cute, and the hotel is gorgeous. \r \r Pros: \r +A well-known hotel \r +Recorded the wedding \r \r Cons: \r -Overpriced \r -You can't bring your own photographer, and the photographer they provide will charge you a whole bunch of money for photos of your own wedding \r -We paid for the photographer for 1 hour, but he only stuck around for about 40 minutes. \r -They ""include"" a certain dollar amount of flowers, but when you see the options, their prices are overinflated. --This means with the included amount, you can only their cheapest arrangement (unless you're willing to spend extra money), that you could get somewhere else for 15% of their price. \r -They say you will be able to talk to the minister about the service, but he doesn't take any input. i.e. if you don't want to use rings in your ceremony, he will still use the words for a couple using rings, even though there aren't any rings. Pretty dumb and awkward. \r \r More notes on the photography: \r The package you get includes a certain number of photographs. When you go to pick them the next day, they will have them all printed out already, but won't give you more than your contract says. Also, the photos are only matte, don't even hope of getting some glossies for your album. They want you to pay about $15 per photo for a digital copy. All in all, the package they wanted us to buy from them for the 40 minutes they spent with us and the 60 photos was $3,000. Absurd. \r \r I *might* recommend this chapel if you could bring your own photographer, or if the photography package they offered was somewhat reasonable. With the uber-expensive photo package they try to force on you (your only other option is to not have photos from the wedding, except for a handful of small matte photos), I would NOT recommend getting married at the Bellagio. more

I have stayed at Bellagio three times and had a great stay each time.Check-in is one of the few sour notes. Twice, I had to wait more than an hour for my room to be ready, which I found bothersome. The property itself is spectacular. The lake with fountain show in front is still terrific, even though I've seen it many times.The Dale Chihuli sculpture in the lobby, and the endless display of flowers in the conservatory are among the interior highlights. The array of restaurants is amazing. Picasso and Le Cirque are among the best fine dining restaurants that I've ever visited.The buffet is also the best in the city by far. The pool area is also excellent, although it seems in some respects to have been copied from Caesars.The guest rooms are well appointed and include private bars,and electronically controlled curtains and sheers.The casino is sprawling, and some may find the limits too high for their liking.Another point is that it seems like you have to walk miles to get from one place to another. For example, going from the main guest tower to the JPM patisserie takes forever. Service is generally very good for a hotel with 4,000 rooms. In spite of a few negatives, Bellagio is my 3rd favorite Las Vegas hotel behind Four Seasons and Wynn/Encore. Pros: Great rooms, superb restaurants, good service. Cons:Check-in is hit or miss, walking from place to place takes forever, even compared to other casino/hotels with 4,000 rooms. more

Everything about the Bellagio was simply breathtaking! From the marble and glass bathrooms to the atrium filled with millions of live flowers, it was like a dream. They didn't try to cheat you or up the price they quoted when you make reservations. The separate glass shower was so fabulous that I wanted to take it home. The tub has jets for a whirlpool. The towels are heavy and plush. The linens were European with down comforters and lots of pillows. The mattresses were so classy that there were no pressure points--like sleeping on a cloud. The dancing waters were fabulous! The services--check-in, maid service and concierge--were all helpful, lovely and accommodating. If you made me come up with one negative thing about the Bellagio, it would be that anytime anyone touches their in-room candy display or refrigerator the sensor assesses a charge. It's promptly removed upon request if nothing has been taken. I understand lots of hotels have that now though. Other than that little bauble, it was like a trip to Heaven and I didn't want to go home! Pros: Everything is absolute perfection! Cons: Long walk from room to lobby--take your Nikes! more

I've stayed at Bellagio twice and had an excellent visit each time. The hotel itself is beautiful, highlighted by Dale Chihuli's Fiore de Como sculpture on the lobby ceiling, the flowers of the conservatory, and the fountain show. Guests rooms are on the large side and have excellent amenities.The restaurants are absolutely outstanding. Picasso and Le Cirque are my favorities. One of the few drawbacks is that the main tower guest rooms are a very long walk from reception.Also, service in some areas was spotty,due to layoffs related to the economy.I will surely return. more

the buffett at Bellagio is still top three for us. along with flamingo and rio buffetts ..Bellagio Dinner Buffet has a lot of food items to choose.. i would say the best varitie of food choice.. they have snow crab and king crab also unlike others .. the sushi is tops ..deserts are also AAA Pros: best deserts anywhere in vegas Cons: unsalted fake butter for crab more

April 7, 2009 / Bellagio Dinner Buffet\r \r We have been fans of the Bellagio Buffet since Steve Wynn's day. Unfortunately, since the property was sold off the buffet has been in steady decline. Well, now it has been driven over the cliff. \r \r Food Quality: The pizza, which was originally developed by the California Pizza Kitchen, used to be excellent, high quality exotic ingredients and meticulous prep. Now, not only is the pizza stale and the fillings pedestrian, but the cold left overs are tossed on to the occasional fresh pizza. \r \r The teriyaki flank steak is now overdone, tough, flavorless and stacked like cord wood at the station. \r \r The entrees are not replaced on the steam tables but are replenished like the pizza. Many old favorites like the creamed spinach have disappeared. And, like typical cafeteria fare, there was left over bacon, hash-browns and scrambled eggs from the breakfast buffet.\r \r The Alaskan King Crab legs, the only reason to prefer the dinner to the lunch buffet, have been supplemented by Ophilia crab, for the unsuspecting. And, when we were there some of the Crab Legs were still semi frozen and so liberally laced with salt that we could only conclude that the crab was left over and re-frozen. The boiled shrimp was not being replenished, diners were scraping the bottom of the serving bowls for the watery remains.\r \r The cold cuts have been removed from the salad bar and the selection of salads have been drastically reduced. They did not even have bacon bits garnish. Previously, the bacon bits were freshly prepared, a small but significant indicator of quality.\r \r The desserts are a joke, very little if anything remains. The creme brulle, profiteroles, and eclairs are gone. The sorbet maker was dispensing room temperature peach mix.\r \r You get the idea. The traditional Bellagio Buffet is no more. Really, in terms of quality, it is not that much worse than other buffets in the neighborhood, but no longer something special and they have raised their prices.\r \r We should not support mediocrity or that is all we will get. This is a terrific hotel. The guest rooms are spacious and well furnished. Bellagio cannot be beaten for its selection of fine restaurants. The pool area is dazzling although I find cabanas too expensive. Although the property is large,getting sround is a snap. Looking forward to going back more

Decided to try this buffet because it was highly recommended by many. The line was extremely and took forever to get through. Definitely one of the pricey buffets, but with the reputation it had I could have cared less about how much it cost. Unfortunately, the buffet couldn't live up to my expectations. The cold seafood bar was horrible. Nothing seemed fresh. My boyfriend, who has a big appetite, wouldn't go back for seconds. Not worth the price. Never going back again. pros: free self-service parking garage (standard in vegas).\r \r cons:\r loud power-flush toilet, shower leaks on the floor, small bath tub, stone floor instead of linoleum, cramped room yet a gigantic bathroom, dark wallpaper, dark lighting.\r \r there is no refrigerator nor a microwave. the fridge is stuffed with their own food that will cost u dearly should u open the door too quickly - any disturbance of contents is automatically billed to your account, even if u don't actually use the item.\r \r the housekeeping insists on cleaning twice a day even if u are staying for a week. this may be a ""pro"" for party animals.\r \r phone calls are not free. in fact nothing is complimentary here. everything costs money. internet is 15$ per day! to add insult to the injury their slots have 1 of the worst ratings:\r wizardofodds dot com/slots/slotapx3.html\r \r I have stayed at Ramada Inn in Medford Oregon, near the airport. It is pretty much opposite on all things mentioned. Their rooms are big and well-lit, with plenty of desk space. I would recommend that chain over any mega-resorts in vegas any time. Yuck, yuck. \r \r This used to be the very best buffet in Vegas, well not anymore! The fish are all flash frozen -- yuck! No taste! The deserts taste as if it's made of Crisco. Another yuck!\r \r What a complete disappointment. Don't bother going here! more

I can't imagine it getting much better than this. $27 seems high for a buffet, but considering you couldn't go to most of the sit down restaurants in these casinos for that much a meal, and with the high quality of the Bellagio Buffet, it's a no brainer to try this out! King AND Snow crab legs already split open for you! Bison sirloin, prime rib, and lobster ravioli. A dedicated station to freshly made sushi! A dedicated station for all kinds of salads! Wood fired pizzas! You name it, this place has it covered. This place is especially great if you're a ""foodie"" and love to try exotic things that you would normally be afraid to pay for to try. This was my worst hotel experience in many years and I stay at over 100 hotels/year. The bad experience started at arrival, when there was no porter to take in our bags. Then at registration, they tried to refuse to give us 2 double beds, as we had ordered. After sorting that out, we get to the room, which was grungy, with hairs in the bathtub. And try complaining to a manager? They just weren't available during our stay. With so many hotels on the strip, Bellagio is one to avoid. more
