Dancing Waters 8/8/2002

Every fifteen minutes people see and hear a spectacular water show. The music is different every time and you can stand there for a couple of hours and not hear the same music twice. It is a wonderful way to spend your evening on the Strip and not be quite so hot when the weather is so warm. The mists and spray floats over to you while you watch the show. Pros: Beautiful, Nice Location, Good Parking Cons: No Place to sit more

Great entertainment for free 8/8/2002

Probably one the best sights that are offered for free. The synchronization of the water to the music is great. The musical hits are good, but they coulkd improve a bit. Overall a great experience. I can sit there and watch the show for hours. more

Worth the Crowds 8/7/2002

The Bellagio Buffet is the best in Las Vegas, with truly good food and professional servers. But you'd better be prepared for the fact that everyone in Las Vegas (tourists and locals) KNOWS it's the best buffet and sometimes they all show up at once. Very long lines and a fairly chaotic serving area can sometimes detract from the fine buffet. If you are into buffets, this is the best, but go early or go late and bring your best gourmand appetite to get your money's worth. Wonderful desserts! Pros: Varied menu, Prompt servers, Terrific desserts Cons: Often crowded, Chaotic serving lines, Bellagio priced more

I was fortunate enough to stay at Bally's and my room overlooked te fountains. They are absolutly brethtaking!! They are one of the best things in Vegas!! Pros: no cost, show every 15 min more

Living in LVNV, I get a little weary of the ""touristy"" things when visitors come to town. However, never a week goes by that I do not take 15 mintues out of my day to stop and enjoy these breathtaking fountains. YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE ONCE. IT WILL BE YOU OWN PERSONEL PLAYGROUND FOR THE NIGHT. GET A TABLE AND GET READY TO BE TREATED LIKE A KING. An instant classic 7/29/2002

For many years, the largest musical fountain in the US was located in Grand Haven, MI (it's still there, I think). The Bellagio Fountains blow Grand Haven's away. The scale (the fountains' area is large enough to contain another casino), power, location (in the heart of the stip right next to LV Blvd) and sound are unmatched. The musical selections, from the national anthem to favorite Sinatra songs, are great. The one problem, the fountain sound system and display is so spectacular that drivers and pedestrians on the Strip tend to get distracted causing traffic backups. It doesn't get any better. I'd go to Vegas just for the buffets, and this would be my first stop. This isn't your run of the mill slop buffet. Delicious, gourmet, flat out Good Food is what you get here. The pesto mashed potatos... squash ravioli... imported cheeses... crab legs... and oh my goodness the desserts! Take time out of your busy ""see everything, do everything"" schedule while in Vegas and stop and see this attraction. It truly is a sight to behold! The lights and fountains together are awesome! Don't leave Vegas before seeing this spectacle! Pros: breath-taking, mesmerizing more
