For many years, the largest musical fountain in the US was located in Grand Haven, MI (it's still there, I think). The Bellagio Fountains blow Grand Haven's away. The scale (the fountains' area is large enough to contain another casino), power, location (in the heart of the stip right next to LV Blvd) and sound are unmatched. The musical selections, from the national anthem to favorite Sinatra songs, are great. The one problem, the fountain sound system and display is so spectacular that drivers and pedestrians on the Strip tend to get distracted causing traffic backups.
