I really liked the service I got from my salesperson Ivan, and the finance manager. I am very happy with my car and haven't had any problems. I went with a Nissan Altima because...

They post positive reviews about themselves. STAY AWAY! 12/30/2009

Let me start by saying the whatever you think you will ""save"" buying from the car is not worth the stress you will go through working with them. Secondly, they post positive reviews about themselves, just read and you will be able to tell. The word ""save"" is what they make you think you'll be doing, but in fact you will not save anything. Trust me, I read the bad review but still thought I can make a successful deal. Once you get there they will say yes to everything until you sign the papers, once you sign they have control over you. Everything you sign will be in their favor, basically they can screw you up and get away with it and your money. Do not make the mistake I made with the car shack, all I have experienced is very bad service, dishonesty and broken promises. Do yourself and your family a huge favor, ignore the good price you see and take your business and money to people who actually deserve it. I give one star because there is nothing lower. Pros: None! Cons: Waste of time, money and health. more

Worst Place to But a Car 9/13/2009

As we were looking for a car, we came across their site over the internet. We found a car that we were interested in, so we decided to stop by the store. At first it seemed the customer service was ok. (note: not one of the representives has a computer on their desk?) We ended up getting the car and so far the car seems to be a lucky deal. They are unorganized, have no form of management and have young kids running their office who are disrespectful and unprofessional. they asked me for another form of payment after I had given them a check and ended up having bothe forms of payment in their possession and wouldn't give me back my check saying they didn't believe I had the funds in my account and refused to give me back one of the checks. After I threatened to call the police they finally gave it back. Then a month later when the temporary license was about to expire they told us to come the next day for the permanent license. When we called they said they still didnt have it and could do nothing for. We asked for an extension on the temporary license because it was about to expire and they refused. After calling several times, they finally gave it to us. Like I said before they are not customer friendly and are only looking for a quick sale and could care less aboout your shopping experience. In addition another gentleman who purchased a car there came back to the store p*ssed off after finding out the car he bought was a totaled car that was put back together with various parts. Cons: Horrible Customer Service, Unprofessional more

The Car Shack in Hialeah FL is a scam!!! 8/3/2009

I saw an ad placed by ""The Car Shack"" for a Camry for $9700 on Carscom. I confirmed the price on the phone before I went to the lot. (I'd seen a review of ""The Car Shack"" on another site by an unfortunate customer of theirs complaining that they boosted a previously agreed upon car price by $3500. I decided to give them a shot anyway.) When I got to their lot I was told I had to put $3000 down on the car. I told them that was not a problem because I was going to pay cash for it anyway. They asked me what I thought the price of the car was. I quoted them the $9700 listed price, (which I had previously confirmed over the phone. This was the same car listed on Carscom because the VIN# checked out). They then came up with some ludicrous response that the $3000 down payment was a charge IN ADDITION to the $9700 Carscom price (huh?)!!! In other words, the car's price was now $12700!!! This confirmed that the previous review of their shady dealings was not a misunderstanding. Unlike the schmuck who allowed them to weasle out an extra $3500 over their agreed-to price, I walked out, and am doing my best to expose them to potential customers. People...if a car seller pulls a fast one on you, just walk out. Please don't encourage their unethical practices by allowing them to get away with this sh*t. Cons: They engage in unethical business practices!!! more
