We purchased a car at The Car Shack and ask for a car fax report. They gave us a Fake Clean Carfax report.They use two tecniches to do this. One the buy cars that had been involved in an recent accident so they can fixed and sell it quick, knowing that it takes about two month to show inthe Carfax report that the car had an accident. Or they show you a carfax for a similar car and change the Vin number...I purchase a 2008 Town and Country at this place and Alessandra and Ernesto did showed me a fake clean car fax report.My car has an accident with Airbag Deployment . more

I live at least a good hour and a half away from Hialeah, never was a big fan from buying any cars from that area... Usually I hear horror stories about buying a car in Miami, but I took the chance. And well I saved a some money buying from this dealership vs. the ones up in palm beach county area. The service was good, sales guy was down to earth no problems just told him my situation and that I'm not all into any BS talking just here to buy a car, he understood and we did business, I have no complains, also they had a descent amount of vehicles in their inventory. basically a car for everyone. Paperwork went through fast and easy, Prices were reasonable, and the car i bought runs and drives like any other used car just like what I expected. But other than that I guess I would buy another car here. But like I said I have no complains. more

FYI, the prices listed for vehicles they sell is actually the balance due afer you pay 20% down of a much higher price. This is the most blatent example of a ""bait and switch"" sales scam that I have ever seen. BUYER BEWARE! more

Just a heads up that THEY LIE about their advertised prices vs. what they actually cost at the dealership. I spoke to a guy about a couple of cars I found on Autotrader and after the guy gave me some used car salesmanship, he told me that the cars will require 20% down. I told him we would be paying cash and wouldn't require financing. After I finally pried the information out of him I found out that they advertise their prices 20% below what they will actually cost once you try to buy the car. I asked him if he thought that it was wrong and unethical. His response was ""Well that's the way we do it here"". HOW CAN HE SAY THAT WITH A STRAIGH FACE! Beware! If they are willing to start their relationship with you with a lie, they will absolutely screw you over down the road. There are too many other dealers out there to take a chance with these scammers. more

Many times in the car purchasing experience the entire process takes hours but at Car Shack they are professional and attentive. I purchased a car and they washed it, detailed it, and of course give it to me with a full tank of gas! I'm am very Happy! more

I have to say that the name is really misleading because they have really great service and quality vehicles. I purchased a 2008 vehicle that was almost new and in excellent condition. I checked it out in a main dealer and everything is right with the car! Oscar Viega the sales person was helpful and didnt try to price haggle so much. Then Jose Samiento the Finance Manager helped complete the process. All in all, a truly positive experience which I will recommend to anyone. more

I was impressed with the inventory they have. I found my Jetta with leather and I'm loving it (: I had the pleasure of working with Carmen which was the sweetest women I've even done business with, very patient and helpful. I like driving down to miami since up here it's pretty boring. They have a great location just 20 minutes from S. Beach which I have to admit was on my mind the whole time, lol. It was an easy ordeal since my credit is pretty great, not to brag, but I take my credit very serious, soooo you can say I had the car before I got there (: They got me a 5.1 % and my payments were right, I was happy and still am. FIRST AND FOREMOST THEY DO NOT DESERVE A RATING OF EVEN 1. THEY ARE BELOW DIRT TO ME. WE WENT TO BUY A CAR THAT WE HAS IN MIND AFTER SEEING THEIR POSTING AND PRICE ONLINE WHICH OF COURSE WAS NOT IN THEIR INVENTORY. THEY HAD OTHER CARS THAT WERE OK WE DECIDED IN THIS ONE VEHICLE WHICH WE REALLY LIKED. FIRST TRY WE DID NOT LIKE WHAT THEY HAD TO OFFER. AFTER BEING THERE MORE THAN 4 HRS THEY FINALLY CONVINCED US AND TOLD US EVERYTHING HAD BEEN APPROVED AND TOLD US WHAT WE WANTED TO HEAR. I ASKED THE MANAGER JESUS GOMEZ IF HE WAS SURE THAT IT WAS APPROVED BECAUSE WE DIDN'T WANT TO RECEIVE A PHONE CALL IN 3 DAYS TELLING US DIFFERENT. SURE ENOUGH THIS LIAR JESUS GOMEZ HAS HIS SALESMAN CALLS MY HUSBAND THREE DAYS LATER THAT THEY NEEDED TO TALK TO HIM IN PERSON. I CALLED AND JESUS GOMEZ TOLD ME IT WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING AND HE WAS TAKING CARE OF IT. WHEN MY HUSBAND ARRIVES THEY STATED THAT THE BANK NEEDED MORE MONEY DOWN IF NOT WE NEED TO PURCHASE ANOTHER CAR. IT GOT SO ESCALATED I HAD TO CALL THE COPS BECAUSE MR.TOUGH GUY (JESUS GOMEZ) GOT IN MY HUSBANDS FACE AND THOUGHT HE COULD GET AWAY WITH HIS LIES. WELL SORRY BECAUSE THIS IS GOING TO THE STATE ATTORNEYS OFFICE, CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND NEWS. I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW HOW MUCH OF A SCAM AND LIARS THEY ARE. more

I liked everything i got from them. Jesus was real and got me my charger i wanted and the rims put on are nice, I have all my people go here for when they want a nice ride. they have my business for life, they really did look out for a brotha. more

I found the Toyota Corolla I was looking for and it was a very clean vehicle. They accepted my refund check which made it easier since i didn't have to wait for the money to clear my bank. So far I have bought 2 cars already from them, the first car was a 2005 BMW 530I and the car was still under factory warranty the transaction was very smooth, they even gave me a ticket to fill up the tank of gas after my car ran out of gas the first time, the second car i got is a 1996 Nissan 300zx, and the price was very reasonable is a 2+2 model you can rarely find those in the shape that i got it, I would recommend them if you are looking for an affordable car !!! more

Sent them an email saying I wanted more information as well as a carfax for one of their cars (they claim all there cars are carfax certified). I also said I wanted to deal over email only first ( I hate talking to cars salesmen). A week later, no response. Finally they emailed me back telling me to call them. I sent another email saying the same as the first, that I didn't want to talk to a sales person over the phone, I wanted to deal with email so i could see everything written down. A few days later they emailed me back saying they don't deal over the internet normal because of to may scammers online. Are you for real? So finally I called them and talked to the receptionist. I said i wanted them to email me the carfax and wanted to talk to someone about the car. TShe said they would call me back once one of the sales people was available to talk. They never called me back or sent the carfax. I called again a few more times over the next few day and even left messages on the sales peoples phones but still no reply. I guess this place is a sham. I cant beleive this is a dealership. The best part is in there emails, they say ""The Car Shack is a 100% legit independent car dealership that has been around for 21 years making a name for ourselves"". ha. after reading the reviews, i now know why the never called be back. this place is a sham, praying on dumb people with bad credit. Its a sham... I would have paid in cash more

I will start off by saying, if I could give something lower as a star rating, I would have 10 times over. Secondly, the only five star rating they received is from themselves, go figure. The worse customer service I've ever been apart of. Disrespectful, and dishonest. I purchased a vehicle there to have it financed, few days later the bank calls to verify my information. To my surprise, the bank indicated that they were sending the contract back because the dealership put down on the application I make $5500 a month when I make roughly $3000 a month. That's when the situation gets nasty. They told me it was done that way to get a better financing deal. DISHONEST! I eventually had to call the police, the better business bureau, and my attorney. It took all that, and approximately 2 weeks to receive my refund! Unless you love head aches, AVOID AT ALL COST! more

Also what's strange is that we have not sold a 2008 Town & Country since 2010 and I ran Autocheck on the Vin #'s and none show up to have what you are claiming. We do not have any ""Technique"" since what you are claiming is Illegal and The Car Shack and I(Ernesto Jr.) would never allow Illegal activity. What you are claiming is False. They advertise a price and confirm the price over the phone. Once you get there they always add an extra 2000 or 3000 dollars to the price stating that the advertised price is subject to some ""qualifications"". I was stupid enough to make a deal with them on a Dodge avenger 2009 for 11000, but they made me sign papers that they later on added 1000 dollars in dealers fee and an extra 500 on the car price. They are not professional at all. Please stay way from them. Cons: all of them more

As you read the other reviews you will notice the change of price. I too have called to confirm a price on a car and told them if the $8700 dodge caliber SE was the final price not including the interest; So they gave me Their Word. After 30 minutes at looking at the nice car, one of the sales person came up to me and said that this car is $9000 but you need to put a $2000 down. ""HAHAHA!"" I laughed Vigorously and Walked out.
