This gym was awesome when it was Spa Health Club, sure the equipment was older, but managment was friendly. They purchased newer equipment. but when it breaks be prepared for a month or more wait. If they say something is coming soon when you sign up, don't expect to see it for years, if ever. I recently cancelled my membership because I moved. It's a several month process. They give you the run around, phone numbers that are always busy and don't respond to letters or emails. When you cancel definitly send the letter registered mail return receipt. Also make sure you keep them current on credit card payments,( this happened to my friend not me). If you miss 1 payment because you got a new credit card, they'll charge you the rest of your contract plus fees up front, no warning that something happened with the card and they need a new number, just a letter saying pay in 5 days or they are going to court. Another negative is that gym managment has nothing to do with the gym itself. The Gyms are managed by a company in Arkansas. If you do have an issue don't expect to ever get a response. So while the people at the gyms are friendly they have no power over anything. They just give you a business card for the managment group. Do a search on the web about their infamous ""We want more money letter"" where they tried to bill everyone an additional money outside their contracts to upgrade the gyms. No opt out, they were just going to bill the credit card on file. Beware member signup bonuses where you get 3 months free for refering a friend. You will most likely never see this. Search the web, there are a lot of negatives about this chain, and it's not just people like me writing reviews, it's news paper article about pending litigation because they commit so much fraud.
Pros: Ok gym, good hours
Cons: Horrible managment, hidden fees, takes months to cancel the membership
