Used Cape Fear Flooring and Restoration last month for some water damage I had at my rental property and they were spot on. The crew showed up at 8pm that night and worked until 2am without a break! When they left all ceilings that had fallen down from a leak on second floor were removed, all the water had been extracted and the drying machines were in place and running. \r When the repair crew came back to finish the job they told me exactly what needed to be done and how long it would take along with the price. When the job was finished and I was handed my bill it was $300 cheaper than the estimate. Not only did they save me money but they repaired my home and it is in better condition now than before the flood.\r I would recommend Cape Fear Flooring and Restoration to anyone! more

I have no idea why people put their faith in Cape Fear Flooring. I did in late August and 8 weeks later had nothing to show for my faith but a bathroom in worse shape than it was when they began. I finally had to tell CFF to jump in the lake. Within 7 days of contacting another contractor, my bathroom was ready to use. I will NEVER recommend Cape Fear Flooring to anyone for any reason. more

I can't imagine why there are negative comments about Cape Fear Flooring & Restoration. I had a severe flood at my home and from the very first call they were courteous and speedy. They arrived at my home and began the drying process immediately and took care of the insurance process as well. When it came time for repairs, their staff were very helpful during such a stressful time and understood how devastating such an event brings to a family. I received help from the knowledgeable flooring staff in choosing my new flooring and the installation turned out beautiful. I can't imagine not having this company on my side during this ordeal. NEVER USE CAPE FEAR FLOORING!!!!\r For those of you in the area, avoid Cape Fear Flooring like the plague! I am so mad right now that I can't see straight. First, it took me a week to get a quote, and that was after I called twice to ask for it. Then, the materials took twice as long as they said for them to come in; again I had to call twice to find out where our stuff was. THEN THEY ORDERED THE WRONG THING! What was supposed to be a 1-day project took NINE DAYS! And after all this, they give me a 5% discount, which the manager thinks is more than fair, and is twice what she was going to offer me. BEYOND PISSED!!!\r \r On a side note, the guys who actually did the work did a great job. If I could hire them without having to do any business with Cape Fear Flooring, I would. more

I was very unhappy with the service from this company! If you can find another company to handle your needs, do yourself a favor and DO SO! Office personnel flat out LIED about repair facts, the owner was uncaring about information, and they tried to charge US extra (by saying that our deductible was applied to what the insurance company was paying for!). They are totally unprofessional. The female owner is rude, thoughtless, and completely incompetent. We were given a specific qoute and when we talked with her the qoute mysterious doubled. We discussed several extenuating circumstances and were reassured that they would be taken care of. The day of installation we received a snappy, complaining, argumentative phone call that pretty much told us they could care less about our situation. On a positive note the laborers were on time, efficient and the Owner was a great guy who treated us like real people. The woman acted like we were the least important part of her business. If we had not been under strict time constraints we would definitely have found another company for our flooring needs. I will NEVER, EVER use this company again nor recomment them. more

I have had multiple jobs performed by this company in two different houses and have been pleased with the level of work that was performed. They have installed hardwoods, performed home repair and maintenance, refinished hardwoods, countertops, tile, remodel ed my half bath and every contractor did a good job. If I had concerns, one phone call and they were addressed to my satisfication. As far as the comments made by donewrong w about dishonesty and quality of work, I have not had that experience. more

Is wondering why from the over 7 different people she has dealt with at Cape Fear flooring in Fayetteville, NC she can never get the same answer twice and they seem to be perfectly content with putting doing a half ass job by not cleaning the floor and getting the glue off before they put flooring down. They never call me back and the only people who are good are the ones who fought for me to get the flooring I really needed but they got in trouble. What kind of business plan is that? more

I purchased my kitchen floor from this company and had them install it. They were very good and showed up on time. They did the work and cleaned up after they were done. more
