Thank you Olivia for writing your review because the same thing happened to us. I've been so upset how I was treated by Campbell Metal Supplies. I have never been treated and placed on a BLACKLIST. I've been in the machining business over 30 years and this is a first. No explanation at all after doing business with them since the 80's and before with Judge Metals. We would pick up and they would deliver but I must say we've had some problems in the past with material purchased from them in the past to us that would not run in our CNC machines and we would purchase the same type of material from another supplier and no problems. \r \r I called to try them again and give them the benefit of the doubt. I was told they have the material but will not quote since I didn't buy from them for awhile. Who ever says something like that?! I would have been willing to pick up and as my father use to say, any business counts! I would have paid cash, credit card whatever but was told her boss said she couldn't quote. Who would ever work for a company with such customer service?! I would be so embarrassed and ashamed to work for a company that has such a policy! In the past I always recommended Campbell Tool to my other machine shop friends and customers. I will never do that and tell them my experience. \r \r I would never purchase from somebody that would treat customers in that manner. Cash isn't even good for them! I am so upset but knowing Olivia had the same problem makes me feel somewhat better knowing it's not just our company. My family has always been faithful to our material suppliers for 30+ years. This one will go on my BLACKLIST and my customers will be advised to beware! If you treat a customer that has been purchasing material since the 80's this way, it's a NO for me!! I will go where I have good customer service and even it the price is higher that's ok with me if I'm treated with respect. \r \r After the horrible way I was treated I called several other material suppliers and I have my material and no Blacklist!\r \r Sad to find out how they treat their customers! more

Great Aluminum supplier. Even has a remnant area that always has what I need. Fantastic. more

***Be careful with this company as it sells a commodity our industry and others depends on, but the company itself is very unreliable and unpredictable!! *** We had a great business relationship for 15+ years. Our invoices were paid on time and we even used them as a credit reference. Then one day, Joseph Herr just decided he no longer wanted our business.... We would take price quotes from several suppliers but Campbell Metal Tools was our preferred supplier. On some items we would bring the quotes back to the Campbell Metal Tools sales team and ask if they could match the pricing. The sales person generally would have to go back and ask the president, Joseph Herr. Often times Joseph would match the pricing but apparently at some point he no longer wanted the business and placed the account on his ""NO SELL"" Campbell Metal Tools Blacklist. According to his staff, he instructed them not to sell to us. Now if he no longer wanted to sell to us ""on account"" that would be one thing but as a public company, according to his staff, he also instructed them not to sell to us even if we brought in cash!! All this and on top of it, his staff confirmed to our legal department that we were not the only customer on Joseph Herr's Campbell Metal Tools Blacklist, there are others!!
