I stored with Csi Mini Storage for five or six years at their Richmond location. They moved me in as part of a deal, first month free. The location is a kind of strange, industrial area. But they keep a good eye on everything, and they have good security. The entire time I was there, they were quick to answer any questions I had. They were lenient on the bill collection, giving a 14 day window, which was kind of nice. Not that I always needed it, but it came in handy sometimes. The only thing I had a little bit of trouble with was when they did renovations. They brought in other storage containers, and my stuff had to be moved to a new container. They did the moving, but my already confusing discombobulation of stuff got even more confusing. I'll forgive them for that though, since that was the only issue I ever had. more

Good service, good location, good price 3/20/2014

I'd recommend Csi Mini Storage! I used the Richmond location for about a year before I moved. Their service was good, and the guy there was always helpful. I had to get a lock cut off one time, they jumped right on that. They weren't the least expensive, but they weren't the most expensive either. The facility was clean, and I felt safe there. The container was high quality, and the location was convenient from both Marin and the East Bay. more

Csi Mini Storage has good service. I'm no longer with them, but I stored at their Richmond location for a few months. When I first went there, they seemed very professional, and the facility was clean. The guy came and helped me move my stuff in, which I thought was very cool. They were nice, and they gave me a good discount for a free month. Overall I enjoyed the experience since there was no hassle or anything. I would go back, and I would recommend them! They were very nice. more

Super professional 2/28/2014

CSI Mini Storage came and packed all my stuff into a truck and moved it into the storage unit in Richmond. They were all super nice and easy to work with, The facilities are clean. The only thing that is not a perfect score is that there is a lot of dirt that blew in under my door and landed on my stuff. It's not a horrendous amount but it would be nice if they had better seals on the door. If you have any valuables, plan for that. more

I'm very, very pleased 2/21/2014

I was blown away by the service at CSI Mini Storage. They were the only company that I found that provided the right size storage unit with power services at a reasonable rate. This was my first time using them and I can honestly say I am astonished at the quality of the services. The facilities are the most clean and organized that I've ever used. They really surprised me. I would definitely recommend them. more

Csi Mini Storage is the best value around. The staff is a top-notch group of quality people and they keep the place clean, neat and orderly. The service is great there, I met the owner and she is a lovely lady. Couldn't be better, they are awesome. more

My mother moved, so I inherited a lot of furniture and older items from her. Our friends had done research for storage spaces and referred us to them. We rented a space with them for 2-3 years at the Alameda location, the only reason we vacated was because we moved into a larger space and had more room. more

Straightforward service, excellent value. 2/20/2013

The interaction that I had with the people at CSI Mini Storage was very brief. It was just signing up and then termination. There was almost no interaction otherwise. When I went in to sign up though, they were professional and the place was pretty organized and pretty easy. One time I got two bills, one for my unit and one for another unit, but everything else was good. The main thing is it's cheap. It's definitely worth the price if you need to store something for a long time. more

I rented a 40 foot unit from Csi Mini Storage in Alameda. I used it for 2 months and got the first month free. So we only paid half price. It was cheap and everyone was cool. more

Helpful, professional 12/10/2012

My experience at the Richmond Csi Mini Storage was fine. I liked that they had a loaner truck, they picked up my stuff from home, and loaded it into my storage unit. This is the first time I've worked with them. It was easy, they were professional, trustworthy, and not creepy like some employees of storage units can be. more

I've used the Richmond location of CSI Mini Storage for some time now. They have very competitive prices, and they've always been professional and polite when I've dealt with them. There was some confusion once about a lost payment, and they very carefully went back over previous payments and resolved everything professionally. I'm very happy with them. more

Save Money Painlessly with CSI AND LET THEM MOVE YOU..TOO 11/13/2012

I needed to find a cheaper place to store our furniture and at the suggestion of my previous storage place in Richmond, I called CSI to inquire about their rates and services, much to my unbelief I was informed that they would supply the truck also the men and that I would have to do nothing. Add to this a 50 Off the First Months Rent. I was told by CSI that they would fit me into their 8x8 area and that I could save on that as well downsizing from a 10x8 to an 8x8, it worked and all of our things were moved into the smaller storage and we did practically nothing, the guys were great and the move was so painless that I was in shock. I recommend this place highly. I rate them a 20 not a 10! We ended up saving about 50 dollars per month. more

Great people, but tough location. 10/11/2012

Actually, I think the location is pretty far away from BART, and I can't just go with a rental truck every time, so I have to take public transit. Obviously, the Richmond location is very far away from the BART station, but when I moved out, I drove a truck to take my stuff. I lived very far from their location, and it was located in road construction, so even the taxi couldn't find a detour to the storage place, and we had to cut through the construction zones. It would be great if they had a truck, or somewhere we could meet, even if it was closer to BART, so I don't have to drive. It would be great for them to come meet me to do the paperwork, so I don't have to figure out my own stuff. The people there are pretty great. They even helped me when I moved out. I'm pretty satisfied with their services. more

Helpful, courteous, excellent teamwork, and great customer service 10/8/2012

I needed storage space, not for a lengthy time, but just for the time that my son was in college. CSI Mini Storage's effort to gain my business impressed me. They supplied people to complete the moving and their price was lower than their competitor I considered. On one occasion, I went in there and I had forgotten my key, but they helped me and it was not a problem. Norma Jean and the gentlemen who did the moving were all easy to work with and equally helpful. They all worked well together. The space was very useful and economically very good. I definitely recommend them. more

Csi Mini Storage in Richmond gives really good service. They are really nice to work with. I especially like the way they have late hours on Saturday. Sometimes, people are busy working during the week, and can't get to their things during the work week, so it's nice they have good hours. more

I've been a customer of CSI for 11 years, and at times I've had 2 storage spaces. Everything has gone really smoothly. I didn't have any problems with leaks or anything. Everyone has been friendly and professional, and they have even gone out of their way to help me out. more
