What an unbelievable experience we had at the Buttery! The food-superb the ambiance -relaxed yet beautiful service-expert the waiter was friendly and accomidating needless to say I told all my friends and can't wait to return more

The Buttery- Overpriced and Overrated 3/15/2006

The Buttery is a popular restaurant in downtown Lewes, Delaware. While the food is decent, the portions are small and the prices are extremely high. The menu is extremely limited and there is only one vegetarian option. The waitstaff are always rude and obnoxious, service is slow, and the general atmosphere is extremely pretentious. Unless you like high priced, mediocre food served in an uptight atmosphere, stay away from the Buttery! more
