I have been dining at The Buttery for years and have traditionally celebrated my birthday there along with other special occasions for several reasons. The two most important that come to mind is that John and his staff have always treated us as if we were family and then there is the food. Having dinner there is something that you will be talking about for a long time. The crab cakes are out of this world and their salad is so fresh, you will think that everything was just picked from the garden.
Pros: Everything you want for a special and relaxing dinner out
Cons: There is no such word when speaking of ""The Buttery""
