Rollercoster Coasting & Beer Toasting 7/23/2002

For out of town guests Busch Gardens has something for everyone and every age group. A great Kiddy land for the kids, rollercoasters and games for the kids/teens, informative and creative animal exhibits for the intellectual adult, and lastly, the Beer Tour along with the numerous Beer tastings make the visit perfect for an Adult who enjoys beer and good times. Pros: Close Parking, Usually not crowded Cons: Transportation insid, Need more shows more

Boring 7/11/2002

This is a great park if you like coasters. Animal exhibits have taken third place and no longer are a feature worth seeing at this park. The water rides are outdated and need a serious upgrade. Lines are usually long and there is a lot of cutting in line. Park is kept clean. Food is poor when compared to other parks. Childrens area is nice and has been updated with new rides. Pros: coasters, Good Parking, Childrens area Cons: Food, Little ride selection, Bad neighborhood more

This is a great park if you like coasters. Animal exhibits have taken third place and no longer are a feature worth seeing at this park. The water rides are outdated and need a serious upgrade. Lines are usually long and there is a lot of cutting in line. Park is kept clean. Food is poor when compared to other parks. Childrens area is nice and has been updated with new rides. Better going somewhere else 6/21/2002

I've lived in Tampa for about 14 years and I have been to BG plenty. When I was young there wasn't much to do, then they added new rides, but at the same time took a lot away. I can't say I would recommend this theme park for a good time. There's really not much to do for young adults. An older crowd of seniors may enjoy the shows, but I like going to a theme park to ride rides, BG has 2 roller coasters worth riding, and maybe a pirate ship, if it's running. more

    The Experience
    Three coasters serve as the park's anchors, including an old wooden one and an inverted coaster. Stomach not up to it? Enjoy the gorillas and the Edge of Africa safari experience. Some 2,700 animals roam the habitats until the heat takes its toll, making them sedentary in the afternoon. The Land of the Dragons playground for youngsters may inspire the young-at-heart to wish they could squeeze through the kid-sized tubes and slides. Less adventurous types can browse through the African-themed shops, cool off during a show, enjoy outdoor cafes or savor a hot meal in the family-style Crown Colony Restaurant. No need to count calories--you'll easily walk them off.
