Cinders not Cinderella at Busch 8/7/2002

We enjoyed our day a Busch Gardens, but won't return due to the allowance of smoking thoughout the park. We have been spoiled by Disney, where smoking is only allowed in designated areas. For a few more dollars a day, we'll drive to Orlando for the fun and fresh air. - RTM Pros: nice employees, decent parking, FL pass good idea Cons: crowded, smoking allowed, need more food choice more

Tampa Bays Theme Park offering fun & sun 8/7/2002

I moved to Tampa 1 year ago from the ohio valley region which boasts alot of fun theme parks. I am proud to say that I have the best theme park in my own backyard. Busch Garden's offers its visitors the best package in one park. Fast rides, entertaining shows, the most beautiful animal exhibits around, and great food to satisfy any hunger. This parks pulls out the stops to entertain the whole family! Pros: good parking, cool rollercoasters, terrific shows Cons: Parking fee is high, games are a high, could use more rides more

Busch Gardens is the best place for everyone in the family. The rideaholics will love the rollercoasters to the water rides. The younger kids will have fun in the Land of Dragons play area. Their is also many shows and attractions for the tamer members in your group who prefer to relax and enjoy their day. The ice skating show is great for all to see. The FestHaus is a good place for everyone to cool off, eat lots, and enjoy the daily entertainment. Also, for those of age, the Hospitality House offers the best tasting beer around!!! Pros: something for everyon, affordable specials Cons: crowded more

  • Overview
    What began as a brewery surrounded by colorful birds and gardens is now as one of the area's biggest attractions. It's not for the timid: roller coasters twist, turn and plunge, while water rides provide a welcome splash.

    The Experience
    Three coasters serve as the park's anchors, including an old wooden one and an inverted coaster. Stomach not up to it? Enjoy the gorillas and the Edge of Africa safari experience. Some 2,700 animals roam the habitats until the heat takes its toll, making them sedentary in the afternoon. The Land of the Dragons playground for youngsters may inspire the young-at-heart to wish they could squeeze through the kid-sized tubes and slides. Less adventurous types can browse through the African-themed shops, cool off during a show, enjoy outdoor cafes or savor a hot meal in the family-style Crown Colony Restaurant. No need to count calories--you'll easily walk them off.
