Okay Park 7/16/2003

Kumba, Montu and Kwasi were very good. Rhino Rally was very lacking. Montu was the only attraction open in the Eygpt area. more

South Africans Have Fun at Busch Gardens 7/16/2003

We had a fabulous 2 days at Busch Gardens in December 2002. We came all the way from SA and the whole family had a good time. The children loved the dinosaur part of the park as well as the ice show. The fest house's christmas show was magnificent. Lots of video was taken and will be treasured for ever. Until we come again - hopefully sooner than later. Letitia Lange (South Africa). Pros: Family Fun, Great Rides, Super Train more

GREAT PLACE 9/4/2002

Busch Gardens is a great place. I think with the Florida fun card there are too many people there now. The lines are long and the crowd is not the best. I love to visit and see the animals. My son loves to visit! more

Never Tire of It!! 8/24/2002

I have a FL fun pass now and even used to work in the Zoo area and I NEVER tire of going as a guest. They have two of my FAVORITE attractions: awesome rollar coasters and beautiful African wildlife. I really get my money's worth out of that pass! I must go at least 20 times per year! One thing though: employees from zoo, PR, entertainers and other higher paid positions are very nice and helpful, but gift shop and food service people (excluding sit down in Crown Colony) are notoriously rude and/or apathetic, although I guess if I was getting paid what they are maybe I'd be less than enthusiastic too. These are your front line people BG, as guests out for a fun day we want to see cheery, polite people!! Maybe you ought to pay these workers more then be justified in scrutinizing potential workers for quality. Pros: rides, the best parking, great animals! Cons: workers in shops rude more

  • Overview
What began as a brewery surrounded by colorful birds and gardens is now as one of the area's biggest attractions. It's not for the timid: roller coasters twist, turn and plunge, while water rides provide a welcome splash.

    The Experience
Three coasters serve as the park's anchors, including an old wooden one and an inverted coaster. Stomach not up to it? Enjoy the gorillas and the Edge of Africa safari experience. Some 2,700 animals roam the habitats until the heat takes its toll, making them sedentary in the afternoon. The Land of the Dragons playground for youngsters may inspire the young-at-heart to wish they could squeeze through the kid-sized tubes and slides. Less adventurous types can browse through the African-themed shops, cool off during a show, enjoy outdoor cafes or savor a hot meal in the family-style Crown Colony Restaurant. No need to count calories--you'll easily walk them off.
