good food 8/11/2011

I enjoy their food here. Lots of mouth watering flavor and I like the super fast way they get the food out to you, without feeling hurried. More accurately, I think I should say that the food comes out in successions, at the perfect timing. more

Asked for well done, received raw burger. 6/12/2011

We wanted a great burger and someone told us to go here. Service was slow and that was with very few people dining. We asked for our burgers well done and they came raw inside, so much so that we didn't eat them. We complained to manager who comped our burgers. Never to return. more

Good burgers, but overrated 4/12/2011

The Burger Bar is a good option that's not super pricey on the Strip (depending on what you order). They offer a good variety of burgers which are good but not the best in town and not worth the price. The environment is lively like most places on the Strip. It can even get too loud, so just be prepared for a loud noise level if your meaning to go somewhere for quiet conversation. more

Burger Bar-Overrated, celebrity chef restaurant 6/17/2010

I looked forward to having one of the best burgers in town and instead got fleeced for 20 bucks. I have no problem paying that price for something excellent, but if you're going charge 20 bucks it better be special (the burger at the Capital Grill costs the same and is excellent plus it comes with truffle fries). Their top of the line burger the ""Hubert Keller Burger"" was bland and the gourmet ciabatta bun was cold! The Sin City Burger at Smash burger cost under $10, was savory and the bun was toasted, buttery and wonderful! Pros: Good Ambience Cons: Average food at a high price more

Burger Bar: Made to order gourmet burgers 3/27/2010

The wife recommended this place because Giada De Laurentiis made a visit in one of her shows. It's a Hubert Keller restaurant if that means anything to you foodies. Basically...gourmet burgers made to order. They've got some preset burgers that run pretty pricey. Definitely liked the little booths with 7"" LCDs. It was nice watching tourney basketball while chowing down. Pros: Custom burgers; Booths with personal TVs more

Best Burger place in Vegas!!!!!!!! 1/6/2009

We went through this bar on New Year's Eve 08/09 after reading a review in the local paper, and were certainly not disappointed! It's actually a bit easy to miss this place, as it's off in the Mandalay Place rather than the casino itself. The layout is certainly like a sports bar, but the booths are really comfortable and contain your own TV, which enabled us to see the whole awesome Robbie Maddison display from the Strip in ease (Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oi oi oi!). Also, the beer selection is worth a look, with a huge imported display and range on draft. The burgers are custom made to your specifications, and the choice of toppings is plentiful and they give you the price per item up front. The portobello mushrooms were amazing, as were the sweet potato fries, and they got the burger right - I have had steak houses mess up ""medium-rare""! Also, save room for dessert, as the chocolate burger is amazing! Also, top marks go to the staff here; we rocked up on NYE with no booking, and only waited 5 minutes for a table; plus, everything came out correct and on time. Seriously, this is the best burger place I've found yet in the U.S. - definitely give it a go! Pros: Beer selection, burgers, chocolate dessert burger! more

Big juicy burgers, HUGE beer selection and great atomsphere 12/17/2008

I spurged and got the kobe burger adding bacon and blue cheese. My boyfriend had the hawaiian chicken burger. My burger was cooked to medium doneness as I requested and was extremely juicy and flavorful. It retained that soft kobe beef texture on the inside while having a nice consistant char on the outside. I ordered the sweet potato fries which were great, although maybe a little under seasoned which was easily fixed with a little salt. They have a great beer menu to go with their burgers- both on tap and in bottles. Pros: Yummy burgers!! Beer! Cons: none more

Value in Vegas WoW!!!! and a great burger too 11/10/2008

The 6-dollar buger on steroids 8/21/2008

We dined at the bar enjoying both the burgers and the Olympics. My boyfriend ordered the Kobe beef burger and I had the Black Angus burger. My boyfriend added all sorts of toppings such as cheese, potobello mushrooms, grilled onions, etc. while I kept things simple with some avocado. Both of our burgers were cooked perfectly (we like ours medium-rare) and were super thick, moist, and tender though the patties themselves were a bit bland. Brian at the bar was a great server. Even though I was delighted to see ""fat fries"" on the menu, which were great, we were surprised that we would have to pay 3 bucks or more extra for fries that usually come with burgers at other restaurants. In the restaurant's defense, however, the burgers are hearty and big enough to be a meal by themselves. We returned twice during our stay in LV and only altered our burger orders slightly the second time. Pros: Awesome, amped-up custom burgers Cons: Super busy during lunch hour more

Rude, unprofessional waiter 8/4/2008

I ordered a simple burger cooked medium (like I have ordered my whole life). What they brought me was almost raw! When I asked the waiter to take it back, he got an annoyed attitude and actually argued with me about what ""medium"" is, as if I've never ordered meat before. When it returned the meat was smashed and carelessly thrown on the bun. Who knows what they did to it in the kitchen. I was disgusted with the attitude of this server. A horrible experience! Cons: very loud more

Good gourmet burger 6/12/2008

We've eaten here more times than I can count. After reading another review I was surprised, too bad they got there on an unusually bad night. We've never had bad service or sub par food. I love making my own creation and true they are a more pricey than Burger King but, you get what you pay for. The dessert burgers are decadent and delicious. Pros: Good burger Cons: Gets crowded, uncomfortable with large groups more

Great place to get a burger 3/24/2008

My friend and I were staying at the Luxor; I really wanted a hamburger, and we just happened to fall on this place since it was so close. We went at lunch time. We loved it! The service was good, we were able to watch basketball games (first weekend of march madness), and our food was great. I got the angus, he got the ridgefield beef. As a note, Kobe is now 16.50 without any toppings (as opposed to Angus which is 9.50). I added carmelized onions, avocado, and cheddar. It was outstanding. And we got the zucchini fries, which were to die for. We both plan to come back to this place. One tip if you want to watch sports: all the booths have their own individual tvs so if you are interested, request a booth. We were at a table and while we could see the tvs at the bar, it would have been even better to be at a booth. Pros: Fun environment, tasty food Cons: Long lines at night; lunch is shorter more

NOT a Burger place... 12/14/2007

More of a BAR, than a burger place. Don't waste your time unless you want food that is served in a Bar, as an after thought. This is NOT a Burger place. They sat me down & immediately wanted my drink order. They seemed very Suprised, that I wanted to order some food, also. The burger choices were not as exotic as advertized, unless you want weird stuff on your burger, like ketchup & mustard. True, they had 8 differant kinds of Cheeses, but when you spend $12 on a meal (excluding drinks) & the best part of the meal is spicy french fries - IT is NOT worth the money. It took a LONG time to get my order (45 minutes, NOT during a rush time, 9 pm) the bun was stale & the burger cold. Maybe if your DRUNK the burgers taste better? I was not interested enough to try any their desert burgers. I was very disappointed! I have had better food at Burger King. Pros: Waitress was good looking Cons: If you want Burgers, go to a Burger place. If you want to get WASTed, this is a good place to drink & watch sports more

Great food, VERY bad service 11/20/2007

I had high expectations for this place.... Friends telling me great it was.... Customer reviews on this site saying how nice it was, but in the end it was the terrible,AWEFUL service I received that made it such a let down. First off do an early lunch or you will wait.... a long time. Next, don't sit at the bar on the far side. No one is dedicated to working that side. I was waited on by at least 4 different people and none of them came back to see if I need anymore help. I ordered a rootbeer float and was never afforded the opportunity to get anything else to drink. The menu is incredible and the options great.... I ordered the Kobe Beef with a little blue cheese, I wanted to keep it simple to taste the beef. Although I ordered medium-rare it was more on the rare side, not a problem for a true meat eater, but you should get what you want. It took a long time to get my food, as did others sitting on that side. 2 gentlemen sitting a couple seats down were just about to pay for thier drinks and leave. None of the waiters asked if we wanted dessert, which is just a doughnut cut in half with toppings, but it would have been nice to have the option. Lastly I had to yell at some poor guy to get his attention so I could pay my bill. No appologies from anyone and none seemed to care. Overall I would recomend going once but I would not return myself. Pros: Great unusual burger options..... lots of different toppings and cheese to add Cons: Service, service, service..... A little pricey for a burger more
