I was very happy with my Budget Blinds experience. As a very indecisive home owner, I really had no clue when it came to blinds. Eric came to my home twice to help me navigate through the process. He offered great suggestions, helped me assess the pros and cons of each option, and worked with me to find an optimal solution. I never at all felt as if I was being sold or rushed into a decision I did price some other options and the pricing was very competitive. The installers were both extremely friendly and professional. With the blinds installed now, I am really happy with them. They are high quality and look great. I would have given five stars except that after about three weeks when I contacted the office to find out about the status of my order, the assistant I spoke with said she'd look into it and call me back in a few minutes, but she didn't. All in all, I highly recommend doing business with Budget Blinds of Brooklyn. more

Eric was highly recommended by friends of ours who got great service and a great deal from Eric when he made blinds for their whole apartment. He came out to give us an estimate on blinds for just two windows. Because it was such a small and simple job it didn't end up making financial sense to go with custom-made blinds -- and that is what Eric told us when he gave us the estimate -- and then he gave us the name of an on-line site that would make more sense in our particular case. That's the kind of customer service I really appreciate. If I ever have a bigger or more complicated job I'll definitely call on Eric. He's terrific. more

Eric (the owner) is terrific. I would highly recommend them for all your window treatment needs. I am particular and Eric accomodated me the entire step of the way. Even after the installation when we ran into some situations, the company was quick to service. The workmen he has are also fantastic. They are very careful about not damaging anything in the apartment and are very courteous and polite. Don't count on anyone else if you need service and a quality job. more

With so many types, styles, options of window treatments out there, I was relieved that Budget Blinds assisted with the decision making process. Eric was professional, courteous and very helpful as he came to my home with samples to show, made recommendations and answered all of my questions. This helped me make my decisions rather quickly and was able to get my order completed before Christmas (about 3 weeks total). Louis, who installed all the blinds, is also fantastic. He was very careful with the installation and made sure he did not make a mess. We did have a slight mishap however, where the manufacturer shipped one of my blinds to another customer (location unknown), but Louis called the office and another one is to be made asap. Hopefully, it'll just be another few weeks, but given the professionalism and quality of service from Budget Blinds thus far, I would definitely use them again in the future. more

We had our blinds installed today. Louis and Miguel installed them perfectly and could not have been more professional or courteous. We are so pleased! Eric was wonderful to work with and I can't thank him enough for helping us with our selections. He had great suggestions and ideas. Working with Eric was such a pleasure. Eric guided us through the process I've never written a review like this but after having such a positive experience with this company I was happy and compelled to add my comments. We chose solar blinds (the cordless style for living room and continuous loop for dining room and guest bedroom), and cordless cellular day/night shades for the master bedroom. Their quality and craftsmanship is stellar. We could not be happier! I recommend Eric and his team without reservation. You will not be disappointed. more

Budget blinds put up a pair of venetian blinds in my apartment. The service was excellent - friendly, professional, and competent. It took two weeks from initial contact to installation, and I believe it would have been a bit quicker if my blinds weren't so long as to exceed UPS's maximum, necessitating freight transport.\r \r It may not be the least expensive way to get blinds installed, but it was a most pleasant experience. more

Eric was great at helping to guide us in the right direction for our window treatments. The installers were the most pleasant and well-mannered I've ever met (even put on protectors over their shoes when doing the work - which is huge in NYC). When one of the shades was damaged during a steaming, they took care of everything without blinking an eye. Wonderful service! more

Their prices, while higher than Home Depot, or Lowes, are not really expensive, and they have better service (they come to you with samples, so you can look at the room color and the blind). They also have a broad selection. So what was the problem? Shipping takes a long while (4-6) weeks. Also, we needed some follow up work to happen, but it took another 3-4 weeks. I would use them again in a minute. more

Get the consultation! Eric is a classy guy who puts his customer's needs above his own. He's honest, experienced and informative. He arrived on time, was courteous and professional. He came into our apartment, assessed our situation and when he learned price was a concern he referred us to a website that would let us install ourselves to save money. We're renters and have many huge windows, but simple installation. He then offered for us to call him if we had additional questions. He's someone you can trust who puts a high value on a job well done! more

Used these guys for installation of window treatments for several rooms in a new hi rise. Like most new buildings, the architect wanted lots and lots of glass and the result is stunning. Like most architects, they never thought for 2 seconds about how people would cover these windows. Not an easy chore. Eric came with a bunch of samples and suggestions for solutions to the problems. His prices were more than fair - my first call had been to Empire - now that was a real mistake. And most importantly, the installation was meticulous. Not only was the job done perfectly, but the guys who install were real pros - polite, accommodating and punctual. I have had them back once to adjust a small flaw and they did it quickly, cheerfully and made everything right! Check them out - I think they're the best! more

We cannot thank you enough for the superb job you all did providing and installing the shades in our apartment. We've been traveling, so I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner, but it gave us great comfort knowing that our belongings were protected from the heat and rays while we were away. We love the color, the streamlined size and motorized version of our shades.... Your installers were beyond professional, knowledgeable, conscientious and courteous.
