I just called Sear's to get someone to fix my washer and the person on the phone had no idea about repair whatsoever. She was in a call center. It was going to cost $75 and hours of my time just to get a diagnosis. So, I hung up and called Bruce. He answered the phone and in less than 5 minutes he diagnosed my problem and told me I needed a new washer. He didn't even need to come out. He explained what was wrong and how I could verify his diagnosis myself and he saved me the time and money of having someone come out and tell me that I needed a new washer. Thanks, Bruce. Smell coming from 3 year old refer of an electrical burn odor. Googled it and running guess was some control panel was fried. Knew it was going to cost me way too much, but what do you do? First call was to Bruce at 4 PM Thursday - based on reviews (even though not many) - and left a message. Didn't hear from him that day, so in the morning tried again at 8 AM - got him. Seemed nice, concerned, said he had to organize a couple calls before mine but would get back to me. Waited until 10 AM to see if he would call (didn't want this problem all weekend and was worried about even running the thing + might still have to schedule someone else) - called him, he was on his way. Bruce got here and methodically went through diagnosis process. After about 15 minutes he found the issue - something had leaked from the top refer part into the lower freezer area and onto the defrost coil. When that heats up it will burn everything up - and did - releasing a sickening smell (like burnt electrical whatever). Bruce cleaned it up, put it back together (even the parts I had removed to explore for the issue), and he was out of here in maybe 45 minutes - 1hr. For what he did the cost was totally reasonable - considering he could have said anything and I'd have bought it (your bulb capacitor needs new sparking fluid resistors). Refer is fine, bank account not drained, and I'm recommending this guy. Would totally call him back if something appliance oriented choked on me. When your 'fridge doesn't work, it feels like you are living in a third world country. Fridge crashed on a Saturday, Sears said they could come ""look"" at the issue for a mere $120...on Friday, nearly a week after we called. But Bruce, sweet wonderful Bruce, called me back at 8:20am on Monday and had our Fridge fixed by 9:30. Bruce ROCKS! In part because of his outrageously cool mustache, my husband and I believe he is a super hero! more

Bruce arrived the day after my oven broke. Polite, friendly, but most important knowledgeable about his profession. He replaced the oven sensor and checked the oven and showed my why it was still broken. He called for parts and price and will return tomorrow to replace my relay board. He recommended the oven sensor to be replaced anyway which he did today. As he was checking the oven I looked on the internet for prices of new built in ovens. The cheapest was 899.00!! I knew then I was going for repair. He will return tomorrow and fix my oven with the new part. I could not be happier and will refer Bruce to anyone needing his services. Terry more

Bruce is the man! Bruce was able to come and take a look at our dryer and oven the same day we called. He diagnosed the dryer and the oven and discovered the problem immediately. Bruce is way more affordable than calling Sears and his response time was incredible. I have his business card on my fridge and will call and refer him for any other jobs. Bruce is a great personable repair man. He is quick, thorough and fixed everything. My appliances work great now. He is very fair and affordable and we will be having him fix all of our appliances in the future. He replaced parts and everything on site from supplies he kept with him. When my washer broke I started calling around to see about service, and even checked citysearch... what I found discouraged me. It was looking like I was going to have to wait a week and pay a minimum of $100 to a company using a call service. Even the top rated city search listings had horrible reviews. Pros: Affordable, nice, open schedule Cons: Limits his service (understandably) to south king county and north piece. more

We called Bruce one morning because the dryer wouldn't heat up. He was at our house within 2 hours and had fixed the problem at CONSIDERABLY less than what I expected.
