The management team of Villages of Homeland West is nothing but a puppet for one man that owns 38 properties here. Jack "" just give me my rent check "" Millard and his 38 votes on all community matters have Brodie shaking in their shoes. If Brodie takes any actions against Jack ""your rent check cleared so everything is peachy keen"" Millard, he and his 38 votes might be enough to vote Brodie out come contract renewal time So any complaint filed against a tenant of one of his rats nests that he calls ""condos"" gets dragged out months and months. ( A complaint I filed in August of 2011 HAS YET to be resolved!! ) If you're one of those obnoxous little bastards from Loyola College who is thinking about renting here in your Senior year, just make sure that you rent from Jack ""the puppetmaster"" Millard...........you'll be able to raise holy hell around here and you will NEVER get in any trouble!! The Rules and By-Laws of the ""Community"" DO NOT APPLY to Millard and his rats. One hundred percent pure, uncontaminated fear on the part of Brodie Management. I have to say that she is incredible in the area of customer service. I recently had 2 seperate issues w/ off st. parking and she was wonderful to deal with on both issues. She responds promptly and goes out of her way to help. I know I have had issues with Brodie in the past and dreaded calling about any issues. She changed my opinion. (been there 9 yrs) more

The Absolute Pits in Property Management 12/17/2008

This is absolutely the worst management company I have ever had to deal with. I wouldn't even bother but the condominiums that I work for changed management companies and went with Brodie (why is beyond me). I never receive payments on time (at least a month in arrears if not more). No sense in calling them, you never get to speak with a human being and they never return your calls and the property manager does not have a clue how to manage. Pros: There are no pros. Cons: You name it. more

The worst company ever 11/1/2008

This is the worse company I ever delt with. They say thier accounts department really works if ""thier system"" is followed but it takes many frustrating calls and mails to get them to sort out simple mistakes thta shouldnt have got made in the first place. That's only if you lucky enough to get a hold of them coz they never call back. They cannot even impliment thier own ""thier system""! The whole condos lights were cut off because they didnt' pay the bills on time and then they blamed the company who built the condos! Wow. Just wow. I have put my condo up for sale and I won't buy any condo if it is run by this company. Don' t use them coz you'll be real sorry you did. Pros: thums down Cons: thums down more

AWFUL COMPANY: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! 6/7/2008

Atrocious firm--HORRIBLE customer service! Beware! It's staff are hard to reach--impossible during the weekend and during non-office hours when their answering service which is staffed by rude, argumentative operators who will not answer even simple questions is picking up their phones. When my lease with my landlord expires I will NEVER, EVER live in another Brodie managed property! If you are considering living in the Village of Queen Ann DON'T, especially if you have children under 18. \r \r I am an adult in my 40's with 12+ years business ownership experience in a customer service dependant industry. I have seen a lot of bad CS in the Baltimore area over the years but Brodie tops the list as THE WORST. Pros: Must have been the developments lowball bidder... Cons: Customer service is both worthless and frustrating! more

Good Service 2/10/2008

We residents expect instant attention to every need. I confess that I too expect personal attention every time I call and I tend to get frustrated if I call back and my converastion does not pick up where we left off and I have to repeat my story. Even though Brodie Management is a large company, they do follow through and deserve praise for getting results. Thank you team Brodie. Keep up the good work! more

Brodie has problem just like all companies, but the Property Manager at the Building I live in is the greatest. He will go out of his way, 24-7 to make us happy. He acts like we are family and treats us as such.\r Our problems become his problems and he finds the answers. He has turned the staff into hospitality quality. Quick response 10/23/2007

Recently my condo was flooding due to the unit above mine having some plumbing issues. I called in the afternoon and the person who took my call was patient (even though) I was upset and helpful. A plumber was out within a few hours and a carpet company came out to remove the water from my carpet. The next day a repairman was out to look at my damaged ceiling and bathroom fan and the repairs are scheduled. The customer service was good. Pros: fast response; problem solving more

Horrible, Horrible 8/9/2007

I am a unit owner of a condominium managed by Brodie Management. They are rude and unprofessional. If you have a problem, don't wait for a response from them for you will never get one. They constantly are making mistakes and don't seem to care at all about the properties they manage nor the people who put them in charge. You would be better to have monkeys manage your property. Cons: Everything you could possible imagine more

Terrible property management company 6/7/2006

This company manages a condominium property that I own. Their accounting is full of innacuracies, their staff surley and unresponsive. While I understand propert management is a tough job that is no reason for a total lack of customer service. \r \r If you are a decision maker I would definitely take my business somewhere else. more
