EDIT: The Owner has called me back and offered to refund the money for the refrigerator part and some of the labor. It is about the best outcome I could have hoped for.\r \r My fridge isn't fixed, they took my $408 and won't call me back. I called for a repair to my oven and the repairman, Dennis, got the part number wrong and didn't have the replacement part. I asked him to look at my refrigerator ice and water dispenser, since it was costing me $70 for the service call. I asked him to determine how much it would cost to fix and would approve the work if less than $200. He called me back in a week and told me he had the part which he thought would fix the fridge and the oven part and would come out to install them. The oven was fixed correctly but the fridge part didn't didn't help. He charged me $159 for the fridge part, $50 for the oven part and $122 for labor for this service call and told me that he would get me the other fridge part for free and call me back the next day. I finally called two weeks later to ask if he had the part and he told me he would get it and have the scheduler call me. After waiting another two weeks, I called back and asked to speak to Dennis' boss. Dennis called me back and seemed surprised that I was angry because it had been a month and my fridge still wasn't fixed. I asked to talked to his boss and one has called me back. It has been weeks. more

Do not use 5/21/2011

This place of ""business"" is totally unprofessional. As I type the second repair man is here saying the tech misdiagnosed and he doesn't know what is wrong. I have wasted an entire week waiting form these clowns to get their act together. Amy answering the phones doesn't know any answers to questions so now I suppose I am going to ask for my fifty dollars back for their original visit and never use them again. Owner Billl Krier really should get a handle on how his employees because they are destroying his business. Word of mouth travels fast and I Intend to be a part of that! One week Bill I have been waiting...iI will never use again! 6-17-2011. Just spoke with a Dave whom is supposedly the manager and he in short called me a liar. Not a good thing to do to a customer. I called several refrigeration repair companies to get an idea of cost. Broad Ripple Appl Sales and Service was by far the most reasonable. I thought it was worth a try and they were! My frig was fixed for a little less than they quoted and it's running smoothly now. I had this work done several days ago so I am certain it's fixed . So happy. I recommend this company. more

They were here when they said they would be. Their people were professional. Thought the cost was resonable.\r Had a dryer repaired and serviced. I will use them again. Pros: professional, price, efficient Cons: had to wait for part to be ordered more

Worst Business Practices Ever 12/29/2008

Broad Ripple Appliance was suggested to me by my mom for having good appliances for a cheaper price than you would find at other appliance stores. I went in and found the two appliances I needed for good prices and felt good about my purchase. I asked to have the appliances delivered and arranged for someone to be at my home when they were to be delivered. On the day the appliances were to be delivered, not only did no one show up, but they never called. When we finally called to find out what the problem was we were told that the delivery truck had broken down. I was upset, but arranged to have the appliances delivered the next day, once again no one came to deliver so when I called to find out I was told the delivery driver did not show up that day, I was told that someone would deliver my appliances in 45 mintues, but they did not know where I lived and had to Mapquest my address. I found this odd since they were to deliver that day.\r \r When I had arranged for the delivery I had also paid for installation, but when the deliverymen showed up not only did they not have all the equipment they needed, but they only installed half of the appliance. They said I would need some extra hoses to hook up the washer. They told me they could come back and install it, but I wasn't able to stay home from work again so I arranged to pick the hoses up on a Saturday when I was off from work. Needless to say, I picked the hoses up and connected them as the deliveryman had told me to do and water sprayed everywhere. I called to have someone come back out to install since they never did fully install my product and they are charging me a $49.95 service fee.\r \r This is one of the worst business transactions I have ever had and I plan on telling everyone I know not to use this store for their appliance needs.
