Worst Dental Office Ever! 3/25/2012

I would have to agree with all of the negative comments. This is definately the worst dentist office ever. Heck, I can't even believe any of the positive comments. They were obviously written by someone who works there (also note that they were written on the same day -- Just take a look... 8 - 5 star reviews on March 17, 2010). We had to goto BrightNow because they were the only ones to accept our insurance. The staff were rude and tried to push services that we didn't need. It was like they are more concerned about how much money they made. One of my kids needed a cavity filled in one of her baby teeth. After the appointment, the staff handed me an estimate for about $200 to fill it with a polymer. They didn't even mention that it would cost $5 to fill it with the silver. Why should I pay so much when the tooth was going to fall out 2 months later? Very good services 1/22/2012

Everyone, including Dr. Mazin, Johanna, and the entire staff, are to be complimented. Everyone is very professional, very friendly, and go far above and beyond the call of duty to make you feel comfortable and appreciated. The minute you walk in the door, you are made to feel like you are part of a big family, and everyone goes all out to make you feel like you are a valued patient. more

The visit I'm referring to was actually an emergency visit as I had lost a filling. They were able to take me same day, took me immediately when I arrived, and were able to refill my filling that day. I was very impressed and relieved! more

Very friendly 1/20/2012

Everyone was very congenial and friendly. They explained what they were doing as they went along. They make you feel like your important to them and they care about your dental needs. The doctor explained the do\'s and don'ts of what I should do afterwards and told me what he would be doing to my teeth at my next appointment. They seem to be very up to date with their technology and the staff knows what they are doing. This is a very good dental office, I would highly recommend it. more

Worst ever Dental Office. Absolutely do not return phone calls! Do not communicate any way shape or form with patients. Paperwork you sign let's them get away with anything they want and keeps them absolutely liable for none of their actions. Do not use this poor excuse for a Dental Office more

Crooked Car Mechanics of the Dental Industry 10/4/2011

20 years with no issues and I go to Bright Now Dental and am told by the female dentist I have 9 cavities after looking at my mouth for 10 seconds. Then out at the front desk the male receptionist also tells me I have advanced periodontal disease and will need to be treated every 3 months for life. Apparently their receptionist is so talented, he can build on the dentists diagnosis without looking at your mouth. He then gave me an estimate for over $3600 in dental work and started scheduling me for parts of it without even letting me get a cleaning first. I was so upset I got up at 2am the next morning and did some research on this bunch and saw how others had similar stories as mine at Bright Now Dental in Frederick. It has been about 6 weeks since I went there and I got in with a different dentist practice today where I got a cleaning. Guess what? I have Zero cavities and no periodontal disease!! I was told I should be flossing a little more but other than that they would see me again in 6 months for another cleaning. I wish there was more I could do than just write a review to let people know about these crooks. more

I took my 3 daughters to this office and was told by the staff dentist that each had a significant amount of cavities. We were told my one daughter had 9 cavities that required fillings. I didnt feel comfortable since she had just been to another dentist 6 months prior and no cavities so we decided to get a second opinion. We went to Dr Herrell on TJ drive and after another exam we were told that she did not have any cavities even after telling him Bright Nows diagnosis.\r I will never go back to Bright Now and will never recomend it to anyone! more

good office 9/5/2010

I have been a patient at Amber/Brightnow dental for several years. The office manager Johanna always helps me through my treatment and payment options, Her sunny disposition makes me look forward to my dental visits. The staff has been there several years and in my opinion very helpful. Dr Mazin is awesome. The only area I wish to see change is that you have to call back for your 6 month cleanings. more
