I have a longstanding relationship with Bridwell Automotive Center. Jack is phenomenal. He understands that I do not want to fix every little thing on my car. I want a car triage....

I've only been to Bridwell Automotive Center three times, and so far my experiences have been mixed. For the most part, I think that the people there are really nice, however, be aware that it does take them a while to fix things. more

Great company to work with. 8/15/2011

A friend first introduced to Bridwell Automotive Center about six months ago, based on their reliability, and being a trustworthy and independent shop. I had gotten one estimate from another shop, and went into Bridwell for a second estimate. I saw Jack, the Service Manager. I didn't do it so much for the price, that turned out to be the same, however I did it to see if the diagnosis was the same and it was. I went ahead and got the work done along with some other major work too and they have done a terrific job for me! They are on time, fair, honest and stick with the price they quote you. They are a really good company to work with, they do great work and they offer reasonable prices. I'd highly recommend them to anybody! John McNeil more

I have been very happy with Bridwell Automotive Center. 7/1/2011

I have used Bridwell Automotive Center for a couple of years for a number of repairs on a couple of different vehicles. I have been really happy with everything. I have found them to be very honest and trustworthy. They are straightforward with all their pricing and the cost, as well as the timing for when the vehicle will be done. I haven't had a problem with any of their work, and I have been very happy. more

We've been using Bridwell Automotive Center for about three years or so. I had bought an old truck off a friend for my girlfriend to get back and forth to school and to lug a bike around in back. It was almost perfect, except for a few things like the front door not closing correctly and a few other things too. I took it to Bridwell. They were able to fix it and maintain it consistently for the time she was going to school. These were things, other shops wouldn't touch! We usually deal with Jack and think he's great! The truck was finally coming around and was almost perfect when, with only two days of class left, my girlfriend was driving on the freeway and it completely powered down on her. It took us a while to get another truck. We found one where the price was almost too good to be true. We took it to Bridwell to be checked. Jack was honest with us and changed what needed to be changed and let us know what needed to be fixed. He gave it a good once over for us. They worked miracles on the first truck so we completely trust them with this truck and will continue to take it for service to Bridwell's! Randy Rainbolt more

Honest and trustworthy. They work magic. 6/20/2011

I have a 1972 Buick Skylark, and Bridwell Automotive Center work on it for me exclusively. The mechanics I normally deal with, Jack and Sid, have that car running like it's brand new. I went to other places before I found Bridwell, and wasted a lot of money without getting results. After three visits, and about a third of what I though it would cost, Bridwell have worked magic. The experience was so great, that I now take my four other cars there, as well. The people at Bridwell are always really nice and personable. I feel like everyone there has a lot of honesty and integrity. They are really open, and will take you back to show you the parts they're putting in, if you're interested. They have worked hard to earn my trust. Bridwell is great, too, because they are a one stop shop. If you need something they don't specialize in, they are networked with other custom shops that they'll take your car to, without you having to do a thing. I know they only use people that are at least on their level, and can rest assured. They have a complete detail shop on site, too, and my cars always sparkle when I pick them up. Quality, integrity, customer focused. 2/18/2011

We are happy with Bridwell Automotive. They do the work within the time frame they say they're going to. They usually tell us what the problem is beforehand. We know the guy that manages the service area. He's got integrity. And Lane has been very helpful when he's been there. He is very customer oriented, and very helpful. We love the gas station! It's like an old-fashioned one, where they do all the maintenance on the car, put gas in, and put air in the tires, even if you don't pay for gas. The servicemen are like bees around honey. I really like the fact that they have American oil. Sure, you pay a higher price, but the quality and responsiveness from all the people that work there makes it worthwhile. more

They are easy to work with, and I trust them. 2/16/2011

Bridwell Automotive Center has treated us very well. I have probably used them for 4 or 5 years, and they have been very easy to work with. I now know Terry, Lane, and Jack, and I trust that when I bring my car in they aren't going to try to oversell me on what needs to be done. They will repair what is needed honestly. One thing that we weren't aware of at first is that they do work on more high-end cars as well. With the mechanical training they have, they can work on other vehicles besides just the standard American cars. We can use Bridwell Automotive instead of going to the Porsche dealer. I have had no complaints with the work they have done for us. They always call before they do repairs to let me know what they have found. Everything is then done, and we haven't had to bring anything back to them after they fixed it. more

Bridwell Automotive is a phenomenal auto shop. I really appreciate that it's a family run business with a true hometown feel. Whenever I go there, I'm greeted like a really good friend. The services they provide are outstanding. They offer rides, fast towing service and are so easy to rely on whenever the need calls. I never feel stuck or afraid, knowing they're on their way. The work they provide is amazing. Everyone there is incredibly hard-working, trustworthy and dependable. The quality of work is obvious. They are efficient, thorough and genuinely concerned about the safety of their customers. They are always willing to work with you too, and are very flexible and giving with their time. This is a truly superior auto shop. They are incredible, I can't sing their praises enough! I highly recommend their services. more

You can trust Bridwell Automotive Center. 2/14/2011

I am very lucky that I have lived in the area where Bridwell Automotive is located for a long, long time. I am older, I am in my 70s, and they will sometimes pick me up or bring me home. They have cooperated in every way to make it convenient for me. The quality of their work is just fine. I have an older Range Rover, so some parts take a few days to get in, but they have access to all those locations. You can trust them. more

They do a good job. 10/26/2010

Bridwell Automotive Center takes care of all the cars we own, so 6 cars, whether it is a GMC pickup or a Mercedes Benz. They handle it all, and I have never had a problem. I think a lot of people who drive higher-end vehicles believe they have to go back to the manufacturer or the dealer, but the guys at Bridwell Automotive do a good job. Whether it is a Range Rover, Mercedes, or any of our American cars they are good, so give them a shot. more

Extremely professional and very attentive. 10/18/2010

I have been going to Bridwell Automotive Center for about 11 years, and they are the first place I think to take my car when it comes time for service. I moved way from the dealer 11 years go and I have gone to Bridwell ever since. I have had them do everything from major engine work to standard car maintenance. They are quick to assess your needs and they get the car repaired in a timely manner. more

I have been using Bridwell Automotive Center for 3 or 4 years now and they have been very honest and upfront about what work needs to be done and what doesn't. They are one of the good guys. I initially decided to use them after doing some research online and getting recommendations from other people. Bridwell Automotive was very highly rated. Even though I live in Mesa and they are in Scottsdale, I drive the distance just to go to them. They did the suspension system on my SUV and also have done repair work on my daughter's older vehicle, from the heads that needed to be machined, to the gaskets, timing belt, and water pump. I appreciate that they take time to show you the problem with the car when it is up on the rack. I had taken my daughter's older vehicle to other, national transmission shops, but found that Bridwell was a lot less expensive. The car did not end up needing all the things that they wanted to do at the bigger shops. I trust Bridwell and they have never steered me the wrong way. They are very fair and knowledgeable. Also, their employees are always going back for more education to keep on top of things, which is important. more

Excellent, dependable service. 10/14/2010

I think Bridwell Automotive Center is excellent and their repair work is good. I initially started using them because I did not want to go through the dealer. Bridwell was convenient and had been recommended to me. They have done all kinds of work for me, including major repairs on my daughter's car and a major re-do on my own, older vehicle. When anything goes wrong, we take it to Bridwell. I feel comfortable that they are doing the work correctly and that when it's fixed, it is really fixed. Intelligent people who know what they are doing. 10/13/2010

My experience with Bridwell Automotive Center has been with two older cars that they took care of for years and years. One car belonged to me and one to my mother; they are both gone now. They were always quick to take the car in when I needed something done, and they are all friendly. I know everyone at the shop. Bridwell Automotive Center is relatively near where I live, and they give me ride home and pick me up. That is not the usual thing for that type of an outfit, because they aren't a dealership, and I don't always expect that from a smaller mechanic. They are very competent and pretty fast. They know what they are doing. Of course the cliché adjectives, like reliable and honest, apply to them as well, but they are very intelligent people who are friendly and good to customers. If there are issues they get on it right away and tell the customer what is up. Now I have a brand new car under warranty, so I am not going to Bridwell, but the day will come when I will use them again. I always recommend them. more

Our experience with Bridwell Automotive Center has been generally very good. I have been using them for over 10 years. They have performed all of our routine maintenance as well as repair work such as air conditioning and suspension. The only real problem we have had was when they lost the keys to my son's car once, but that was resolved. I think they are very competent and professional. more

Top Shelf Customer Service/ Made me feel at ease from them minute I walked in the door! 8/22/2010

Since recently moving to Scottsdale I didn't have any knowledge of a reputable repair shop. I have been listening to Mark Salem on the radio and decided to check his website out. Bridwell Auto Center was recommended by Mark Salem so we decided to have them fix our front rotors, brakes, and balance our tires. Everyone from Jerry checking us in to Jack calling me every step of way was a complete pleasurable experience. They are an honest, down to earth company that cares about their customers. True customer service! They have earned my business in the future! The car works fantastic! more
