Bridal Mart

This has been a nightmare. We received the bridesmaid dress for my daughter and it was extremely small--3inches from the zipper meeting in the back. When I called the manager, Julie, she stated that the size chart indicated with my daughter's measurements she should have a size 8-10. Yet, Patrice at Bridal Mart recommended a size 2. Julie insisted Both she and Patrice "never make mistakes" and insist we were advised to order the 8-10, but we chose the 2 against their advice. We were never shown a size chart--all ordering was through Patrice's recommendations. They will not compensate us, or make it right, so now we are on the hook for $150 for the dress, $35 for rush order, and $140 for alterations as the dress will literally have to be re-made to get it to close. the staff are rude, unprofessional, and dishonest business people. Do NOT use this store for your special day. I know they've ruined it for us. more

This store has the biggest selection of bridal gowns in the state as well as a large selection of bridesmaids dresses. They also have a decent selection of mother of the bride dresses, shoes, tiaras, and veils. There is also tuxedo rental on premises. They have the lowest prices around and can order many dresses even if they don't carry them. They have great large mirrors and a helpful and friendly staff. The negatives are that it is crazy on the weekends with so many brides, the dressing rooms are open so you don't have privacy from other women also trying on dresses, and their alterations ladies are horrible. I bought my wedding dress at Bridal Mart, and if you’re saving money but want something lovely, this is a great place. Don’t expect royal treatment. There’s a communal dressing room without any cover and then just a huge mirror outside it for everyone to use and look at themselves in. Their people are very helpful and if I hadn’t listened to the lady helping us, I would have left without having seen/tried on my lovely wedding dress!!! The amount of stuff is a bit overwhelming, and the disorderliness is, but you get such great deals that if you have time it’s extremely worth it. The dress was quality and the only mistake was in shipping, which I think was FedEx’s fault. I’d recommend this to anyone. more
