I wish I had seen these reviews prior to buying my Groupon! I purchased the groupon for a chiropractic exam and massage.\r My first visit for the chiropractic part was just x-rays and talking. Then I had to come back the next morning to review my results and have my first adjustment. At this meeting they assured me they had already talked to my insurance and they were going to cover all expenses. Not sure how they were able to do this when my first appointment was at 5pm and my next appointment was at 7:30am the following day. I was skeptical as I work for a hospital and know how the insurance game works and they rarely pay for chiropractic care. My suspicions were confirmed when I received a $900 bill later! I called Dr. Sanford and he tried to tell me he's being doing this for years and it's just the game that insurance plays. I told him I work for a hospital and I know how it goes as well. I attempted to return some of the devices he had given me as I had not used them. He told me no that there was a signed agreement saying I couldn't return anything.\r Also I've been trying for 2 months to schedule the massage and no one will call me back even though their voicemail claims they return calls in 24 hours. I've left probably 10 voicemails and called at all times during the day, no response. Please save your money! more

They are as crooked as the backs they are suppose to fix! They tried to tell me that the guy who basically electrocutes you to check for blood clots/pinched nerves ran away and he with patient's money. He even went so far to say they would sue him. I called the billing company for that man and guess who didn't run away! more

Caution... Stay Away!!! And definitely don’t give them any of your personal information. I bought the groupon for chiropractic care and a massage. Dr. Sanford seemed really nice at first and they even talked me into a treatment plan. I gave the care a chance, but it really wasn't making a difference. I quit going and they decided to go ahead and bill my credit card for $355 without my authorization. I called and the receptionist explained that it was for the remainder of my treatment plan that I was no longer going to. I asked to speak to Dr. Sanford who was apparently too busy at the time to speak with me. I called several times and even asked if I could make an appointment to talk with him. Finally, I just decided to go down there. When I got there, he tells me he’s working on payroll and doesn’t have time to talk to me. I ask him why in the past 3 weeks he hasn’t been able to find a time to talk to me. He then shouts (yes he is literally screaming) that I better leave his office immediately or he’s going to have the receptionist call the police to escort me out. He continues his shouting until I just responded with thanks for showing what kind of stand up business you run and walked out. Don’t put yourself through this. There are many better options for chiropractic care. more

I have been a patient of Brentwood chiropractic for going on 6 years. My lower back will go out 1-2 times a year so bad I can’t walk. Dr. Sanford was nice enough to meet me at another office where they do spinal injections to make sure I got the care I needed. He was able to get me a very nice back brace that provides immediate relief when it flares up. When you can’t walk it is very scary. I would recommend him to anyone as he actually cares that you are in pain and his actions show it. more

I had neck pain for a very long time. I had seen an orthopedist who recommended surgery. A friend told me about Dr. Sanford so I decided to give it a try. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I found out I have a disc problem and spinal decompression was recommended. After a few sessions, I could definitely tell a difference. The numbness in my arm that had bothered me for so long began to disappear. I could move my neck better and the pain was definitely less. Don't be fooled. This practice is a blight to the medical profession. I don't know who should be held accountable, the negligent office staff, or the doctor who doesn't seem to know what's going on in his own office. I purchased a living social coupon, and loved the first visit enough to invest in a ""package"" that would help my condition. When I had to stop treatments because of relocation, they refused to refund my credit, and didn't return my calls for 2 months! I was left with no other option than to file a claim with my credit card company and insurance. Don't buy into that southern charm, because you'll get charmed right out of your money! more

I bought a Living Social deal for an Chiropractic eval and 1hr massage. OMG!! What a deal!! This is a crazy deal that would have cost so much more had I done separately and I am out of pain now!!! I have young children and a demanding job so, now I finally know what was causing my pain but have top care to correct it and do not search for massage deals anymore either. This is your one stop shop for headaches, mid back pain, jaw pain, numbness in hands of which I had all. I am pain free and know the causes. Most doctors leave it up to a medical assistant to educate you on the how's and why's or a nurse in a hurry. This office took ample time while always working with my schedule and I never felt rushed. It did take a few weeks to get in for the massage but, I receive courtesy calls that just as soon as slots opened from their LMT's I would be next. AHHHH!! It was awesome too, but now I can not end up right back where I started from the bodyworks package Dr Sanford offered me and my family. He is a super Doctor and shows a lot of compassion. He listenend to all of my complaints and had staff help even on unrelated issues. I love this office and would recommend anyone who wants to feel better all of the time to call asap. They have me feeling super and no more Advil all day long! That is a first. Thank you to all of his staff and anyone reading this know that this office is busy for a reason: They are GREAT!! more

Yay!! I got a massage and I am in no more pain after the doctor treated me. I am so glad that I bought the massage deal online!! I thought massages were helping, but thanks to the detail of this great staff I now can just enjoy an occasional massage, but my pains and aches were from something more serious that another doctor wanted to hastily do surgery for and had been dumping loads of pain medicine on me. I am out of pain, feel very confident in this office and thank goodness I did not go on with the surgery I did not really need. I have never had a doctor act like they really cared if I felt better and paid just attention to me as this one. I am doing great now!!! Thanks to all the staff!! more

I had lower back pain for 10 plus years. After going to my Medical doctor who refered me to a physical therapist,takeing medication with no help, I went to this clinic. The staff was very friendly and knowlegeable, and the doctor spend alot of time evaluating my back. I went through a treatment program and now my back pain is totally gone. They Rock!!! more
