Mitch came out to our house on Dec. 14, around 4:45-5:00 to relight the pilot light to our fireplace insert. He was friendly, did very well with our dog, who loved him, and explained what he was doing as he took care of the pilot light. I told him I wanted to watch and he agreed that it was fine. He cleaned the point where the pilot light should flame from. He explained it was dirty and then told us about Bratcher's cleaning fireplaces for only $40. He also explained it could be added to a contract if that was what the customer had. He got the pilot light going within about 7 minutes and set the flames at our desired height. I liked his friendly, confident nature. I felt he knew what he was doing. Hopefully, we will be able to have him come out in the future for maintenance on our furnace and air conditioner. more

I had some foundation work done this spring. Bratchers had put in both a new air conditioner and heating system in the spring of 2011. I had the "check-up" for the heating system this winter. After cleaning the filter, they....oops...had forgotten to turn on the humidifier. The work area was left messy, technician was unfriendly ("he had been Ill"), and was unable to answer my questions. When I replaced my air conditioner I hesitatated before calling Bratchers. Both Dan and Brian assured me the work would be quality. More disappointment. The service tech was new.........and a couple of things had to be redone. When working with my contractor, timing was everything. But yet it wasn't........the tech who was to reconnect my air conditioner tried to charge me a full hour that he was Not at my home. There was confusion all around! Finally the contractor sent over someone to get things in place. The re-attachment of the system was done with electrical tape and looks as though my first grade more

We got back from vacation and our furnace was not working. It was 10 degrees outside and a Saturday evening. Someone came over right away and fixed it! Even though the call was after hours and the technician had 6 other calls to go to he was very friendly and knowledgeable. The bill was reasonable too! more
