Boulevard Subs

What a great sub shop. I have been a visitor to a diffent sub shop on the beach for years since highschool. I found Boulevard about 5 years ago and they are a once a week stop for me. They are always consistant and very nice people. Marco at the shop is a nice guy. I think the peple who commented below must work at the old place i use to go because there comments just done make sense. more

The best sub I have had outside of NYC. All top quality ingredients, great fresh flavor and the service was quick and friendly. An added plus - the place is SPOTLESS! \r \r Don't miss it! more

I am very upset with this company. I have been coming to this place for over 4 years.. I stop driving a truck and start working in the office. They have been deliverying to me in the office for over a month. Yesterday i ordered they called me back and told me that they had run out of meat to make my entire sub..asked if i would take a small instead of the large..ok no problem. So of course that changed the price. When the driver got here he did not tell me the new price. I gave the driver the money for 2 large subs and a $2 dollar tip. He did not tell me any different on the price. I called up there and advised them what the problem was. When i called back today to order my food they said oh we dont deliver to you. I asked why not they have been for over a month. There response was the driver was upset that he had to come give me the extra 5 dollars back. Really the company wont deliver to a 4 year customer because they didnt have enough meat to make sub, and the driver didnt tell the new price when he arrived. Nor did he check the price on the ticket, nor did he check the money that was giving to him..... Pros: good subs-- more

I just called for the first time to try one of their sandwiches. Here's how the phone call went: a nice girl answered and was taking my order. I was put on hold 4 times in a 30 second increment. They're busy. I understand. It's lunch hour. Then a guy (I'm assuming the owner) answers the phone and says ""Whattya want?"" I repeat my order and ask to please leave one side plain, and one side with everything. He says ""Yeah well that's a pain to do, but whatever. Fine. Bye."" Are you serious?? So much for trying to impress a first time customer. I give this place an ""F"" for attitude. The delivery guy was nice, but the sandwich was just OK. I have been a fan of Boulevard's Subs since I was 12 years old, now 32. Wow! I love the fresh bread, the hearty helping of meats and veggies, the chicken salad sandwich is one of my favorites and even the salad's are great too. Fast and Friendly Service. You should stop in and see for yourself why I have been a customer for 20 years and counting. Pros: Better Than Subway...Anyday! more

Been going here for over a decade.Service is quick and the owner Marco is always friendly. I always get either the large or med. Italian sub with some chips and a bottle water. Never had a bad experience. Also the place is very clean. Remember to tell Marco, Dan sent you and Stay Hungry! more

I stopped in to bouluvard subs while on my lunch break. Got a great Italian sub made by friendly associates with great service. The bread was fresh and the meat was stacked up and I sat inside infront of a beautiful mural that made me fell like I was in a plaza in Rome more

Our business has frequented Boulevard over the past 4 years. We've had countless individual sandwich orders, and countless large orders for office meetings. We have spent hundreds, perhaps thousands of dollars on Boulevard Subs. \r \r Today however, we realized how insignificant our business has been to Boulevard. We called to put in a sub order. The lady immediately put us on hold after answering. We ended up holding for over 25 minutes (not lying-our phone timer said that.) Turns out, they completely forgot about us. Ok, so a long time customer of yours is mistakenly put on hold for almost a half hour, and still likes you enough to stay on the line--what do you do? Well the manager apologized sincerely, and then offered to buy us----wait for it----a FREE BAG OF LUNCH SIZED POTATO CHIPS!! Yes, a whole free bag of 10 potato chips just for us to enjoy together. We waited till the delivery guy got to our business to see if they were serious--we said "are you really going to make us pay the $8 bucks for our sub?? Yes. They were. \r \r We called the manager back to express our surprise that such a long time customer couldn't even get a DISCOUNTED $8 sandwich after waiting for it for an hour. He said---(are you ready for this?)-- "Well at least I gave you the free chips!"\r \r Our business relationship with Boulevard has officially ended. It is such a bad business move to brush off a long-time customer and make us feel like we're only worth a free bag of chips in tough economic times such as these.\r \r Are their subs good? Yes, pretty good-but not the only good subs in town. We just found Pinho's subs and bakery on Andrew's Ave., and we feel they blow Boulevard right out of the water. We feel that it's our responsibility to let other customers know our honest experience with this Boulevard Subs. Consider yourself warned. more
