After the basic inspection of the air conditioning performance of this vehicle, the techs discovered that A/C Compressor will not hold pressure. Their recommend was to replace the A/C Compressor, Expansion Device, Condenser, and flush the system out. After discussing the cost, which was anywhere from $1,100.00 thru $1,900.00 it was determined that the vehicle was becoming a money pit of future repairs. The Bolger Brothers, both of them, along with myself decided that vehicle had to go to a wholesale lot to be a auction off. The owners of this repair shop, along with the mechanics are down to earth and hard working people. Just like any owner of a vehicle that needs high cost repair which isn't a good investment or out of pocket money. My Ford Ranger was having clutch problems and couldn't swift into gear to move forward. The check engine came on which increase the degree of mechanical problems. I decided to have the vehicle towed to Bolger Bros. Repair Shop on Saturday after the shop closed for the day. I placed the keys in their drop window slot and left a message about my vehicle problems. Monday morning, Dale contacted me, via telephone, and asked for additional information of the Ford Ranger. After a brief description of the problems I had with the vehicle, Dale indicated that he would have his Mechanic check it out and fine out what was wrong with my vehicle. The Mechanic, Hector, download the data from the ECU, which indicated a lean code, test for a vacuum leaks This procedure indicated the Idle Air Controller is leaking. My previous visit to the repair shop, the Idle Air Controller was replaced due to the same problems. They replace IAC under Warranty. Retested for further lead codes. Repair Completed at this time. A new clutch kit was installed, to repair the shifting problems. This includes a New Pressure Plate, New Clutch Disc; New Throughout Bearing, and a New Pilot Bearing. Also the Clutch Slave Cylinder is Leaking. Replaced. Flywheel was blue in color, meaning, it was wore out and at some time it got hot. Replace flywheel. The Repair of my vehicle was complete and back on the road thanks to Bolger Bros. Shop. more

Previously, at 149,204 miles I had the mass air flow sensor and evap. flow sensor replaced which the mechanic detected using the ECU. This was reason for the check engine light came on. It seem to fix the problem. After driving the truck for a few weeks, I notice the that the engine ran rough and didn't have power at times. This didn't occur all the time, but I knew something was mechanically wrong. After a few more miles the check engine light came on once again. Return the vehicle to the shop with the mileage of 149,409. The mechanic utilized the ECU device which retrieved the engine was running rich, Catalytic Converter was plugged. Causing the power to be sluggish. Spark Plug #4 had a hair line crack, spark plug wires were arching, due to age, and the Idle Air Control motor was leaking vacuum, This caused the engine not to have consistent idle. So, all these old parts were removed and the new parts were installed. Drove the truck home and notice a remarkable different of power and the idle was smooth like it should be.
