It's so hard to find a decent spa in the area that isn't overpriced and gives you a crappy experience. At Body and Mind- it's a perfect spa for me! Very friendly staff, great prices, and it has all the amenties you would want. They take the time to make sure you are happy with your experience. They don't rush you in and out like a lot of other places. I've been there for a facial and nail appt. and both were great. I would definitely go back! more

Body and Mind Day Spa is the best spa in queens. It is very clean and everyone makes you feel very comfortable. The decor makes you feel like you are right at home in your own living room. I've had many facials and massages there and would definitely recommentd this place. Gift certificates are also available. It's the perfect gift for someone special who loves to get pampered. You feel like you are away on vacation when you go to Body & Mind Day Spa i give this spa five stars...............there is no doubt about that.. more

Wonderful relaxation 11/23/2008

I have been to this amazing spa a few times. The last time I went i received a 1 hour massage.I felt so amazing not only during the massage but felt wonderful after. The service is so great and the people are friendly and helpful.They make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. I highly recommend this spa. more

Amazing! Great time at the spa! 10/11/2008

My daughter came in with some friends last weekend for some facials and your hand and foot treatments. I just have to thank you so much. They said it was amazing and had a great time. They enjoyed your facilities and everybody there. It was just wonderful. They were ranting and raving. I am looking forward to coming and visiting you next time. Great personalized service without the spa attitude 9/29/2008

I am a big fan of massages and I am never disappointed at Body & Mind. Though it is smaller and more quiant than the spas in the city, there is not a hint of pretense and I feel at ease as soon as I walk in the door. I have been getting massages with Jennifer for about a year now at least once a month. I always leave feeling a thousand times better. She is incredibly attentive and talented and takes her time with her clients. She has a great personality and incredible hands. I highly recommend her. One of the Best Massages I ever had!!!!! 9/24/2008

After coming in for a fabulous 90 minute swedish massage, I felt as if I was flying! I had a therapist named, Amanda and I highly recommend her. Her massage was one of the best I have ever had. She knew exactly where I needed work. She was also very nice. I had such a great spa experience. The spa was nice and relaxing, I wish I could of stayed there all day. I will definitely come back again. Next time i'll probably try one of their many body treatments. Pros: Great massage, easy parking, friendly staff, free chocolates yum! more

Unfortunately bad experience on our Birthday! 9/21/2008

We had gone here for a party and it was horrible from the moment we stepped into the door. We arrived a few minutes late and they quickly told us we were unable to have our scheduled spa lunch (which was not good). The spa is tiny! The space is not like what is depicted in the pictures, don't be fooled! I had a massage there and I heard the therapist in the other room talking. The resting room was very small! I could barely move around in the room. We had to wait so long for our services. The nail technician /cosmetologist Bella was extrememley rude to us. We asked her simple questions and she gave us such a bad attitude. How unprofessional! I have never been treated like this at a spa! She messed up my nails (I could have paid much less for much more in my neighborhood). The manager was also not there to solve our problems. This spa is horrible! Don't waste your money here, go somewhere else and be treated like a Queens. Pros: Therapists and secretary were really nice. Lots of treatments available Cons: Nail technician/cosmetologist Bella, tiny tiny spa, bad lunch, no parking, they rush us more

Best Brazilian Wax 9/18/2008

Very friendly staff and nice clean place. Was worried about getting a brazilian. Had a few bad waxs.\r This lady was very understanding that i was nervious.She was very friendly & professional that put me \r at ease.And to my surprise it was the most painless wax ive had. I noticed that she used a new stick each time that was a big plus for me.Will go back again for waxing.\r Pros: good service & prices more

Worst Brazillian Wax and Horrible manicure. 9/16/2008

Price is great but service was horrible. The manicurist had an attitude and was very rude. The brazillian wax was the worse ever (although she was very friendly). The place does not look anything like in the photos. The manicure and pedicure room is a little 2 by 4 and where you are seated to eat and relax is 2x5. My suggestion is spend more money and go elsewhere, it will be worth it. Pros: Massage was ok Cons: Not to friendly more

nice place outside the city 8/21/2008

Being use to the Spa's in the city, this place is great outside of the city. I came in with a couple of my girlfriends for some TLC that we all needed. The staff was very friendly & professional. Prices aren't too bad either. The place is very clean and it's such a relaxing environment. The Facial was as good as the ones I get in manhattan so was the massage. The only things that I should have complaint to them about are the following. \r \r A) The rooms were a bit small (nothing the manager can do about) \r \r B) The lady that did my bikini wax should have told me that i should've waited for it to be a bit longer before waxing.\r \r Next time i'm in the area me & my girlfriendsI will be booking an appointment for our much needed TLC. Great massage! Cheryl is the best! 8/6/2008

Nice small spa in Whitestone. Had a massage with Cheryl. She was absolutely teriffic! She listened to me and paid attention to the sore spots. Her hands never stopped moving and I felt like I was being kneaded into the perfect ball of dough. She paid attention to my body and seemed to know where it hurt even when I didn't. I was flying high when I got off the table. She offered me water before I left and had such a jovial, caring attitude. I will definitely be back for a massage with her! It was great! I was given a gift certificate to this spa and was pleasantly surprised that a small spa could do such a nice job. \r ""Bella"" did a very good job giving me the green tea spa treatment. I would recommend this place and go back for something different.\r \r The prices were very reasonable and the place is convenient to get to. I decied to go for a massage on my birhtday. The place is very nice and clean. Professional service. Treatment rooms are big, which is a big plus. Therapists made feel very comfortable during my treatments. When i was leaving the spa, receptionist gave a beautiful candle in a beautiful decorated bag along with a $10 off coupon for next time since and she told me happy birthday. Best massage & facial in our own neighborhood 7/25/2007

I usually go for a spa day in Manhattan. But this time i decided to do a search online and see what's near by. I went on their website and I liked the way the website looked, i saw pictures of the spa, read customer reviews and decided to make an appointment for a massage & facial. \r I loved every minute at this spa. Its very quite, and has a relaxing atmosphere. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The staff was courteous and professional. I felt comfortable the minute i walked in there. \r I love it that now I can go to spa next to my house and get a Manhattan treatment. Pros: Excellent Staff. Professional Service. more
