I agree with some of the other reviewers. The lady that answers the phone is rude.\r \r I asked to speak with "probably Bob" and she proceeded to tell me he was in heaven and unless I had a direct line there I couldn't talk to him. How very Christian of her! more

"Custom Upholstery" Friendly Customer Service 11/5/2010

I can't sing their praise enough! Each and everyone of those girls have helped me to make our home a beautiful like a magazine. I now have custom built furniture. The custom built furniture is sturdy, plush, solid wood frame and richly upholstered. I am so thankful I went to Bob's for custom upholstery. Bob's is unlike the other upholstery shops..... Bob's makes your piece one of a kind. Now they are doing all my window treatments and bedding. My house looks like it has come off the pages of House Beautiful Magazine. Don't be jealous your home can look this nice too ! But you've gotta see the designers at Bob's to make your dreams come true. Oh yes also shop Bob's for fabric ---- they have the best prices and always seem to be having a sale to make room for new inventory. Thank you each and everyone at Bob's for helping me become so happy with my house; it's now a beautiful home I am so proud of. more

Horrible workmanship 10/15/2010

Horrible workmanship. Zippers put in backwards. A broken zipper was put in a pillow. Threads hang out of seams. It looks like a first effort at sewing. What a waste of fabric and money. more

Great Store! 8/17/2010

I love Bob's Upholstery! It is a friendly, family atmosphere with tons of great fabrics and they do the upholstery, if you need it, right there. There prices are the best and they have wonderful feather pillow forms! They also have beautiful accents for your home along with great furniture and pictures! You can always find something interesting there at a great price! more

Demanding and Rude! 1/30/2010

I am not a customer of Bob's design, but I had to write this so that everyone knows, I don't know about the customer service but the owners wife is very rude and nasty! She makes purchases and demands for discounts! Nothing is free in this world and just a word for the wise YOU get more with sugar than you do with salt! STOP being so nasty to people! more

BOB'S UPHOLSTERY AND DESIGN CENTER 3/1/2009

After visiting BOB'S and having my furniture reupholstered, fabric bought from them also, I have to say it looked better then it did when i bought it brand new. Bob's was very prompt and finished with the job in a timely manor. The family at Bob's was very helpful on helping me find the right fabric and colors that I needed to match my house colors. Thanks BOB'S for a job well done. We will be back for more Inferior Design help. more

A valued opinion.... 2/9/2009

Our clients are very important to us, each and every one of you. However, we have a disappointed customer who gave a negative rating to our business. The customer stated we failed to return their telephone calls or attempt to reach them in regards to their estimate. This is NOT true we professionally document each phone call on the customer file. Upon giving the customer their prices for the estimate is when they stated they were not satisfied with our services. We made every attempt to work with this client; we have even refunded the fees from the interior consultation. more

My favorite fabric store 2/7/2009

I LOVE Bob's Upholstery. I can't say enough about the friendly service and great selection. I've bought small quantities for projects around the house and large quantities for my business. They have given me wonderful service no matter what the quantity of my purchase. When considering a large purchase, I went to another fabric store that may have had a larger selection, but nowhere NEAR the level of service. I bought the fabric from Bob's and I wouldn't go anywhere else! You can find great fabric and be treated like family. more

A very disappointing experience 2/5/2009

After paying for an in-home consultation and waiting in vain for an estimate to be emailed to me, I have given up on considering Bob's for my custom project. Despite having 2 phone numbers by which to reach me, as well as my email address, they never did send me an estimate and did not return my multiple calls over a nearly 3 week period. I see no evidence of customer service and would discourage anyone from hiring them. If I could give them less than 1 star, I would. more

Lots of fabrics and solid upholstery work 4/15/2007

This is a family run business, so they focus on customer satisfaction. There are plenty of fabrics to pick from and their upholstery work stands up to the test of time. I've got a couch that has lasted for 15+ years. Recently, I took them a couple of chairs, purchased from a decorator for too much money considering their cheap construction. The leg rests were broken and the reclining mechanisms were shot. I called several shops for estimates and no one wanted to do the work, except Bob's. They did an excellent job, quickly. Years and years ago, they had a family member who made furniture and he built our master bedroom suit. So, it is a business run by craftsmen. more

Unbelievable selection of fabrics! 8/16/2006

I can't sing praises for Bob's upholstery any louder! If you have furniture that needs a new covering, get in there! There are so many fabrics to choose from, you will definitely find something to inspire you. You can also bring in your own fabric if you have it. They prefer for you to bring your furniture to them, however for a fee you can arrange for a pick up. My ten year old sofa looks brand new and just stunning. Excellent craftmanship on the upholstery! more
