I awoke Tuesday morning with a very sick wife and no heat. Not the indicators of a ?good day?. Wow, was I wrong in that assessment!\r

Our home heater went out sometime during the night. Our home was 58 degrees and my wife had a very, very bad cold. We have a maintenance agreement with a local business here in Lansing, so I called them. They got someone here as soon as possible, and the diagnosis was a dead motor. Well our unit is 27 years old and not worth putting $500 into, so I asked about replacement. The soonest our local firm could get to us was a day or two depending on previously scheduled installs. Not wanting to wait that long I began calling other, less local, firms.\r

I remembered your firm from TV commercials and KMBC 41 News. From the start Bob Hamilton was very proactive. Shortly after I called the office, Corky (Williams) called me. He had a family member in the hospital, but was leaving there to take care of us. That action in it self spoke volumes for both Corky and your firm. It only proceeded to get better from there.\r

Corky arrived, provided a couple of his own personal heaters to take the chill off of our home, and began assessing the problem, and detailing our options. While assessing our options he freely pointed out a few things I could do to improve the efficiency of heating and cooling our home. My ?honey do? list expanded by a few projects, all of which will make our home more comfortable ? thanks again Corky. \r

We discussed the more efficient 95% furnace systems and based on my home layout, and the code venting requirements, decided those systems were not a cost effective option. He explained in detail the advantages of the newer 80% two stage furnaces. We opted for an 80% system with a new coil, humidifier and A/C system as well. Within and hour of agreeing to the purchase your installation crew (Josh and Fahrad) were there to begin installation and get us heat the same day. Needless to say we were impressed. But, it only got better. Josh and Fahrad laid out mats and drop clothes to ensure they did not damage our home. They were very meticulous when taking out the old furnace and coil and bring in the new one. They are professional, courteous, knowledgeable and thoughtful. We could not have been happier. The heat was on by that evening.\r

Whatever you do hold on to these three gentlemen ? they are all professional and fantastic representatives for Bob Hamilton Plumbing, Heating and A/C. \r
