I'm giving these guys 2 stars because I am happy with our new heating/a/c unit for the most part, simply because I'm happy to have heat and air conditioning. But... we've had our...

Within 24 hours of reporting main sewer line block(@11:30am), the team aggressively resolved the problem. Everyone one was very helpful and professionally kept me up to date on the next appointment, progress, and costs. Ultimately, the line had to be clear of tree roots, but the job was completed fast and everything is flowing again. :-) Thanks! more

Paul S. came out to do our annual inspection (we have a contract with Bob Hamilton for this service - highly recommend it for home owners!). Paul was on time, professional, very kind and friendly and did an excellent job of explaining each procedure and what we should look for. Of course I love the mat that Bob Hamilton people put at the front door and the shoe covers. I've done business with Bob Hamilton for nearly 20 years and have never been unhappy. Great company; great employees. Thanks Paul S. more

\r I highly recommend this company. I had another company that were my standard call when needed but now I made the call after reading the online reviews. No wonder they have high reviews, the technicians were very friendly and knowledgable, They were on time and did not keep me waiting all day. Yea, found a new favorite plumbing company. I awoke Tuesday morning with a very sick wife and no heat. Not the indicators of a ?good day?. Wow, was I wrong in that assessment!\r \r Our home heater went out sometime during the night. Our home was 58 degrees and my wife had a very, very bad cold. We have a maintenance agreement with a local business here in Lansing, so I called them. They got someone here as soon as possible, and the diagnosis was a dead motor. Well our unit is 27 years old and not worth putting $500 into, so I asked about replacement. The soonest our local firm could get to us was a day or two depending on previously scheduled installs. Not wanting to wait that long I began calling other, less local, firms.\r \r I remembered your firm from TV commercials and KMBC 41 News. From the start Bob Hamilton was very proactive. Shortly after I called the office, Corky (Williams) called me. He had a family member in the hospital, but was leaving there to take care of us. That action in it self spoke volumes for both Corky and your firm. It only proceeded to get better from there.\r \r Corky arrived, provided a couple of his own personal heaters to take the chill off of our home, and began assessing the problem, and detailing our options. While assessing our options he freely pointed out a few things I could do to improve the efficiency of heating and cooling our home. My ?honey do? list expanded by a few projects, all of which will make our home more comfortable ? thanks again Corky. \r \r We discussed the more efficient 95% furnace systems and based on my home layout, and the code venting requirements, decided those systems were not a cost effective option. He explained in detail the advantages of the newer 80% two stage furnaces. We opted for an 80% system with a new coil, humidifier and A/C system as well. Within and hour of agreeing to the purchase your installation crew (Josh and Fahrad) were there to begin installation and get us heat the same day. Needless to say we were impressed. But, it only got better. Josh and Fahrad laid out mats and drop clothes to ensure they did not damage our home. They were very meticulous when taking out the old furnace and coil and bring in the new one. They are professional, courteous, knowledgeable and thoughtful. We could not have been happier. The heat was on by that evening.\r \r Whatever you do hold on to these three gentlemen ? they are all professional and fantastic representatives for Bob Hamilton Plumbing, Heating and A/C. \r \r Matt and Judy DeMaria\r Lansing, Kansas\r more

Expensive but worth it. Our sink was not draining properly and the technician clearly explained the issue to me, at great length because I'm unfamiliar with plumbing (nor do I care to learn about it). He was so friendly and made the process so effortless I didn't care about the price tag. Good job done by a great representative for Bob Hamilton Plumbing. more

I don't know which listing for Bob Hamilton is the right one. Regardless, here's my review.\r \r I like to be the handyman around the house, so when I couldn't unclog our master bathroom sink drain (after multiple attempts) I was quite frustrated. I'd heard from friends Bob Hamilton is slightly pricey but worth it. So, I gave them a call to come and evaluate the situation.\r \r They sent Paul, who was affable, knowledgeable and courteous. My wife ""loved him because he was clean and respectful of our home."" He didn't mind that I watched his every move. The process from call to job completion was easy and efficient. I'd highly recommend calling Bob, and am now happy I know a trustworthy company to call when I can't figure something out. more

This has to be the most scamming company that I have ever heard of!!! $99 mainline?? GET REAL!!!! Here is the problem most people don't know what is going on they just know that their floor drain is backing up or toilets won't flush....Here is what the GREAT BHP will do....They will send someone to ""CLEAR"" your mainline. and they will ""GIVE"" you a free camera inspection also... Of course they will! They do not clean your mainline only ""Open"" it. send a camera tech out to look at the line. It is NORMAL for tree roots to grow in your mainline. Sometimes they do have to be cleaned out. BHP only uses a cable to ""Open"" your mainline...gives you a ""Warranty"" then when they come back out they will tell you they need to dig up your line to Repair it..... NOW you are looking at a $6,000 job off of that $99 mainline cleanout!!!!! You could always call a different company to clean your line for $300-$400 and there is NO NEED to dig up your yard!! BE AWARE and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! more

Needed to change out a stuck valve. The service man came out and quoted $1000+ and wanted to change one, install additional one, and change the safety valve on the heater. When we told him no way, he reduced his price to $700+ with yearly membership fee, as a way to get discount. Again, we said no, he reduced his fees twice again to $500+. We paid him a service charge fee and told him to leave. Then we found a handy man to change out the bad valve and paid $150. \r \r Bob Hamilton Plumbing seems to be a very good rip off artist. I wonder why they are still in business. Should have checked for online reviews before asking them to come out. more

DO NOT use this company. First they came out to clear a clogged main line and tried to tell me I needed to dig up the front yard and replace the pipes. The repairman said they do about 2 of these a day...red flag!\r THEN I had a free a/c service and the guy was in there a long time and then came out with a part that said was taxing the motor on my unit - looked like a battery. After talking with him I found out they get a ""commission"" for doing extra service work so they are not there to help YOU. Before he left he suggested I clean the coils. I said ""aren't you supposed to hose down the outside unit"" and he suggested I do that part. Guess he didn't get paid to do that little chore. I had a second company come out and they did find a small valve that needed replacement. They guy was here at least 2 hours and was incredibly trustworthy and worked hard. He even hosed off the outside unit! Use Santa Fe and get your money's worth. I hate companies who try to scare you into expensive repair. Don't call Bob!!! more

They are a rip-off. They tried to sell us some over-priced plumbing. We told them on the phone and online that we just needed a faucet installed and disposal installed. They wanted over $900, when we told them no, they kindly reminded us about their $48 ""service charge"". So since we said no to their sales pitch they charged us $48. I now see how they make their money... more

Sam came to clear a kitchen sink clog. He was explained everything and was so very helpful. The job was done quickly and left everything picked up. I also had to ask him to do a favor (get my mail, I was sick and unable to get out to do that) which he did quite kindly! more
