Best

I initially brought my pup here for training and was offered a free trial for day care. I work from home so wasn't really in the market for it, but figured hey, free trial. My p...

Just follow your nose 9/16/2006

Has B&B cleaned up their act yet? I took a class there a few years ago. The dog play area was carpeted with a type astro turf which smelled so strong of urine my dog refused to even enter the play area. It smells of urine even a half a block away, glad I don't own a co-op above this place!\r more

BEWARE OF NO MONEY BACK POLICY 4/14/2006

I feel that at the beginning the B&B people treat new members really well. That is until one signs up for their packages and then if for some reason the dog does not perform to their standards they suggest ANOTHER PACKAGE BUT NO MONEY BACK. What is the deal with their policies anyway, welcoming at first and then when they have gotten the credit card number it's another deal.JUST PLAIN WRONG. They need to get better customer service too and better policy's. BEWARE FOLKS. Pros: CleanNon Cons: Misunderstanding, Not Polite, Not Helpful more

Excellent Dog Training 3/9/2006

We took a puppy class and were very happy. The trainer and assistant trainer were a pleasure to work with and the front desk staff was very welcoming, too. The training exercises and tips were incredibly useful. We will be better owners and our pup has a lot more self control. Pros: Fun, Informative more

User review by nyclac 2/4/2006

Poor service. Was told that they could train any dog. My dog was deemed ""difficult"" after the 2nd week of a 6 week obedience class I was told I neede private training at $150 per session and it was unclear as to how many sessions were required. After accepting that, I called the store and was told that there would be no refund for the original $300 class I purchased. Before signing up, I was told that the trainers were excellent, gave a lot of personal attention and individulalized tips because the classes were small. This was not true. Very disappointed. Cons: Expensive, Poor Customer Service, NO guarantee more

a place for dogs to play 11/4/2005

Unlike childcare, it is very difficult to find good information on care for dogs. I found Biscuits and Bath through word of mouth. Here is a place run by dog lovers. Dogs are walked regularly and the staff are friendly and interact with the animals. (Quite different from the many places that allow your dog to pee in doors with people who just stand around and mop the area w/ a dirty mop). I'm so glad that my dog spends the day where he receives great care and love. I think he is too. Pricier than some, but well worth the extra service. Pros: Clean, Great Staff, Fun for dogs Cons: Pricier more

The best daycare in NYC 10/1/2005

My dog has been going to Biscuits and Bath since she was four-months-old and LOVES it. No sitting around on chaises for these guys -- it's fetch the kong and mad dashes non-stop. I can particularly recommend the 80th Street facility, with its huge main playroom. One of the original daycare facilities and one of the best, the people who work at B&B know and love dogs. Most tellingly of all, Biscuits and Bath donates valuable storefront space to dogs from the city shelter/Animal Haven in a bid to find them new homes. Pros: Devoted staff, Huge play areas, Reputation more
