As a musician I was thrilled to hear about the guitar department in the Fargo Best Buy, after visiting the department I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! What a joke to say the least! High end guitars but 95% of the guitars were dirty dirty dirty, disgusting, out of tune, warped and not set up properly or even close! From a pros point of veiw it was a big disappointment and a joke. just a BIG BOX store with guitars. The staff seemed ok but obviuosly lazy or not musicains ? I inquired about different recording equiptment and they all had a deer in the headlight look and I couldn't get a straight answer? The place was full of kids running around and by the time I left I was very annoyed. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND or visit this Best Buy again. I would recomend buying someplace else or take my chances and buy it online. It doesn't even deserve 1 star. more

Customer service is alive and well at Best Buy of Fargo 12/7/2008

I went to the store with a very specific need. Much to my disappointment, the company making the computer I had to have was between models - so nothing seemed to be available. But, a young man named Ryan, in the computer sales department, found a used computer that was exactly what I walked in the store to get. He spoke to management and got clearance to sell it at a very discounted price. Not only that, but in the pre-holiday rush, he managed to have the computer ready to go to its new owner within the time it took us to go have lunch. I had the computer in my aunt's hands before the end of the day - which is exactly what I had hoped for! Customer service is alive and well at Best Buy Fargo. Thank you Ryan - Thank you Best Buy. more

I like the store, but.... 1/1/2006

Best Buy has a good selection and moderate prices, and they do a great job on the sale's floor helping you find what you need. My family has bought 3 or 4 computers at this store in the past decade and we've been pretty satisfied with them. The only problem is, our computers always seem to crash, and when we take them into the store they have no idea what is wrong with them. So basically, the staff is more knowledgeable about buying and using electronics than fixing them. PROS: Good selection, helpful sales staff CONS: Unhelpful if your computer crashes more

Best Buy 9/29/2005

I have found the place to be loud and frenzied. The help in every dept is overwhelming because they are on commission. It is ok for a quick trip and they may be the only place that has what i needed. But, not a place I could stay in for long. more

My husband is in heaven there. 7/13/2005

We have had positive experiences with this Best Buy. My husband shops there a lot and they are usually quite helpful and have handled returns well. The employees try to keep up on things pretty well. more
