I went my first time January 2014, they were AMAZING. It's a small clinic, so expect a wait time. The staff was sooo friendly and gave our cat some new toys! I will definitely be returning and making them our vet. :) more

I don't know where you guys are getting the impression that this guy is a drunk. My family has been taking our pets to see Dr. Pfouts since I can remember. 6 dogs and countless cats have been seen by him and I've been nothing but impressed. It's true he's bizarre and out there but, that shouldn't matter. He's great at what he does. The women in the front office are wonderful with my pets. I recommend this guy entirely. more

Great Service, the people are great and they don't over charge you \r i read some of the other reviews and i think someone from one of the other vets here in stockbridge are writing negative reviews to stop people from going to the better option. I'[ve taken my pets to berry hill before they are awesome and later today i'm taking my dog edward up there more

The staff at Berry Hill was amazing, the Dr. was very friendly. The ladies in the office were wonderful as well. I will continue to take my animals to Berry Hill pet hospital for years to come. Thank you all very much for your great work. more

A drunk vet? No thanks! 5/4/2011

In April of 2011, my two dogs needed yearly shots. I arrived at the vet 7 minutes before opening. The door was open so I walked in. After waiting at the counter for several minutes, Dr. Pfouts came into sight, looked at his watch and said, "Well God Da**, you're a little early, aren't you?" WOW!! Good morning to you too, sunshine! My youngest dog went back, then my eldest. When he saw her, he said, "Well! Look how fat she is! Oh! Look at you. She must've gotten her body from you!" He REAKED of whiskey. \r \r The prices are GREAT. But, I will NEVER return here. I wish I would've dealt with the fabulous office staff before this a-hole.\r \r I hope you find this helpful. more

NOT worth it! 4/15/2011

To the person who said that other vets may be putting false claims on here. I have witnessed these claims first hand and know for a fact that they are all true. I would not recommend that anyone take their animals here if you care about them. Just because the prices are cheap, doesn't mean it is a good deal. He uses needles over and over, he jabs the animals, he gets rough with them, and he is out of date with his practices. He needs to admit his vet days are done. more

NOW THATS AWESOME!!! 2/22/2011

I have never had any problems with this place. I took my cat Mitzy to get fixed and my cat Tigger to get fixed and im Taking my cat Oliver to get fixed. They were there when i lost my Tiger (cat) . he ran off and got into some antifreeze, they told me what had happend and i knew there was nothing they could do.. it was too late....they stayed with me until he breathed his last breath... the doctor even wrapped him up in his fav. blankie so i could bury him with it. Their prices are very good and they are not outrageous..ive had vets charge me 100 dollars just for a checkup!!! they charged me 35!!!! oh and they didnt charge me for the office visit when Tiger passed... NOW THATS AWESOME! I have never had a bad expericence here... highly recomended.. more

Thankyou, ya'll are great! 1/25/2011

I don't know what some people are talking about giving negative reviews. my older dog Summer has always had skin problems and I have had her to several different vets locally and out of state. She swelled really bad and I thought yeast infection. Dr. Pfouts knew right away what to do and how to treat her. Within 2 days she stopped chewing herself and she doesn't smell anymore! It's been years since Summer or us have had any relief from the smell or her tearing herself to pieces. I had evev considered putting her down. She was accused of having mange by so many people-it got to be that I didn't want to take her anywhere. Thankyou Dr. Pfouts and staff for being so helpful. Also my cats have been sharing a cold and they spared me the trouble and trauma to them by prescribing their meds without me having to bring them in-again saving money. I am happy to say they are recuperating now. Also they are helping me find a forever home for a puppy we have who we just can't keep. The f more

Very Good Overall 1/17/2011

DR. Pfouts is a alcoholic. He is not a good veterinarian. But the other women up front are as friendly and caring as could be. ( Kesha, Carla, and Frankie. I recommend this vet to everybody but just expect attitude from doctor Pfouts. I would recommend Kesha the most!!!! more

Great Vet 7/6/2010

I could not be happier! Dr. Pfouts is an amazing Vet. My dog Beefcake got really sick last week and I drove all the way from Villa Rica, Ga to Berry Hill just because My family has a history with Dr. Pfouts. We have been taking our pets there for years. We were there for 15 minutes he told us what the problem was and he started to fix it. Today Beefcake is like a new dog and I am so very thankful to Dr.Pfouts and his staff! more

if u go to berry hill in stockbridge i hope u can put up with a buthole vet. i send my girl friend up there to get my dogs shots and one of the hasnt had any so i wus calling my girlfriend to let her know so thay didnt give her the wrong shot and the dr. told her to cut her phone off. is that the right way to talk to some one when u could give the dog the wrong shots. and one of my dogs didnt like him and she wus snappy and he says if your dog bites me im going to sue what kind of dr sues people if he wusnt a buthole mybe my dog wouldnt be like that to him anyways the ladies at the front were very nice and good people i couldnt work for someone like that. more

Berry Hill Pet Hospital is not too great!!!! 12/30/2009

The front desk staff is very friendly, BUT Dr. Pfouts is a big time DRUNK!!!! He comes in the room with alcohol on his breath and acts irritable about any of your animals health. I personally wouldn't go without my husband b/c of his attitude. My husband has went off on him before about how he snatches animals up. CHEAPER is NOT the way to go when it comes to your animals health. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!! Someone needs to shut him down. I don't even want to imagine the animals he does surgery on that cant fend for themselves. Do yourself and your pet a favor, DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! more

Animal Lovers beware! 10/23/2009

Pet Owners beware!!! Drunk Vet!!! I took my dog to the vet this afternnoon when he had something wrong with his eye. My family has been taking our pets to this vet for years and though the vet is not very friendly and has been known to be rude we never would have expected him to be so unprofessional as he was today. Since we have been taking our pets there for years we knew he has surgeries on Thursdays during those hours however since we felt it was urgent we were hoping they could fit us in. The vet techs at the front office were very friendly and said they could fit us in especially since they noticed that our dog had signs of congestive heart failure. We waited in the waiting room patiently for Dr. Pfouts to complete his surgeries. At some point during his surgey he walked by and said, "I don't know why you are here. You should know I have surgeries today." He then went back to continue his surgery. When he finally came back in he continued to make rude comments and that is when I more

Excellent Vet! Cheap prices! Friendly, quick service! 6/30/2009

I LOVE this vet! I recommend them all the time. And, those I recommend this vet to are always satisfied. I read a couple reviews that stated the vet is rude. I have NEVER had this problem. My dogs are my darlings, and he LOVES them! The ladies who work in the office are wonderful! I've been going to this vet for the past 3 years. I have taken 3 puppies (now adult dogs) to them. And, even if a year has passed since my last visit, the staff ALWAYS remembers me and my dogs by name. These people truly love animals. And, the doctor is very knowledgeable. I trust them. And, I would not take my darlings anywhere else! more

Berry Hill Pet Hospital is Wonderful! 6/18/2009

Office staff is wonderful and caring. Dr. Pfouts is an extremely knowledgeable and very, very good veterinarian. For those of you who reported less than wonderful experiences, I'm sure they will not miss your business. Although I find the doctor to be pleasant and caring with my pets - always - I'm not at the clinic for a personality test. He takes great care of my dogs, one of which is 14 years old. I wouldn't think I taking her anywhere else but here. I've been taking my pets here for years. The quality of care is excellent, I personally enjoy being at the office and their prices are more than reasonable. I would recommend this clinic to everybody. more

I will NEVER go here again!! 4/2/2009

I walked through the door here and the 2 women in the front office were WONDERFUL!! I hate it that they have to work for such a loud rude man.\r I was fostering a dog and took her to this vet to See what was needed in order to get a ground transport health certificate and to have her treated for kennel cough. When the vet entered the room he seemed OK. Then my foster dog started coughing and he totally LOST it . He started yelling at me about not being able to issue a health certificate on a dog with it coughing. ( I can understand that) Well , he never could get past the whole health certificate and coughing issue and made me cry before I could even get a clear answer as to what to do about her coughing. I called the lady ( in another state) that I was fostering for and he continued to yell at me and her both from across the room about her coughing . He was so RUDE!! Great Honest down to earth Vet office 4/1/2009

I took my doggie Frankie here when I first got him and needed a reasonably priced vet. The people here took such good care of me and Frankie. He got everything he needed, shots, de worming, heartworm meds, you name it, all for a good price. Whenever I call Dr. Pfouts with a question, he never has any problems answering them as best he can without actually seeing Frankie. The girls there are so sweet and caring. Dr. Pfouts understands that although as pet owners it is our responsibility to care for , love and provide for our pets, he never demands that you do anything unreasonable. I also never have any problems getting a quick appointment there when Frankie has to be seen. As far as his friendliness, well no, he is not goooey sticky sweet but who cares? He is approachable, knowledgeable and nice enough that I enjoy doing business there. I highly recommend this vet office. more

Fantastic, knowledgeable, VERY ECONOMICAL, caring 3/10/2009

Have been patients for over 10 yrs. Now drive from 400 north to Stockbridge for the excellent service. Very thorough, detailed and fast. Dr Pfouts is a no nonsense guy, gives it to you straight with kindness and concern. They are so VERY ECONOMICAL, from the surgeries to the flea and tick meds-you won't believe the prices. This practice makes it affordable to have pets!!Well worth the drive!! more

I have taken my pets to many different vets, and Berry Hill is the best. You can not bet their prices. The vet and staff were extremely helpful! I would diffently recommend them. more
