The new Kohler faucet that was installed was defective water leaked all over kitchen bamboo floor and into basement.

Would not recommend 6/23/2016

We purchased a hot water heater from Ben Franklin that includes a warrantee with yearly service. The service professionals are hot or cold, some are great, others I would never let in my house again. One person set up a bladder tank for our hot water heater. it was put in front of the electrical box (illegal) and it was not set up correctly (it does not fill up with water.). Another person gave us the hard sell to join the "friends of Ben Franklin", even though we had joined. As a "friend" we were supposed to get immediate service. We've always has to wait 2-3 weeks to get an appointment. I called to complain about poor service. I left 2-3 messages with for the owner. He never called back. As soon as our service contract is over, we will NEVER hire these people again. more

Great staff and service! 6/22/2016

We had a gas boiler breakdown and Ben Franklin staff came out promptly to diagnose the issue, quickly ordered the required part, and got it installed ASAP. The staff were knowledgable and friendly and professional. Glad to recommend them to others. more

Good service but not professional attitude. 6/22/2016

When we built our home in 1978, we were working with limited funds and built "on a shoestring". Recently, when we had a plumbing issue that we couldn't handle ourselves, we called Benjamin Franklin for help in the repair. As much as the plumber was fine at fixing the problem, he was very opinionated as to the plumbing setup and made many derogatory remarks. He continued his criticism for most of the time he was here and we felt it was totally unprofessional. more

They came out right away and fixed my emergency situation, then a few days later had to return to replace my sump pump. Excellent response, and excellent service from the technician that fixed our issue. more
