Tom and Allen were professional, informative and very helpful. They explained what needs to be done and were thorough with the water heater inspection as well as inspecting all other plumbing throughout the house. I would recommend Benjamin Franklin plumbing. more

Good work, bad pricing 9/30/2016

The plumber showed up ahead of time and was dressed professionally (button down white shirt looked nice, but seemed silly for someone dealing with sewage). The pricing structure was unlike I've ever seen, however. It's a tier system and had I not dug my own 12" x 12" x 4' hole it would have been $699! As it was, three hours of work including driving to get a $5.00 tops part that should have been on the "fully stocked truck" cost $529. As most plumbers are $85-$105/hour this was over priced. The good news is that the leak going into my home's water main valve is fixed. more

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. A top notch company to deal with! 9/25/2016

We set up an appointment with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to get an estimate to replace a 16 year old electric water heater. Keith was our representative from BFP and he asked what our needs were and set about writing out our estimate, which included code updates for the new water heater installation. After we had gathered three estimates from three different companies and weighed each experience, we agreed that Benjamin Franklin Plumbing would be our choice. Keith was also our installer. He and Manuel were fast, efficient, friendly, punctual, and totally professional. Everything was completed in less time than expected and the new water heater is working great! Thanks so very much! more

Never again 9/15/2016

I had a wet crawl space, heard you were expert in finding leaks. I was given 3 estimates, depending on diagnosis, which would cost over 600, each "fix" cost thousands. I called another plumber who found my problem was a split hose bib, replaced it for a modest cost. more

Fast, friendly, efficient 9/8/2016

Our hot water heater went out and Robert was right there helping us ALL DAY. He was terrific. Once we got our insurance approval he worked until late night to get us fixed up. Very friendly and helpful service. more

Positive Experience 8/14/2016

If a plumbing problem could turn into a possible experience, this one was. The dispatcher was on top of things. The technician was knowledgeable, courteous and personable. He expected pained the problem in layman' terms and helped avert a future problem because of his great skills. Hope that I will not need these services in the near future, but if I do, this is who I would call. more

Recirculating pump did not heat up hot water in far bedroom 8/1/2016

I needed a problem solved. Get my recirculating pump working. The tech told me all the issues: the water heater would have to be drained because it was not isolated by a valve. That could shorten the life of the water heater and looks likes it's close to be needing to be replaced. The valves around the recir are ball valves. He wanted to verify that the valve was open. It only turned a quarter of a turn. Told him I wasn't ready to replace the water heater. So I said wait let me force the valve so you could fix it if it breaks. I forced it past a quarter turn and it opened and the recir started working correctly! The focus should have been to solve my problem not me to solve it. more
