Water line repair 9/25/2017

They were amazing, came out on Saturday and would have work Saturday or Sunday, but needed AC guys to move the ac unit. They were here Monday and did a good job. Communication was excellent and everything was explained in detail. more

Jaime was on time, very courteous and informative. He did a great job removing a toilet and reinstalling after tile work was completed. he reinstalled a new toilet and hauled away the old one. He helped us with information on what to look for in buying a new toilet. More to it than I ever thought about! more

Garrett was top notch. He explained the repairs in precise detail and was very knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. Thank you. We now have a new garbage disposal and sinks that drain. Very highly recommended. I will definitely use their services again. I know with Ben Franklin I will always get a highly competent technician no matter what my plumbing issues are. I used their services before to fix a burst pipe that was leaking into my basement. I love the upfront pricing. more

Gas Hot Water Heater Removal and Instalation 9/11/2017

Plumbing problems seem to only occur on weekends and this was no exception. My 13 year old water started leaking and was noticed at 4:00 PM on a Saturday. A call was placed to Ben Franklin Plumbing and a service tech, Ken P., was on site within 45 minutes. The situation was inspected by Ken P. and various options were documented and explained. An option was selected and work began by 5:30 PM. All parts, including the water heater, were on Ken P.'s service truck and the work to remove the old water heater and install the new one progressed with no problems. Great care was shown in not making a mess with the removal and installation. All work was completed by 8:00 PM and was done in a very professional manner. more

Unbelievable Service 8/21/2017

I left a chat request Sunday morning to get back with me on Monday about a water heater that would not fire. Within 4 hours, I got a phone call offering to have a tech come out that afternoon. The showed up within an hour, checked out the problem, and told me the gas valve was bad but he recommended replacing the unit because of the age. He gave me a price for a new heater installed. I asked if the could get to it on Monday. He said he could do it immediately. I was amazed that they came prepared to replace the unit, even though I changed the size of the heater that I wanted. Within 2 hours, we had hot water. What great service! more

Shower valve replacement 8/19/2017

We had a very difficult valve installation due the existing access space through a marble shower wall. We expressed our desire to use the existing space but approved an enlargement of the opening knowing we would wind up with a cover plate bigger than we wanted. Jamie first tried and was successful in keeping the enlargement small enough to allow the installation while also using the cover plate we desired. This had a very good inpact with the final shower appearance. more

Tim did a great job fixing the under sink kitchen plumbing. He explained the existing plumbing was not done properly and what was needed to correct it and the cost for the repair. He also explained the extra cost to add line & connect the water line for the refrigerator which could be done at a later time. Thank you Tim. more
