Simply the worst experience I have ever had with a trades person. These people have absolutely no integrity. They give a bad name to the trades and cause a great deal of harm to well intentioned hardworking trades people who really do give a dam about theri work and their reputation. more

I gave one star because you have to give at least one. The manager of this Co. came to my house to measure for 2 mirrors. He took half the cost as deposit and said mirrors would be in 7-10 days. 15 days later, I called to see where the mirrors were and was told I'd get a call back. No calls back, I proceeded to call day after day (never a returned call) and finally had to threaten them to get them to come out. They came with the mirrors (grossly mis-measured) couldn't be installed, so I told them I wanted my money back. In the meantime, they had my credit card info. to charge at the completion of the job....they charged my credit card without authorization just days after taking the original order. I only found this out when I got my credit card statement. I've now paid interest for 1 month and they still won't return my calls and now I have to sue them for my money back. I've filed a complaint with BBB. This company is incredibly unprofessional, they are not skilled, and they NEVER return calls. Also, note that they are almost double the price and in some cases more than double other estimates that I have received since. They clearly have no intention of returning my money and now I am forced to hire an Attorney. This company needs to be closed. more

AWFUL!! 1/5/2011

I've never in my life dealt with a business with worse customer service. I went in June to drop off glass tile to be cut. The price seemed high but I didn't know any better. I wasn't in a rush but then a few months went by so I stopped in to check on the progress. Nothing but excuses. Didn't even have my info. Another month went by, No progress, more excuses, didn't have my information. Another month same thing. What kind of business are you running when you don't call, don't complete the work asked of you, and after six months of excuses you leave me no choice but to take my business else where. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!!!!!! more

Not recommended 9/25/2010

I was given their card by Lowes. I needed a window replaced. I called and set up a Saturday morning appointment for an estimate, between 9 and 11AM. I was there the entire time but they never showed or called. I see that another reviewer had the same experience, so my review adds to the consensus to stay away from Beltway! more

Not a Good Experience 9/14/2010

I would not recommend this company because of their lack of communication and organization. The person who answers the phones and sets up appointments never has your information and never calls back. They did not show for the 9-11 time frame on the day the work was scheduled for and after I called to find out where they were, they said the person wasn't there on that day that was scheduled to do our job. Why didn't someone else come and also why didn't anyone call me? It caused us to delay the painter we had scheduled for almost a week because the window work wasn't done. Look for a professional company that cares about their customers. Don't use Beltway Glass & Mirrors. In this economy, you wonder why a company wouldn't work hard and take care of their customers. They need a good computer and a good manager with people skills. Enough said. more

These guys are TERRIBLE!!! Be very careful! They wont cut your glass to the right measurements, they definitely WONT call you back. (even when you repeatedly call them and they promise to). And They Highly over charge for terrible work. From what I hear, This establish used to be very good many years ago, but the management has all gone down hill. And the previous comment about the guy at the front desk being racist is absolutely right! I actually noticed it myself. I am quite surprised these guys are still in business actually. Beltway glass 1/31/2010

The clerk made a racial comment after hanging up with a customer while I was in the store. $60 to replace two 10x12 panes of glass in a metal frame. I specifically asked the older gentleman at the counter to silicone the glass in then glaze the window (standard practice). When a picked up the glass there did not appear to be any silicone, and the only thing holding the panes in place was the glazing which remains soft for about a month. Ended up making a mess caulking it myself as the panes shifted on me with the slightest pressure. These guys are hacks. These people take your money, Tell you they will call in 2 weeks to let you know that the product is in. BUT they never call --- you must keep calling them and they give you one excuse after another, why your product is not in.. The phone in not something they know how to use. It is now over 2 months and it another excuse. Have to get a lawyer to get someone who knows where my money is or where my shower doors are. Please never use these people. JCS more

Overpriced 11/17/2009

I called this place after someone tried to break into a commercial property I owned by breaking the window. They were professional and came out right away to inspect the damage. However, the estimate was ridiculous - $70 for the parts/window and more than $650 for the labor! I told Lou that their proposal was too high. He called me back two days later and said since they were 'slow', they would give me a $150 discount. I said thanks but that we were going with another vendor that only charged about $300 for the whole thing. more
