Management Going Downhill as Rent Goes Up 1/19/2018

There's been four management companies in as many years: Alliance, Greystar, Avenue 5, MG Properties. Each time things seem to get worse. Pro: The exteriors, lobbies and clubhouse got a remodel and new energy efficient lights installed. Overall the neighborhood is nice and neighbors mostly considerate. Con: Rent has gone up about 10% for existing residents and parking is no longer included. Next year allegedly they plan to charge over $100 for parking and insist it's "a deal" compared to neighboring complexes. Meanwhile new residents are enticed with lower rents. Stairwells and parking garages are mostly ignored. Dog vomit sits in stairwells for weeks and fire doors remain broken despite filing reports with the leasing office. The warehouse Stevens Winery next door can get loud and inconsiderate and some nearby residents like to set off fireworks in the streets during the holidays. Management doesn't seem to care. more

Terrible Place 7/28/2016

I'm going to be short and to the point. 1. Dirty all the time. 2. Smoking in non-smoking building along with smoke from pot. Management does nothing but charge you extra to be in a non smoking building. 3. Management personal have no respect, are disdainful, arrogant, and rude. 4. Poop all over the complex. 5. Maintenance is poor or doesn't even show up. 6. Apartments are cheap, pressed wood for kitchen cabinets. Doors come loose. Cheap vinyl and carpet. Appliances are the lowest grade. Been here 2 years and they don't ever clean the outside windows. 7. One side of building next to wine factory, which operates 24/7 and very noisy. 8. Again, I have never meet such rude people in the leasing office. Awful. more

Rotten deal compared to other options in the area $$$ 3/30/2015

Lived here for a year, loved the amount of space, the layout of our 2BA/2BR, having a parking garage, and a garbage shoot. Starting at 5 stars, they lost one star for an utterly filthy move in and super cheap appliances and countertops for what they called "resort style" living - especially when compared to Chateau Woods' granite counter tops and top end appliances for the same price and larger bedrooms (which we also viewed as it is right next door, but went with Beaumont because we liked the, then complex mgr, the layout of our 2BR and the clubhouse amenities). It always stank - either because of the trash smell constantly coming up the trash shoot and filling the hall or because of the persistent smokers - not to mention wet dog smell everywhere (no offense to dogs - but they stink and that's definitely a good reason they should have odor absorbing cleaners and/or air-fresheners in the place). They lost another star for trying to go back on what we had signed on for - free parking, 24hr use of the fitness center and most of all - a smoke-free environment. In our contract it stated that the entire premises were smoke free, that if smoking occurred by tenants or guests on the premises it was in violation of the lease - I spent an entire summer keeping my windows on lockdown trying to keep the billows from the chain smokers below out while I was sweltering and puffing on a new scrip for an inhaler. I made at least a half dozen complaints to management (documented to the point of ready to claim Beaumont had broken the lease and just move to a place where I could breathe). Nothing changed til the smokers happened to feel like moving before I made good on my intent to leave. They lost another star when new management took over and stopped taking care of the place made the clubhouse into their domain - even during "open" hours and tried to raise the rent by nearly 20%. The final star is lost on a singular super slow elevator and persistently malfunctions key fobs - the cherry on top of their supreme cheapness. more

Greystar and new Ownership are taking the complex downhill!!! 1/22/2015

We moved here and initially were happy, until the place was recently sold, new owners and a poor Greystar management policies. They immediately stop cleaning the complex elevator, safety issues are faulty, hallways, garbage containers are overflowing and they stopped access to the (previously 24 hours in the contract) gym, business center, and clubhouse, to CLOSED at 6PM. Basically, Resident have FOBS to open security doors and there are cameras, so very inappropriate. This is not what we signed up for. The new staff is very much in the numbers and not about being friendly or caring, like the old staff. It is obvious Greystar was hired to make the owners money, not making a great neighborhood and happy residents. It's as if they want to push the residents out and drive this complex into the ground. Perhaps, then they can come in and show they turned it around. Horrible experience thus far, DO NOT RECOMMEND! more

Don't Bother 7/18/2011

This place has the worst management I've ever dealt with. They are extremely rude and do not address complaints at all. The common areas were not cleaned as well as they used to be and the apartments have absolutely no insulation in terms of sound. I could actually hear the urine hitting the toilet water from the apartment above me. This complex only cares about sucking you in to a contract and then screwing you with bogus charges once you do get out. Don't bother with this place, you'll regret it!! more

Nicer communities....same prive range 6/29/2011

Started out nice but, now dirty and filled with college type kids. Hallways and elevators smell like dog. Oversized, unfriendly dogs and owners in elevators so, it makes you nervous for your safety. They can sponsor a Beer Fest but, have no resident activities. Pool is overcrowded on nice weekends. Awful carpet and no sound proofing. It's a shame community is going downhill because it has all the potential to be beautiful. more

Beaumont Apartments 3/19/2011

Good: It seemed nice from the outside and the clubhouse it beautiful.. Bad: Lots...the buildings use to get cleaned often but, now hardly ever. Elevators always smell like dog urine and front door is open more times then not. Mail area is dirty, garage is dirty and walls are paper thin. It feels like there are tons of college kids and the rental critera seems to be declining. The office does nothing about complaints other then apologize and it's always a lottery to see if you will get the only two people in the office that care. The Asst. Mgr has NO personality.. Improvements: More professional Management, better resident events, clean common areas, clean balconies and better leasing guidelines.. Other: I would say....go to Kirkland or Bellevue where there are nice apartments for the same price range. Once your a resident, they could care less. It's only about getting new people to lease.. more
