Lived here for a year, loved the amount of space, the layout of our 2BA/2BR, having a parking garage, and a garbage shoot. Starting at 5 stars, they lost one star for an utterly filthy move in and super cheap appliances and countertops for what they called "resort style" living - especially when compared to Chateau Woods' granite counter tops and top end appliances for the same price and larger bedrooms (which we also viewed as it is right next door, but went with Beaumont because we liked the, then complex mgr, the layout of our 2BR and the clubhouse amenities). It always stank - either because of the trash smell constantly coming up the trash shoot and filling the hall or because of the persistent smokers - not to mention wet dog smell everywhere (no offense to dogs - but they stink and that's definitely a good reason they should have odor absorbing cleaners and/or air-fresheners in the place). They lost another star for trying to go back on what we had signed on for - free parking, 24hr use of the fitness center and most of all - a smoke-free environment. In our contract it stated that the entire premises were smoke free, that if smoking occurred by tenants or guests on the premises it was in violation of the lease - I spent an entire summer keeping my windows on lockdown trying to keep the billows from the chain smokers below out while I was sweltering and puffing on a new scrip for an inhaler. I made at least a half dozen complaints to management (documented to the point of ready to claim Beaumont had broken the lease and just move to a place where I could breathe). Nothing changed til the smokers happened to feel like moving before I made good on my intent to leave. They lost another star when new management took over and stopped taking care of the place made the clubhouse into their domain - even during "open" hours and tried to raise the rent by nearly 20%. The final star is lost on a singular super slow elevator and persistently malfunctions key fobs - the cherry on top of their supreme cheapness.
