Service Department Fail 4/23/2013

The service department could use a tune-up, but the sales team (especially Greg Cole) and products are fantastic. I had a relatively simple service request: replace the front passenger-side tire. I didn't need anything fancy, and I figured the dealership would be a fine choice for this straightforward request. When I brought in the vehicle, my service rep (Corky) annotated the request and asked if there was anything else. To which I replied, "This back tire looks a little flat, could you also take a look at that?" They performed the service and about an hour later I was on my way. About a week and a half after this visit to the service department, I found that my front passenger-side tire was completely flat. After speaking with several different employees (including the one who processed my original request), I deduced that they had replaced the back tire (the WRONG one) after also putting a patch in it. Really? They patched a tire, THEN replaced the same tire? And I paid for both operations? Yes, yes, and yes. I actually had to argue with the service rep and deliver evidence of the flat FRONT tire, but he never admitted to making a mistake. It became clear that Corky had simply botched the original service request and wouldn't own up to it. I finally spoke to the service manager and ultimately convinced him to meet me halfway on the cost of another new tire. Thankfully, after making a fuss, they replaced the tire that actually needed replacing. Sorry, Beaman. I'm still a loyal customer, but your service department needs a lesson in good service. more

We were led to believe we were getting our car for a different price then it turned out on the paperwork. One person I finally reached tried to explain it away and was rude. Other calls were never returned. The issue was never resolved but I moved on. I was later contacted about grading my experience and asked to let them know if I had any issues that needed addressed so they could correct them. When I gave my response, I was treated like I was the problem. Scott called me up and promised to make it right and said he'd call me right back. He never did. After more than a week I tried calling him to check the status. My calls were never returned. When I finally spoke to to him again, he was extremely rude and disrespectful. He had made the promises, never kept them and then lied about ever agreeing to. He was like a different person and I was stunned. He lied several times during all this. The experience was very upsetting. My blood pressure shot up and I was stunned at the rude and unprofessional behavior I was subjected to. I hate that I gave my business to these rude, dishonest people. We like Toyotas but now the car reminds me of how I was treated. The way I was disrespected was far worse than being cheated on the price. more

Stress Free Experience 11/1/2011

My wife and I had not purchased a vehicle in over 15 years and we were horrifed at the thought of going into the dealership and at the ripe old age of 77 to buy a vehicle. Upon arrival at Beaman we were greeted promptly by Sterling Gallien. He quickly made us feel at ease by telling us how easy it was to do business and that there was no pressure to buy a car today. His objective was to provide all the information that we required to make the best possible decision. We also worked with Patrick who demonstrated the vechicle and took us on a test drive. After getting behind the wheel and experiencing all that the 2012 Camry has to offer, the decision the purchase was obvious. I told Sterling that we still had to consult with our son before we made a final decision. They respected our wishes and we came back the next morning and purchased the Camry. Best Car Buying Experience Ever!!!! more

Good: One of the best car experiences of my car buying life. Sterling and Patrick we amazing. They were very knowledgeable and truly cared about our needs. My wife and I had not purchased a vehicle in 15 years and did not know what expect. These guys made it extremely easy to purchase a vehicle. I would recommed them to all my family and friends.. worst dealership - trust me 10/28/2011

Go ahead and compare Beaman Toyota Scion to ANY other big-boy dealership around. It falls short. They hit you overpriced cars and cheesy sales pitches. I had CASH and they couldn't even put me in the Toyota I wanted! They are unorganized. They become rude and unprofessional when questioned. Argh -- not worth your precious time! more

Talk about a BAD experience! Beaman tops it all -- the worst of the worst. The salesmen and sales manager were LIARS. They give you a sales pitch, make promises, then don't deliver on them. They aren't straightforward and give you the run around. It was a nightmare!!! Please, please don't go to Beaman. Save yourself the headache! more

way to go Beaman/I never thought after my car was crashed that buying a new one would be easy.Thank you Beaman sales for making it pretty darn easy to buy a new car.With help from my salesman(Derek) and his fellow managers and finanace guys(Bobby G) I was in my new car in less time than it took mje to buy a washer and dryer that day,/Bobby got me a better rate then I hoped and the paperwork went by easy. Again way to go Beaman!!! more

Great experience at Beaman 8/28/2011

My wife and I are so happy with our new Sienna that we had to comment about it and our experience buying it. From the very beginning of the process, our salesman Neal Hubbard was extremely nice and competent. He made us feel very comfortable. It was a slow day at the store, so we breezed through an agreement and then the Finance Manager, Bobby Gravis, ushered us right in to complete the purchase. I had an excellent experience at Beaman Toyota. I knew the 2011 Prius was selling at more than the sticker price so was prepared for the drive away price. The people I worked with (Spence Lyon, Justin George and Rick Sellers) were all professional and polite. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction and no high pressure sales tactics were evident. I had a great experience at Beaman and would recommend asking to see Mr. Lyon for your car-buying needs. more

Everyone there - from sales to financial to the service department - was extremely friendly and helpful. I can be a pretty indecisive person, but they were patient with me, answered every one of my questions, and gave me as much time as I needed to make decisions. I still miss my truck, but I'm happy with my Camry, and the experience at Beaman made the transition much easier. I would absolutely recommend Beaman Toyota to anyone. more

Terrific Service 10/25/2005

The service I experienced here was amazing. They saw to pretty much every detail of my sale, and they have supplied excellent service ever since. I take my car back for all service- not because I'm one of those 'dealer' people, but because the service is cheaper and better. So far, unless I find a coupon, I haven't found anyone in town who will even change the oil cheaper. They followed up with me after the purchase, sent me cookies, supplied free roadside service for as long as I own the car- in short, did everything they can to actually maintain a relationship with me, not just get my money and push me out the door. I highly recommend. more

My experience there was not great but better than most other car dealers. I interacted with two or three dealers there and they were reasonably friendly although they would make something up. I think if I had to buy a toyota again i would go and visit them again, I think they are better than rivergate. more
