Beaman Toyota

The service department could use a tune-up, but the sales team (especially Greg Cole) and products are fantastic. I had a relatively simple service request: replace the front passenger-side tire. I didn't need anything fancy, and I figured the dealership would be a fine choice for this straightforward request. When I brought in the vehicle, my service rep (Corky) annotated the request and asked if there was anything else. To which I replied, ""This back tire looks a little flat, could you also take a look at that?"" They performed the service and about an hour later I was on my way. About a week and a half after this visit to the service department, I found that my front passenger-side tire was completely flat. After speaking with several different employees (including the one who processed my original request), I deduced that they had replaced the back tire (the WRONG one) after also putting a patch in it. Really? They patched a tire, THEN replaced the same tire? And I paid for both operations? Yes, yes, and yes. I actually had to argue with the service rep and deliver evidence of the flat FRONT tire, but he never admitted to making a mistake. It became clear that Corky had simply botched the original service request and wouldn't own up to it. I finally spoke to the service manager and ultimately convinced him to meet me halfway on the cost of another new tire. Thankfully, after making a fuss, they replaced the tire that actually needed replacing. Sorry, Beaman. I'm still a loyal customer, but your service department needs a lesson in good service. more

Beware of oil changes at Beaman they may not install your filter correctly then all your oil will blow out, like mine did. Take your car to Rivergate Toyota they fixed the problem caused by Beaman's negligence at NO cost. more

I first contacted a person in finance and explained I had bad things on my credit. And for the past 8 years had no credit . I told them my situation and how my husband and I were trying to build credit from divorces , poor choices, etc. Beaman got me approved no problem. I drove out of there with a 2011 Camry. I dealt with Javon Payton and Mike Turpin. Great people!!! All of them down there !! A week later we went to get my husband a vehicle so he could be building his credit as well. We had went to Ron Hibbard to look at a truck for him and they were not willing to help us at all. So we went back to Beaman. Again they got us approved. Not only that but Eric Kinslow head of finance worked hard to get my husband a lower interest rate and knocked a year off his payments . We were in a tough situation with my husbands loan and I explained that to Eric. He helped us beyond measure ...I can't say enough about what Beaman done for us and what they gave to us ...what it meant to be building OUR credit . A week later I took my mom and she also bought a vehicle. They done the same for her. Excellent people !!!! And I cannot say enough good about them. Everyone we went to tried to screw us royally or treat us poorly because we were a waste of time. But Beaman gave us a very fair deal and put us on the road in a new car . They did what other dealers promise to do but only DON'T carry out that promise. Like Ron Hibbard, Rivergate Toyota ...you don't really want to go to these places . Trust me you want to go to Beaman. more

We were led to believe we were getting our car for a different price then it turned out on the paperwork. One person I finally reached tried to explain it away and was rude. Other calls were never returned. The issue was never resolved but I moved on. I was later contacted about grading my experience and asked to let them know if I had any issues that needed addressed so they could correct them. When I gave my response, I was treated like I was the problem. Scott called me up and promised to make it right and said he'd call me right back. He never did. After more than a week I tried calling him to check the status. My calls were never returned. When I finally spoke to to him again, he was extremely rude and disrespectful. He had made the promises, never kept them and then lied about ever agreeing to. He was like a different person and I was stunned. He lied several times during all this. The experience was very upsetting. My blood pressure shot up and I was stunned at the rude and unprofessional behavior I was subjected to. I hate that I gave my business to these rude, dishonest people. We like Toyotas but now the car reminds me of how I was treated. The way I was disrespected was far worse than being cheated on the price. more

I purchased a used vehicle form Beaman Toyota Downtown Nashville. I looked for a vehicle for several weeks and other dealers. My friend had just purchased a vehicle and asked them where to go. I bought a used tacoma from Don Lott. He was really helpful. If he hadn't told me he had only been selling for about a year I would have thought he'd been doing it forever. I just wanted to thank Ryan Denson for the great car buying experience. He sold me exactly what I wanted at the price I wanted. I couldn't have asked for an easier or better car buying experience. My new Camry is great btw. Ryan took great care of me and made sure I got what I wanted. I'm not sure about the previous comments but obviously they are written by the same person(don't know who you think you're fooling buddy but you told the same story twice under two different names, hope you don't think anyone is falling for that). Ryan was a blast to work with and he knows everything about the Camry. Go see him if you want a Toyota and he'll take good care of you more

Had been doing tons of research online to find the best price and exact truck I wanted. With many dealers having my contact information, I was bombarded with salesmen trying to sell me what they had on THEIR lot. Perhaps it was luck, but Will Taylor called and had the exact model and was ready to deal! I was treated very rudely at Beaman recently. I came in with cash to buy a car for my daughter. They play a nasty sales game with you. I had too many questions that my sales guy, Ryan Denson, could not handle, so I was sent to talk to Torsten Taylor. Basically they wanted to put a 17 year old driver in an overloaded car. WHAT?! I told them our needs and they were ignored, all because they thought well dad has the cash, must be okay. I'm not an idiot! Don't like being treated like one. Don't fall for their scams. Beaman is a rip off. Just compare them to other local car dealers and you will see. more

Terrible car buying experience. Their sales people are shady. Got the run around. They make promises and sales pitches and don't deliver on them. They don't answer their phone or call you back. Only got the run around. They are UNPROFESSIONAL. The Sales Manager, Torsten Taylor, is a liar. Ryan Denson, the sales guy, was also caught in many lies. They drew out the sales process into a big 3 day ordeal when it was uncalled for. Beaman is the most unprofessional car dealership I have ever been to and I'm happy to say I took my business & money elsewhere. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with these jokers. more

Great Customer Service! I was really impressed with my sales rep Sterling Brown, he was very patient with me and really worked with me to get the car of my dreams!
