Excellent customer service 5/2/2012

I took in 2 different computers for them for diagnose. They told me one (an Hewlett Packard) was not worth fixing because the video on the motherboard was bad. They said I could replace it for less but the other one just had some viruses on it. I appreciated their honesty. So many businesses try to make a fast buck like Best Buy and then sell you something that you don't need or that isn't what you really wanted. Not these guys. I had the one Dell fixed in a couple of days and the Hewlett Packard - I threw it away. I replaced the Hewlett Packard with a refurbished Dell they were selling. Great selection, customer service, integrity, and their prices aren't too shabby either. I have recommended them to my coworkers and would recommend them to anyone who reads this. more

The fixed my MacBook! 8/7/2011

I have driven by the store many times and did not realize they fixed macs. I thought they only fixes PCs but they work on any type of computer. They fixed the screen in my Macbook for much less then Apple. The computer is working great. Had very quick service and they met my deadline before an important trip. I would recommend - they do charge for diagnostic testing but they took it off my repair price - so that was a big plus. After my warranty ran out on my Mac I thought I was doomed to pay for expensive repairs at the Apple store downtown. I'm so glad I stopped by and found out they worked on Macs. I originally bought a Macbook because I heard they don't get viruses but on of my coworkers just got a virus on her Macbook. I told her about BBS Computers and she said she was going to give them a try. more

Very Faster Repair 6/3/2011

Very fast service. I opted for a fast repair and got my computer back in 2 days! I got the best tech service I've ever had. I would recommend them over the geek squad. Hopefully I will not have any more problems in the near future but it if I do I will be back. They went over and above, above and beyond. more

BBS Computers is the absolute best around?? 10/8/2010

I have to say - BBS Computers have been around for quite awhile, but it wasn't until this year I decided to actually shop there. And right from the get go, I get the friendliest service i have ever received. Every employee wanted to help me get the best computer for my budget. The employee who really sealed the deal with me was Keith. from the Rivers Ave. store. He helped me get the most out of the laptop I was wanting for the small budget I had. And if I ever have a problem - PC Laptops has a lifetime service on my computer. Thanks a bunch PC Laptops for being the only place from here on out I am going to shop for my computer needs. The prices were the best I could find for what I was looking for. more

Very Affordable and Professional 9/19/2010

BBS Computers works on the computers where I work, so when I had a problem with my home internet I called one of the BBS Computers guys that works at my office. He met me after work and resolved my problems. The cable company had been working on it for weeks. I just wished I had of called BBS Computers sooner. more

Children in grade school have more computer skills than I do. When my tower blew up and fried before my very eyes, I received a recommendation from a friend to contact BBS Computers. Having done so, I am pleased to report a warm welcome and patient explanations. So pleased I left the store with another.? more

Dell Computer Store 9/18/2010

My wife ordered a Dell computer from Dell earlier this year and I spilled a coke on the keys. I called Dell, but since it was an accident it was not covered by warranty. I read online that BBS Computers works on Dell computers so I called them up and they came to my house and took the laptop apart and cleaned out the coke and cleaned everything with alcohol or something. It now works great and all I can say is thank you for saving my marriage. more

Best Computer Repair Place 9/18/2010

My dumba** boy friend dropped it so I took it here to get it fixed. Told them I was leaving town Friday and needed it fixed. They saved my pictures and had me up and running in time for this weekends bike rally in Maggie Valley, North Carolna. Fast and friendly more

Great Deal on a Dell 4/5/2010

My old laptop finally died and I got a good deal on a new one from the folks at BBS. They were to take all my photos and music off my old laptop and put them on the new one! I took my new laptop home and it was just like the old on but a lot faster. Pros: Friendly employees with great prices more

My laptop would not connect to the internet. It turned out my son had downloaded a virus over the weekend. I needed my laptop for work so I opted for a same day diagnostic. I received a call 3 hours later with repair options and 24 hours later I had my laptop back in perfect working condition! Pros: Super Fast Service more

Terrible Service 12/20/2009

Tech took days to call me back and couldn't give details of issue with my computer just price tag to fix it. Meanwhile I decided $200 was out of my budget and would find a way to do it myself. After bringing computer home the problem I had was now nonexistant. I pushed 2 buttons and fixed it myself for free. Sales clerk is terrible, impolite, and doesn't care about his job. Passes everything off and blames crappy information (and lack of work ethic) on technicians instead of looking in the notes section for information on customer order number. Terrible place and I will never go back!!!! Cons: Horrible service. Tried to rip me off more

Expensive service 8/20/2008

I purchased Dell Vostro PC, laptop and wireless router this month. The front desk salesman stated that wireless system was compatible and very easy to install ""about 30 minutes"". After two hours trying to set up, I needed help. Service techs would not talk you through as front desk person stated they would. I was quoted a price of $325.00 for them to come out and set up. Not in my buget! The price of computer was reasonable, just a little mark-up from Dell website. Front desk people have to refer just about each question to manager or techs. Recommend independent service from elsewhere. Pros: Good pricing for products Cons: expensive service more

Fixed My Computer Fast 7/25/2008

I needed my computer fixed fast and BBS Computers had a technician at my house the same day I called. My computer had viruses and was running slow. I haven't had any more problems since it was fixed and the computer is faster then when it was brand new. more
